I switched to ladies club's a year ago. Being 5'8" they gave me better control. Now, I shoot in the 80s versus high 90s. Sure, I lose some distance, but, I don't care. Control over distance. I love the feel of the clubs.
Hello Mike. been wondering this as well. Im a relatively shorter guy 5'6"... was thinking ladies clubs are better for me?? I've been topping anything longer than a 7 iron!! What do you think?
I found a set of Lynx Crystal Cats at a Goodwill. Lengthened them by one inch and they feel like butter to hit. Much less stress on this senior's body.
Booked my flights tonight from Manchester to Dubai. Heading over on 14 October 2020 for 2 weeks. Will be booking in with you Andy for a lesson. Had my first lesson with you at the Trafford centre about 2014 I think, maybe earlier! Reckon my vouchers are still valid? 🤣😂
Great vlog. Dont know what your usage was prior to this but surely if you had practiced with the clubs for a few weeks prior to the vlog the outcome would have been even more positive 😁
I have stuff flex men’s regular flex men’s and ladies flex clubs and I like the ladies the most . I like whippet feeling clubs .so easy too get your hand thru the ball before club easily . And they are fun too play with. You loose distance but still so easy too play golf just a distant factor
A good player can play with almost any clubs. length, lie, loft (gapping session) feels mandatory to help golfers And ofc you can additionally optimize your game with the right irons/shafts a lot. But tbh, most player would improve by far more by taking lessons. On the other hand, if you are
Yes agreed, i definately found A WAY to play!! It was enjoyable nevertheless. Custom fitting is important but lessons for real and long term improvement in key
Haha yeah I’m just putting it down to talent and natural ability hahah!! Jokes- custom fitting is definately key. As I said at the end , I’d lost 40-50yards off the tee which is HUGE
If they took off the word Ladies and stopped colouring them pink, would clubs like these be bought more by men I wonder? Good content Andy; loved it Cheers
I found an 11 degree Callaway Hawkeye driver with a ladies shaft that I used and it is a fairway finder! Granted distance is not in the 240 - 250 yard range. However my son used it and nearly drove the green on a short par four leaving him an easy pitch. So one can’t discount the equipment.
Don't forget about torque in the shaft. With women's clubs designed for obvious lower club head speeds, it's a wonder you would ever be able to square the club up.

@@OrvinReyesHi I'm a senior 5.6 " so I may try it..I'm a beginner. I can't hit straight slice-top town. I won't have to cut it. Slower type swing.
@@OrvinReyesme too I'm also 5.6 senior.

Been trying them out as a senior,, gaining swing speed and distance threw the bag cheers Alan 🤔🤔😆
Alan thats good. Forget the name of the clubs its about whether they can improve your golf overall and it seems them are doing
nice round Andy, just shows how you have to adapt with different specs of clubs.
I enjoyed your video! Watching from Nova Scotia, 🇨🇦

My usage was 0... so much so I couldnt even find where we kept the ladies rental sets 😀😂
@@andycartergolf so so professional 🤣👍
Good fun video Andy.
Bloody hell Andy I'd be made up with that shot on the par 3 hahaha good vlog chief
Hahaha it was a lucky thin!
Who shouted in your back swing on par 3. Good watch Andy . Rick is looking for new irons give him a try on the titliest ones 😉👍
He needs real game-improvers!! He’ll have a long search
I love the draw, I can’t draw my driver. That had me rolling
Love it haha
Carter's Golf It looks like I might need a ladies driver too, I have been slicing my driver lately.
I can if a duck hook qualifies as a draw.

Get them ordered in inch longer shafts 😂
Like you said mate who needs custom fitting 🤣
Then they’d be custom fit ha

Oops this back fired a little. But do you think custom fitting would lower your score by 1-2 strokes? Your just too talented a ball striker😎
Haha yeah I’m just putting it down to talent and natural ability hahah!!

Gotta be a great way to work on your tempo mate...updated WITB next 😂
Yeah it definately had me more relaxed with swing speed etc
Well done UA-cam, you should play with ladies more often 😁
Haha I’ll play with the clubs you can play off the tees
Carter's Golf great idea
Nice blouse to go with the clubs pal - effortless swing though, so jealous :) Good vlog.......
Haha thanks Rob

Absolutely they would and they 100% should do that.
I'm 65 and I play with my wife's clubs frequently. She's 5-8 so I added an inch to the length and it fits us both.

Left hand ladies challenge 🏌🏻♂️⛳️
Need to learn to play left handed 1st haha
Good vlog Andy, glad you didn't play to good with those clubs, i wouldn't want to see you in a skirt. LOL Thanks.

Don't think your mic likes the heat either ahah
I know, and this mic is class ha
Mmmmm the beard is fooling no one dear!
Dammit haha
It’s about the player not the clubs. Better to invest time in practice and money on lessons
Absolutely 100% agree (as a golf coach!)
Everyone blames equipment!!
Lee Trevino said it's the Indian, not the arrow.
