i just used one of these for the first time. I found it in my grandpas house it was from the 60s. I put the filter in upside down and so when I flipped it water poured out and burned me and I dropped it and ruined my kitchen. After I cleaned up I tried it again and it went much smoother. Definitely do the flip as fast as you can
I had seen these coffee makers referenced but never seen one used so I enjoyed that. The chill music in the background and Clem's soothing voice makes me feel like I'm watching an educational video for kids. I mean that in the best possible way so I hope it seems like I do. I think I want Clem to do the voice of a character in a cartoon.
Not necessarily. Using this Neapolitan cuccumella, you can be sure the coffee will percolate at the appropriate temperature and the finished coffee will not continue boiling or get burned. To get this, a good moka pot must be pretty tall so the heat from the bottom can't reach the upper reservoir where the finished coffee accumulated. Unlike with a moka pot, you also need no spare washers - the Neapolitan cuccumella doesn't have one and works forever.. Quite surprisingly, the cuccumella also delivers some crema (unlike the moka). Personally, I still prefer good moka coffee, but it's not better in general, just a matter of individual preference.
This coffee tastes much better than moka. It's the same strong and intense but the taste spectrum is much broader and richer. That's because the water is always of the ideal temperature during the percolation. Also, slow gravity percolation is always better than the hurried process under pressure.
@@vladimirmach6145 The moka pot doesn't form crema? Lol. What a joke. No coffee brewing method will get you the crema you seek. If you want that you can buy an espresso machine or get the Flair Espresso. Also, the crema doesn't enhance the flavour. You care for it for the looks; nothing more.
So Clem is getting more confident in her presenting while making a video skill. This is her best video yet in my opinion. She is not Gail, but one day she might be Gail level. Keep up the good work!
Love the color and pattern in that dress. Of course that has nothing to do with the coffee. I found it interesting that you flip the assembly to enable the extraction.
No offense… but the last thing I ever want to do in my life now is make flip and drip coffee. The snapping of the fingers to indicate the passing of time, however, is inspired. 😂 You should sell it with this caption: “It’s like a Moka Pot… except it’s a total pain in the butt.” 😂 The slurping tip alone though is worth the price of admission. Does that work for wine too?? 😂
I love these videos, but sometimes Clem's intensity goes down quite a bit and with it her voice. She needs to speak up through the entire video. This is probably your best series though!
@@user-me7mm7gr1p of course, I know how traditions work in my country and I lived in Naples for a while too, we use moka (I don't even like it that much btw, I'm a pour over guy), the "cuccuma" this neapolitan moka, was invented and used around the 18th century in Naples but today even if there is someone attached to old traditions, everyone (across the whole country) use regular moka at home. Have a good cup of joe, cheers.
@@dom2555 Well I have stayed in Naples and guested in homes between Naples and Amalfi and I have seen these pots frequently, mostly though, you see elderly Nepopolitan Grandmothers hitting their Nespresso machines really hard for the last drip of coffee.
Using these pots is really dangerous unless you're very careful. Once you turn the pot upside down, boiling water starts squirting from the pressure hole in the boiling part, which can severely scald the user or other people or animals in his surrounding.
I grew up next door to an Italian family who served Moka pot coffee all the time. I had forgotten about it. She doesn't know what she's doing, her dress doesn't fit properly, her manicure is horrible. I just wanted to see a Moka pot brew.
No offence...but clem needs a uniform....the glasses work. But she needs to use the same distinctive shirt (whatever is decided) ... To create a ' presence ' ....👽👽👽
I see potential for an ASMR channel by Clem.
Thanks Clem. Just when I thought my whole day was gonna suck, you made it all better. ✌️🤙👍

LOL!

Clem's cute factor on a normal day 100/100. Clem's cute factor at 5:21? Mathematically impossible to calculate.
How have i watched this channel for the longest and never seen Clem...damn, Im in love.
Oh and that hot water dancing on the hot plate is called the ledinfrost effect!

I dunno about that, i think she got it a few videos back and is using her quirky personality and attitude to make these videos more interesting!
😂
What a munchkin you are, Clementine ❣️
Another great Friday video keep them coming they brighten up my day have a great weekend
Bring her back!
Soon we'll be able to find those leaking coffee pots at TJ Maxx or Ross's useless but cheap gadget section.
So true! Lol!
Cute as hell.
Meh.
not to be confused with the rip and dip. lmao
Nice job, Clem. I am still waiting for SCG to make a Clementine shirt. Maybe throw it in with a Rocket? My Silvia is too slow.
APOCALYPSE MEOW!
She is going to be a star, trust me. I loved this so much.
Could bring that little guy camping huh
Clem really is something special.
Thank you Clem. Not the Gail, but interesting review. I have not seen this method before. I enjoyed the demo.
More of Clementine!

Nice, looks delicious. 😋
How much coffee in grams?

I think Clem is hotter than the coffee.
reminds me of marcel the shell.
How many grams of coffee you put in it?
Clem you’re amazing, I enjoy all your videos. Nice job.
Amazing? How?
Bit dense, isnt's it?
The voice is like a cheese grater directly applied to the ears. Absolutely horrific.
pretty much south indian style coffee except you pour hot water into the upper container and no flipping
Brava! Mindi! (Mindi or Mindy is the Nickname for Clementine, Clementina and Clementia)
I put my hand upon your hip, when I flip you flip we drip!
I love these videos, but sometimes Clem's intensity goes down quite a bit and with it her voice. She needs to speak up through the entire video. This is probably your best series though!
A Clementine video!!!!! Yay!!!!
Jesus believed He could....so He did.
That's a really blizzard process
4:52 wtf
In Germany we say :"Zeitlupe".
She was an idiot for flipping it slow.
That is quite the fetching floral-print frock. Honestly.
You’re such a doll... Love the dress...8)
from an italian guy: forget about this, stick with the moka if you want a traditional italian home made coffee method
Like you would know only because you are italian... ahaha

Where's Gale
What do you think of it so far RUBBISH
Gale please come back to Coffee collaboration... pwease 🙏🙏🙏

It shouldn't be severe enough to pose a hazard if he heat setting is correct, from my understanding.
Clem - whats with the dress? Gain 60 lbs or get a smaller sized dress.

True. I agree Parker.

A uniform! Lol! I think Clem embodies the opposite type of person to wear a uniform. Besides, her style is perfect. 👍
"To create a presence"? HA Don't mess with adorableness.
