Beautiful dolls. The purple dress looks amazing. Personally I think they are very pricey but it's Disney!!. I'm hoping the purple dress Ariel goes on sale and I'll buy her for sure. Hope you're having a great week Grant!!❤❤❤

🎉❤🎉OMG ANOTHER SET OF BUEATIFUL DOLLS GRANT😊... My favorite of the 2 is definitely the mattel creations...I LOVE ROOTED LASHES. She definitely a stunning barbie. Tho I do agree the first Ariel has a fabulous dress,you know purple is my color😂😂😂and the shoes are everything 😊... keep it rolling Grant🎉❤🎉XOXO 😊😘

I noticed that she has the longer face just looking straight forward in the move like when she's playing with her hair when she meets Eric on the beach. Also mattel seems to be getting close to the Disney store version

I like the purple dress in the anniversary set better and the head in the designer version without the lashes the designer head reminds me of the old 90s mattel Ariel without the elongated features

After your review, I went and ordered the 35th Anniversary Ariel in the purple dress. What sold me was the pearly finish to her skin and the face mold. Just gorgeous, has me singing "Part of your woooooorld"! The nostalgia is real. Thank you for your wonderful reviews. Really helps in the decisions I make. The fact that you don't have that many Ariels is funny to me. I have at least 20 Ariel dolls just in my room alone, not counting the several that are around the house. I much prefer the one with the finale/sparkle dress. I think the face looks better without the rooted lashes. And the effect of her in the box coming out of the water is magical. I'm very excited to get her... whenever Amazon fulfills my order.

Wish the one in the purple dress had a closed mouth like the artwork on the back of her box. I don't collect Disney dolls. I would get the one with the purple dress because she's cheaper. These usually go cheap as well.
It’s weird I feel like I’m the only one who sees the dress in the movie as silver or a slate blue. Like I can see how people might see the lavender when she’s first walking out but no one takes into consideration that Disney’s animation team has always payed CLOSE attention to lighting and how it effects colors. She’s almost silhouetted by the sunrise so it’s darker even she looks darker but then when she’s twirling around in Eric’s arms and they kiss that is unambiguously a light blue. There’s like not even a drop of pink in the dress at all. But then cut to all the toys and this dress has only been released in lavender and I’m like this is not the color. I guess I’m the only one who sees it silver or blue
YES I REMEMBERED IT AS SILVER TOO!! Lol I actually said it when I recorded the video but then edited it out because I rewatched the movie and this time it did look purple!’ I swear it was icy silver!!!! But you’re right, she does look dark from the sun coming behind her and when she’s in his arms it’s a different shade!!! You’re not wrong at all- I totally see it!!!!!
@@dolls2remember I’m almost wondering if Disney is leaning into it being purple because they already market her in a blue dress and this is just a “let’s make it a different color” kind of thing. The only reason Aurora is sold in her pink gown over the blue one is because they already have Cinderella in a blue gown and they decided that since cinderella is already blonde and in blue they didn’t want to sell another blonde princesses in blue and so she’s pink. Ariel was even only given the teal gown because Aurora wears pink and they were like that’s Aurora’s color except now Ariel’s parks gown is the same color as jasmine’s outfit and since Rapunzel is the only one in purple they might be like “this is ok” we can do purple here. But honestly I’d have straight up preferred silver with out blue or purple in it
I like the one in the purple dress more. Her face is "chubbier" like the teenage Ariel. The other one is Ariel 5 years after becoming a human, discovered by a model agency hahahaha

Great review. You have such a charming and relaxing voice. You can record audio books 😂 Love and ordered both of these dolls. However Ariel enchanted collection's eyelashes are so big, that I'll probably chop half of them.

Idk why the doll is so small. It looked way better in the photos. Her hair was so crunchy and no volume on mine. Overall disappointed af.

okay update! the shoes fit model muse- theyre a tab bit loose- but you could get away with it, the model muse shoes are also a bit snug/small on the Disney feet, but you could also probably get away with it. but overall, the Disney feet are sliiiiightly bigger than the classic barbie model muse foot!
I much prefer the 2023 movie Ariel dolls, their faces are much sweeter and designs more interesting. Animated Ariel dolls always have these long faces...
