I was watching some sort of UA-cam video with Charlotte in it. She was on the eight meter during a game and she did an amazing power shot with a great whip in it. (I’m 13 btw and my dream is to be a really good and well known lacrosse player) my dad was in the room and he saw the shot an he told me “Now when your out there playing in your national championships you need to whip the ball like her. That was amazing!” And that gave me the greatest feeling and confidence ever. That night I cried happy tears because of him saying that to me. It meant a lot to me. and now whenever I’m on the eight meter in a game I will always think of my dads words. Love you dad. Thank you. ❤

After watching y’all peacefully rip nice shots it inspired me to go outside and do the same I started my freshman year of college lacrosse in 2020 during Covid and it didn’t go so well due to my poor ability to effectively learn over zoom so I went back to Texas your videos have inspired me to go back to school and grind for the passion I have for the creators game

6:25: It’s not the Umpire’s job to check that the player with the ball is ‘safe’ to shoot or pass. FIL Rule 21.A.8 Dangerous Propelling; states that a player MUST NOT “propel the ball with her Crosse in a dangerous or uncontrolled manner. A pass that is thrown or a shot that is taken without regard to the positioning of any field player is potentially dangerous”. This is a mandatory yellow card offence.
If an otherwise legal shot is prevented because a defender is illegally preventing a shot due to their body position within the fan, then an umpire can award a shooting space violation against the defender. But there are many ways a defender can legally be “in the way” of a shot.
