I enjoyed seeing all of your finishes and WIPS. The bee piece where the crackle finish didn’t crackle looks terrific. I like it just as it is. Very cute. Love your enthusiasm for stitching and how it makes you happy. If stitching Christmas now makes you happy, go for it. Get the Christmas stitching done early so you can enjoy it and not rush as the holiday season rolls around. One of my besties doesn’t stitch and during the fall I put out all of my fall stitching and decorations which is a lot. I kind of apologized to her several years ago and said I loved all my fall stuff and I knew it was a lot. And she asked me, does it make you happy? I told her it does. And she said if it made me happy then that was all that was important. I have never forgotten that and it’s a great way to justify to myself choosing to do some of the things I do. I just turned 72 so I also use the age card to justify a lot. Happy teacher appreciation. I’m sure your students all love you, especially your stitchers. Hope you had a nice Mother’s Day as well.

Thanks for another fun filled video. I met you at the Library retreat & you were a delight (and was fortunate enough to purchase two of your Wippah Keepahs ☺️). I wish I would have made the effort to have a sit with you there and get to know you better, but hopefully we will be able to do that again sometime. Your finishes are lovely and you’re right….its such a great feeling to not only finish the stitching portion, but to FFO. It sure does make ya feel proud. You have always have a nice presentation of projects. Don't feel bad about the crackle not working. In the past, I used the white glue method for crackling. I used the crackle medium on my bee hut and it didn't work, either. I sanded it down and just used the white glue method. Maybe we just got funky bottles of crackle medium. It's cute, anyway!

I usually stitch on 14 ct, but for Mother's Day I'm trying 32 ct 2 over 2 with the magnifier. I'm still learning but I thought I would try it. Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day
Thank you, I am so glad that you are stitching. When I stitch on 18 and 20 I use 1 thread over 1. I like stitching with 1 thread, so sometimes I even stitch 1 over 1 on 16. ❤️
You have so many beautiful projects and so neatly in their project bags. Will you be selling your Whippa Keepers? Could you show us your traveling case and sewing case decorated with your decorated stickers?
Yes of course! I will show them next video. I am selling them at Stitch Maine and then after that I will post them on Instagram or I do make them for people that message me. 😊
I don't understand why you are having such a wait time with your 123 stitch order. It is rare that I ever have not received my order within five business days. Their customer service is awesome so you ought to reach out to them. Love, love, love the shadowing of the Spring Quaker!
I don’t think I’d have ripped out the heart that’s one stitch too high. My take on certain errors I make is that the designer could have easily designed it that way, so I simply go with it and fudge as necessary and don’t feel badly about it :)
