I wish I had come across this a year ago… You are absolutely the best teacher I have heard in my life... Please let me explain heard... I am a blind guy who loves to sew (thanks to Mama and the other strong and multi-talented WOMEN in my life) your explanations are absolutely beyond measure; you are the best! Thank you, I can’t wait to hear the other tutorials and then get to work expanding on my repertoire.
Aaawwwhhh, thank you so much for the nice comment. I'm so glad my explanations are clear for you and I'm so grateful that they are helpful for you. I've been down some weeks from surgery, but hopefully to be back at it soon. Let me know if I can assist in an explanation for you. Thanks for listening to my videos. Happy Sewing!
Dear Niler::: you are a great teacher! Thank you sooooo much for sharing your expertise. I have a ton of fabrics I can use to make this circular shrags. My friend gave me one in black and red, and I love the style. I will be revamping my wardrobe . Thanks again!
Thank you for this informative video. The jacket is so easy yet beautiful. I really like how you show us how to elevate our sewing so our garments look professional.
Nicer, this is amazing. I'm inspired. How beautiful to possibly use a contrasting or printed fabric to bind the armholes and the hems on both skirt and jacket. Maybe even use said fabric as a waistline contrast too. So many ideas. TFS..... Dee
Yes Dee, you are so right. There are endless possibilities that you could explore. When you find what works best for you, share it with me, maybe I'll make a video on it. Thanks so much for your loyalty. I'm up again since surgery and I'm trying to prepare and post as many videos as possible, because in a couple of weeks, I'll have yet another surgery. I feel great though and I'm so happy to be interacting with my youtube family. Thanks for watching and for the nice comment...Happy Sewing!
Me encantaría q se traduzca al español, soy aprendiz y me gustaría hacerlo. Muchas felicidades x tan bonito proyecto y GRACIAS x compartir y enseñarlo. 🙌🎶
Great idea for beginners . And smart tips gu en on the way . Thanks you i have similar colour material and look for something like this to do ....For girls with curves!
Brilliant Tutorial. I wish I had seen the lesson before trying to make one yesterday! I tried on the garment after cutting the armholes and the light weight fabric tore !! Now I know how I ought to have measured armholes first! Anyway, I just made 3 scarves from the torn fabric instead and am busy on a chiffon circle jacket today and now doing it the right way! Would you ever stay stitch the armhole edge first before adding the binding? I might on the finer fabric.

This is GREAT. I'm looking for your other videos... Say my Sister, do you have something for beginners ? I'd love to see what you have for prepubescents.
I'm sure your wife will love it. I will keep the videos coming as my health allows...right now I'm in recovery mode. I will resume new videos when I'm feeling better. Thank you so much for watchingl
What kind of fabric did you use? How did you get it in the circle, since your video didn’t show that part 🤦🏽♀️ I need to make this As Soon as Possible!
Hi Kemi. Thanks for your question. Because the fabric is cut in circular, which will give you some bias, I would think that is would work, unless the fabric is very thick and stiff. If it is, the jacket would not lie smoothly, it would kinda stand out and away from the body more so than lying close to the body. I hope this answers your question. Happy Sewing!
Hi Niler, I've been watching you for a little while now. My while reason I stated sewing was to make my on clothes I'm a size 22/20 depending on what type of material and the make of garment. What I am doing is making quilts, quilted tote bags, crocheting and knitting. But I wanna make clothes. Help
Hi Marilyn, first of all thanks for being a loyal subscriber...tell your friends about me. Now, I love the fact that you want to make your own clothes...You go girl...kudos to you! I'd love to help you with that. What exactly did you have in mind? Leave me your comment here! Thanks...Happy Sewing!
I'm not a fan of sewing pants...I do them, but I'm not excited about them and I like to show videos that I am "excited" about. Skirts with pockets not a problem, just need to know what type of skirts you are interested in making. The tops with the open shoulders are popular now. I'm not a fan of them, but I think they are cute and I had thought about making a video on how to make one...huuummm..I'll add that one to my video requests list. Blouses...with or without sleeves?
Niler Taylor because I arms are beautiful I like my blouses to come to my elbows, I love that flair look fan out. Long sleeves too yes. Thank you go chatting with me. Skirt with wide waistband zipper in back 🐕🐆🦁 a- line and the circle type.
Thanks Marilyn, it gives me something to work with. You will love my next upload as it looks fantabulous on ANY body type...stay tuned! Thanks for your input.
