Just a quick note, Islam teaches us that magic exists, the problem is it’s a direct route to the hell. Djinn (free willed creatures who can choose to be good or bad and will also be judged by God) will ask the wannabe magician to do some sacrifices to the Djinn (knowing that is a HUGE sin to sacrifice something for other then Allah.) it might also ask you to degrade yourself by being filthy and things like that. For taking on these huge sins and worshipping it (committing the worst sin - worship of other then God). It will grant you a little something you wanted. Not worth it, just read the Quran and take this chance you came so close to the actual truth to make it happen

Just so everyone knows, the practice of such things is forbidden in Islam and it is deemed as Kufr. If some people in history or modern day do it doesn’t mean it is accepted by Islam or Muslims. It’s just those practice such things despite the religion. All that’s magic and sorcery. It’s very clear in the Quran that Siher (sorcery) is forbidden. In the consensus of most Muslims and muslim scholars this is Haram.
@ Yes indeed magicians are evil! From what I know about how they get into such stuff and the process they follow to achieve what they want, they are evil. They change and tamper with the religion to do their stuff. Not to mention they literally do criminal acts! From sacrifices (could be humans if they have the chance), orgies, they even reach to the point to eat human flesh. Now not all magicians do that. But there are certain levels that if a magician wants to reach to within the world of sorcery he/ she would have to abide by what the Jinn tell them to do for them. There is a very strong reason why at some point in Europe they used to burn witches and sorcerers. It’s because they have caused destruction in the society those times. Now of course maybe there were some lying and slanderous people who accused innocent ones of doing such acts. But mainly it’s because in those times people really suffered from them and they were much bigger in numbers back then than nowadays.
@ Yes. That’s why there are some people who reverted to Islam because they discovered magic. And then they knew about Islam and what Islam says about magic. There are several videos on UA-cam of some reverts to Islam just because they discovered magic or had encounters with Jin. Because when you delve into real magic it leaves you no choice but to believe in the existence of God. Because then you realize that this is what God has warned us about.
You can look into sufi islam there’s also a sect that I think is banished now because like they believed that , they were confused for devil worshippers because they were saying that a traditionally evil figure I think iblis was going to be confused as being satanic for not bowing to Adam but the reason this figure did not bow to him was not pride but because they believed that you should only bow to Allah not some person And then iblis got confused for the devil, unjustly

Have not watched this. Is it worth watching for those who have? Any actual verifiable evidence for magic or just claims of people mentioning it in books?
It is impossible to provide conclusive evidence of magic within an empirical model. The word itself requires the presence or intervention of spirits and/or forces that transcend pure material causality and thus cannot be sensed or measured by material means, and thus an empirical perspective can only reduce it to material phenomena, whether presently understood or not. Magic is inherently predicated on taking non-falsifiable metaphysical propositions as a matter of faith. Outside of the debatable practical application, this video is still useful for purposes of anthropology, history, philosophy, and comparative mythology.
@@NevisYsbryd Thank you for providing a thoughtful answer unlike the previous ''joker". Are you saying belief in magic requires belief in magic, and it can do no more than that? That would be akin to believing in giant unicorns without it having any reality beyond the content of delusion.
@JoBlogz Nnn, sort of. Magic is ultimately but the practical application of metaphysical principles that operate on a level somehow removed from 'mundane' natural causality, with the specifics varying with the specifics of the metaphysics. 'Magic' is ultimately but the technological utilization of a different force or cause than 'mundane' reality, much as computers operate on electricity. As magic specifically deals with layers of being less directly and reliably measurable, though, assuming they claims of any given magical operations have any validity at all, the process and results are never going to be completely reliable or precise. There is a meaningful difference between .001% reliability and 50% reliability, though. Certain types of magic can be falsified and specific metaphysics can be falsified as they can be measured or deduced to be incompatible with verified physics (eg Aristotle's cosmology is fundamentally incorrect, as is the alchemical theory of substantive transmutation). Some cannot be, though, such as proposals that transcendent entities or layers or metaphysics are themselves causally behind known physics and measurable phenomena (and by extension magic that claims to gently nudge causality or fate, more like rigging the possible outcomes of dice rolls, and requiring no violation of natural laws). The mechanics of occult sciences, given that no one fully understands them (assuming the metaphysics and operations in question), have no guarantee of the success of any specific instance of magical operations, besides that some systems self-describe as being contingent on the voluntary participation of willful transcendent entities which is not reliable or guaranteed, adding a seemingly random factor. We can dismiss some things that are outright impossible and measure some as more or less probable. It is categorically impossible to positively prove any of it, though. On the other hand, this same is true of human agency itself; from a purely empirical perspective, the purely reasonable deduction is that human consciousness itself is a hallucination which is actually but a web of chemical and electrical reactions. Given the lack of reliability in human perceptual faculties, we are not certain of what exists at all-Descartes 'cogito, ergo ap sum' is invalid because it unjustifiably presumes quite a lot about the self, leaving the chain of logic where absolutely naught is assumed as indeterminate, with some form of simulation theory as likely as anything we perceive having any validity. Pure reason alone is incapable of answering many questions in the positive at all, but mostly only disproving impossible ones, predicting what the outcomes of one proposal would be were it true, and measuring probabilities. Reason alone is insufficient; functioning as a lifeform requires placing trust in something and reason cannot deduce what to trust. To live, something must be taken as axiomatic and that is inevitably a matter of assumption or faith, and anything like free will requires some quite dramatic assumptions about metaphysics wherein certain types of 'magic' may not require any further assumptions, or very small ones. Ultimately, everyone has to make up their own mind about it. Conclusive evidence one way or the other is epistemologically impossible.

Astrology is haram sister. “Whoever seeks knowledge from the stars is seeking one of the branches of witchcraft…”; that of which is inherently forbidden in Islam. A statement from our beloved prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. For many reasons, but this reason is enough: it leads you to Shirk. Our characters, life trajectory and other things are not because of celestial bodies, but because of the Will of Allah. And Allah Knows best. May Allah forgive and guide us. Ameen. You sound like you're just repeating what your college professors have told you, when the real trouble is that they can't teach you what they don't understand themselves. So, they simply disregard it. Pythagoras? Our father of geometry? Guess where he learned that? Studying with the magi (magicians) in Persia and Egypt. You can trace the education of a number of heralded Greek philosophers back to the occult teachers in Persia. Why? Because they were seeking knowledge of life, all of it. But because modern scholars don't understand what they were doing, they disregard that and just present them as thinkers. It's very cheap and does them a disservice. In the end it just makes you kind of snotty - well, that'd be very interesting if it was true - but you don't know that it isn't. No one ever taught you what those men were really doing.

All these ways like alchemy, astrology, all kinds of magic, all kinds of polytheism makes a person non muslim. How can you call islamicate occult.? This makes no sense. It is like saying noon midnight. These two things cant come together. Just because some arab named person wrote something doesn't mean it has anything to do with islam. All of the sworn enemies of prophet Muhammad were arabs their names were abdULLAH ibn ubay, amr ibn hisham, waleed ibn mugheera? This is nonsense to think all arabs are Muslims.

The Sheep the Wolves and the Shepard's
And only the Shepard's can interpret correctly
And in the human narrative the amount of Shepard's around can diminish to none or few
But when the slaver created delusion breaks, there will be millions of Shepard's
Like me, who talks to the Druids, who left the Echo's that I hear within the language, like two language's within the same language, one is Slavers words, terms meanings and teachings and the other is "straight from the nomads mouth"
I know of 5 people that I know know, this includes every expert on the WWW
A few of them talk in permanent code , echoing the narrative , but everyone else thinks its nonsense
The Sheep cant comprehend and never will
The Wolves take everything literally
So even if I speak the words or write them down they will be mis interpreted and there is nothing I can do to change that
How did we end up Shepard's ? Well I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy
There does seem to be a lot of Wolves that get really close and write books about it all, but the very fact they write it down, shows they missed the point
In "finding that needle in that haystack" poor souls spent their life "clutching at straws"
Are we sure the matrix didn't author that book......???
Can anyone tell me if and why astrology is haram?
Astrology is haram sister.
“Whoever seeks knowledge from the stars is seeking one of the branches of witchcraft…”; that of which is inherently forbidden in Islam.
A statement from our beloved prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.
For many reasons, but this reason is enough: it leads you to Shirk.
Therefore, only rely on Allah, no one knows the secrets of the unseen, future events etc. except Allah. Our characters, life trajectory and other things are not because of celestial bodies, but because of the Will of Allah. And Allah Knows best.
May Allah forgive and guide us. Ameen.
I would still advise you to watch other scholars advise you regarding this topic:

Uh, i dunno man, im worried cartels and mafiosos are going to like this book a whole lot😢
Very interesting, all of it. But, of course, given relevant epistemic constraints, none of it conforms or corresponds to objective reality.
No one ever taught you what those men were really doing.
let's get you some nice shirts
TaqwAllah!! Fear God! 🙏
After meeting up, it's not fear, it's a healthy respect of being able to inhabit the body made for me. And is going to eat the body in some crazy shit painful way or not. I am definitely not the body. ❤ love is all we are, the attachment to things may be difficult, but bs will get shook off. Respect right such actions like and kind 🙏🌬

Islamicate means related to regions where islam is the primary religion. Not that it is part of islamic religious practice.
Occult means hidden.
This isn't part of islam and im not even muslim.

Islamic occult and related things comes from kabbala and jews , so islamic schoolars took it converted it used it. The origin is that.
Most of the prominent texts of Kabbalah, i.e. Zohar, sefer yeztzirah etc...came long after this.
