Hello Paul Thank for you for your videos, they are always very useful and informative. Also, it is always great, when some “automotive topics” are mentioned in this and many other videos, as since our cars - our best helpers for portable activities. I wish you great holiday season and hope to meet you once again in the air. 73
Thanks a lot. I like your clean, simple and practical comparison results/setup. For my taste IJV provided a little bit better readability in both cases.
@Smash-n-Grab The UV K5 is amazing, but it's good to see another getting some treatment from community! Has colour screen too. It would be good to see a comparison of abilities with UV K5 as the H3 is sold with more limitation with stock rom.
Fagci for CW. IJV for Weather. I don't need the weather report since I have so many other means of getting it. so I would choose FAGCI for the better clarity of the SSB signal.

Thank you for your support Alex! Happy New Year to you and yours! 😉🎆
Compare the HF bands all 3 radios
IJV has given me the best results in SAT and even FT8 decoding ,the best part is the fact that radio is not modified internally .
Fantastic and beautiful thank, 73,s💯✖️💯👍🏼🤗

Hello ! merci pour cette présentation. A quoi sert deux Mbits pour l'EEprom ?
Did you ever flash REBORN into #3? Curious if it was the radio or f/w? 👍
All of the them are pretty the same inside 😉
IJV is up to firmware 3.40 now. I agree with winners.
Yes I am aware of this but my radio was freezing with the latest version.
Hi Paul fantastic video as always, Have you tried F4HWN ?
Thank you. Not yet but I am sure I will 😉
Have you heard people are firmware modding the TIDRADIO H3, which is similar to the UV K5. NicSure Firmware.
Yes the H3 is a smashing little rig

Thank you! Brasil - RJ

You add the electronic mod card ? We see the antenna connctor instead of the light ?
Yes on two of them
Why not using the latest version of IJV?
Because my radio was freezing sometimes with the latest version.
@OM0ET I was asking because with the latest version they also provide a calibration file so I thought that might improve the reception a little bit.
@funnycompilations3396 non c'est pas mieux en réception
Ah but you are a few Hz different on the facchi. The IJV was around 10 to 20Hz higher pitched
I prefer reb0rn, better for flashing back n forth . When i tried to do this with IJV i ended up in a bootloop
On IJV you can rise RX gain but you left it at 0.
You can but reborn does it different so it will be unfair to use gain since +2 or whatever might be different on the other.
Yes, that's why I left gain on zero. For a fair comparison.
Is there a firmware that can scan for stations in hf mode?its a pain in the ass to manualy move khz by khz or type frequency
En tout cas pas cec 5.1
@ ib English please
@@LZ2SM Google translator works fine.
@@piotr7050 when you read a question in one language you should respond in the same language
OK sorry
I need BK4829 register settings ... anyone ?
Egzumer is better than IJV, And if it is not please tell me why specifically.
eh. squelch per memory / band? and thousand other reasons?
F4HWN
finnaly top ten comment hehehe
😆👍
6 kHz bandwidth on CW. Are you insane? Use a BW below 1 kHz on CW!
Is such option present?
He thinks yes 😆
@ Ectually, it isn’t a problem. Generally he is right, but inattentive 😎 If there were an ability to choose less than 6 kHz…
