@@batmanwins5701 Congrats man! It does feel damn good when you can play what you wanna play, staying on top of it is a brutal journey though lmao. Sage is SO much fun would strongly recommend saving your tokens for her next.
Feels like Sage and Thena are in every meta deck at the moment to the point where not having them feels like a distinct disadvantage. Based on reviews of those cards at the time, nobody seemed to know how impactful they would be.
I’ve been playing a ton in high infinite, and I’m seeing Arishem in most of my games. He’s a lot of fun to play! But, I’m definitely seeing wayyyy too much of him. It feels really oppressive, especially when they play Loki on 3 or Leech on 4. Absolutely too strong rn, and I really think he needs nerfed. I doubt they will until end of August though, since he’s the new shiny toy
I lm seeing way too many Lokis created ay Arishem. 3 today but it really feels like it was stacked against me when they still got their loki. Also most phastos i see are created by Arishem so that feels bad too
My big beef is they get all these random cards with Arishem yet still somehow draw Loki + quinjet on curve and then literally every single counter card they need to casserole me lol. He should produce more random cards imo bc the draws are just way too consistent
@@tonyjabroni7205way too consistent! I've noticed that too. They seem to always have that double chang shi or double blob or whatever. Plus rogue never misses
Yea I am exited too, I am missing card for every deck though so I would not try is and this video for me is useless but it's only my problem I quess...
Arishem is definitely not broken or dominant to the point of needing a nerf. He can be beat by really reliable decks and since it's RNG heavy you can just get bad cards and draw bad. Junk also is effective since you clog their board so they can't cheat out these good cards 1 or 2 turns early.
Don't know about anyone else, but personally this has been the most frustrating season to hit infinite. Made it through 70 to 90 in a few days and have spent over a week getting from 98 back to 90 and...yeah. I play an Arishem deck and literally every opponent also plays Arishem. I switch up to a Thanos/Lockjaw deck and all of a sudden, everyone is playing a destroy deck that you never see playing Arishem. Seems like anytime I switch up a deck that bots are playing a counter deck.
I've also noticed this I've not been playing arishem but I've been switching between surfer and a kitty thena deck and I'm struggling to get out of the 80's this season where as the last 2 seasons I've flew into infinite within the 1st week
@@KingDingHDgaming Right?! I've hit infinite fairly easily for months and it never felt unfair. It's pretty easy to tell when you're playing against bots vs humans but I know I've been playing against mostly bots and it's kinda ruining the fun of the game.
All of these decks have either season pass cards or spotlights that are at first low scored. Then turn to must haves. You literally have to be a whale or have cards gifted to you to keep up in this game anymore. I wish card acquistion would have stayed the way it was before spotlights. At least then you had a chance at getting new cards. Even with spotlight, it's still 50/50. Idk I just wish I enjoyed the game still. Been on a break for a bit but feel like I'm not missing it.
Spent all my gold to get the spotlight key for him but don't have nearly as many options at level 1200 any advice for a new player to make arishem work without loki or blob
Your reviews are amazing, but it seems like Nocturne is a staple in 9 out of 10 decks. It would be great if you could offer us more alternatives to play around with.
I tried that DH deck with WB sub for Sage but it was hard to get vertical enough at times Maybe have been a skill issue. Honestly but my win rate was 45%. Switched to Surfer bird hawk and jumped to 67% win rate + 21 cubes. But Im a lot more experienced with surfer
Part of the problem is that we need better deck trackers. I only play on my android phone and the deck tracker stopped working for that and hasn't been fixed in ages.
Save your tokens because there will be a card that you will regret not having tokens for in the future. If you really want to waste your tokens then mockingbird as white widow will probably get nerfed.
What would you recommend as a replacement to Sage in the on-reveal Namora deck? You talked about how people hasn't bought Namora, but often I think the issue is that not many people were able to buy Namora, Sage AND Nocturne, and they often go together
I'm not sure I like Lockjaw cycling every card played into it each round... before they took him out back with Ole Yeller, I had really gotten used to dumping a stone and Cull Obsidian. It was a great way to get Cull out.
Hi sir, new player here just started playing 4 days ago. I reached Infinite rank with collection level of 227. Mainly using onreveal cards from starter decks. Any advice how to win more since every match in infinite rank I see new cards I haven’t seen like ever. Thanks
Congratulations on reaching Infinite after starting the game. Unfortunately in Infinite You are matched to players with higher collection levels, differently than when You climbed. The only way is trying to get new cards, that are introduced every week, but only the good ones. How to distinguish good from bad? That is the question, that every Snap player asks every week. I advise to watch Alex, Cozy, Dekkster and KM Best content. You should also try to acquire older cards, that have proven quality like Jeff, Hope, Nocturne, Thena and so on. It is a bumpy road, sometimes frustrating, but after few months it will give results. If You stick around. Good luck 👍🏻
I'd recommend you DON'T try to hit infinite as an early player. I'm sure playing non-infinite players might be too easy or boring but you will most likely get blown out by infinite players with more cards than you being a lower collection level.
@@outphase78 I strongly disagree. When You climb, You are matched with players of comparable Collection Level. You learn to play Your standard, low-level deck. You earn valuable rewards, like credits, variants, gold. It doesn’t matter, that in Infinite You’ll get smoked. Your goal for the season is complete and rewards are Yours. In Infinite You can then gain experience, learning how cards You don’t own works, see cool new combos and interactions with locations. Without any penalty, cause once You’ll get to Infinite, You stay there, till the end of the season. Also, next season, You’ll start higher on the ladder. After You’ll grow Your collection, You’ll be able to challenge more number of players in Infinite. But those sweet cardbacks, that You have earned on Your way, will stay in Your collection forever.
@@Mr_Paw_revised Thanks alot, I will definitely stick around. As you said I started watching these youtube videos for help. My competitive self just cant accept losing hahaha

I was using untapped until it stopped working on Android and I guess a lot of people are in the same situation so I'm always hesitant when it comes to untapped statistics... My Windows PC has no idea what Snap is...
I understand the reasoning behind low statistics to remove cube and win rate, however when talking about each deck you would still mention if the deck have a good cube and win ratio, so I feel like there is no reason to exclude the information from the decks. Have the warning in the beginning of the video, but please keep the info about the win and cube rate. Or perhaps add "low stats data" or something when/if needed.
Is Nocturne the best card in the game? its one of the only cards I don't have and Everyone is running this card. I was trying to save up for Sersi but I guess I need to prioritize Nocturne.
Basically Nocturne is the new Jeff. It almost fits every deck, it is 5 power You can move, while getting it on the board as early as turn 3. It can also reset unfavorable location. It is a perfect support card. I skipped it and now I’m saving tokens to get it. Next on my list.
Cards generated by Arishem does not count for the weekend challenge 🤷🏽♂️ I know because I have drawn it a few times, won the match, but my counter is still at zero 😅
@@YebisuLxckNot the guy but I'm 13,000 CL and I'm missing cards in every single of these decks. Doesn't help that Nocturne was downtalked a lot by everyone and she is in literally every single deck lol. But even then it's just Hope Summers, Gwenpool, Sage, Thena in every other deck.
@deliro8758 same w me, but I'll be able to get all of them in about 3 days time, the game does also make you have to gather your recourses and save them, the game is f2p if you just save and use at the right times.
Ask 2nd dinner to release the raw numbers for us to analyse. Ive played a game that developed its own community around that as everyone went to analyse the true data.
Yeah screw this game. Arishem is legit busted and really makes it not fun Oooo Nova coming out soon big whoop 😂 its not gonna do shi to counter that +1 energy
I think Arishem got secretly nerfed. His power and text hasn’t changed but he stopped generating good cards since the update. It seems like I get nothing but dead cards now.
I think the untapped statistics aren't where they used to be because of the inability for mobile (on Android anyway, don't know about iPhones) to run the untapped tracker on their phone. I hardly ever play snap on my PC so mobile only players aren't being represented
It's a huge problem that every single meta deck has at least 2 cards from the last 2 seasons in it. Card acquisition has to change or the game will just drift into pay to win territory.
I'm a bit disappointed with the best decks of this week. Very little variety, basically all the decks had the same cards: Kitty, Angela, Thena, Jeff, Hope and Nocturne Also this might be the first week that there isn't a destroy deck 😮
This game has snowballed too far to be able to catch up on the series 5 cards. I enjoy the game a lot and will continue. I just feel upset knowing that I don't have widow, nocturne, sersi, ajax, and others because I just did not have the money or the keys. I wish I got new cards from caches at least every 100 opens? lol. Idk, maybe I am asking too much for a F2P. But I have put a good amount of time and even some money into the game and still find that the game is getting harder to track with.
Nocturne is more versatile, she can go in many decks. Thena is specifically better with the Angela/Kitty package. Choose whichever type of playstyle you prefer.
I cam back to the game a few weeks ago and thought that Hope Summers seemed really strong and pinned the card. I now have 6k tokens. Is she worth it? Just feels bad because iv just found out she was a season pass card 🤦♂️. (I have a few decks she would fit in) oh finally, shes not downgrading to series 4 anytime soon?
@@KingDingHDgaming awesome, Thank you for letting me know! I don’t have all the cards. But i think i could make an average silver surfer deck. Can’t believe how many new cards there are now lol
Hope is a 5 star card. It’s really, really good. I don’t think she will get to series 4 until next year. From the beginning Angela and Kitty formed a new package with her. Now it also has Thena. This synergy is crazy good. Anyone not having Hope should prioritize getting her. Before Nocturne, Sage, Red Hulk, Mockingbird etc. But it’s just my opinion.
@@TranceVivi Good for You 👍🏻 I think You’ll be very pleased with the quality of Hope. She’s good in Surfer - sometimes this one extra energy lets You play Surfer with Absorbing Man or Nova, Killmonger, Surfer. Hope also fits in large number of decks, that really like ramp style play. Good luck and have fun 😉
I refuse to believe that namora and surfer are doing good with everyone using doc oc on turn 3 and a maybe more than one...cause of course they got another copy with it
I feel like you're wrong about arishem not being as oppressive as some of the other decks that have come out. Doc oc has been a menace so I made a deck just to counter arishem which has been working really well
It is not oppressive at all. Loki/Collector was far more oppressive. You couldn't counter it at all. Darkhawk and Mobius alone will counter Arishem and we are still waiting for that Cassandra card to come out (which is more so the Mobius to Arishem's Loki). They could’ve done that this whole time with gold tickets or the 1000 tokens in spotlight caches but they won’t because of “unique collections” or in other words, drop more money if you want to have every card.
I just passed 10k and I have almost every card that I really want to have. Still need sage and mockingbird but most of the other stuff I'm missing isnt really important. Hit monkey would be kinda decent but I don't know if I'd play it much.
They waited until Cassandra drop and another whole week of course if that card can decrease play or win rate of Arishem
@@tonyjabroni7205way too consistent! I've noticed that too. They seem to always have that double chang shi or double blob or whatever. Plus rogue never misses
@@belwasp It's like Arishem generates random cards and places them on the bottom of the deck. He's essentially an electro with little to no downside.
I so excited to know about the best decks, Thanks!
Yea I am exited too, I am missing card for every deck though so I would not try is and this video for me is useless but it's only my problem I quess...
Thanks Alex, much appreciated. I was wondering how do you handle the OTA impact this week and I'd say you nailed it.
Thank you so much 🙏
Great take on the best performing decks! thanks again
It's just poor management from you man, sorry, but this game is incredibly f2p
@@YebisuLxckthis mf spittin
Main problem Is that untapped is not able to record data from android devices anymore since months
Spent all my gold to get the spotlight key for him but don't have nearly as many options at level 1200 any advice for a new player to make arishem work without loki or blob
Should i get thena or mocking bird from the shop? I don’t have nocturn either (duh) but Id rather one of those two
Your reviews are amazing, but it seems like Nocturne is a staple in 9 out of 10 decks. It would be great if you could offer us more alternatives to play around with.
Top ten Alex moments of the week!
for the first time i got infinite with a #1 deck from these videos haha
swapped nocturne out for jeff
Why don't Arishem's generated cards match his border or background like Thanos' stones?
I tried that DH deck with WB sub for Sage but it was hard to get vertical enough at times
Maybe have been a skill issue. Honestly but my win rate was 45%. Switched to Surfer bird hawk and jumped to 67% win rate + 21 cubes. But Im a lot more experienced with surfer
I cant get any Namora decks to work, most cases there's always a location that ruins it or an opponents white widow or rogue that takes the wong away
Part of the problem is that we need better deck trackers. I only play on my android phone and the deck tracker stopped working for that and hasn't been fixed in ages.
So kitty pride decks or arishem
guys if u had 6k tokens, would go for Mockingbird or whitewidow.. im missing these 2 cards
Save your tokens because there will be a card that you will regret not having tokens for in the future. If you really want to waste your tokens then mockingbird as white widow will probably get nerfed.
@@Moddox77 thx for the advice
Arishem took us from one of the best and most diverse metas to one of the worst. And they whiffed on balance this week so Arishem winter continues…
Alex why are no bounce decks making the top 10? Also did zoo decks drop off?
What would you recommend as a replacement to Sage in the on-reveal Namora deck? You talked about how people hasn't bought Namora, but often I think the issue is that not many people were able to buy Namora, Sage AND Nocturne, and they often go together
Wolfsbane. If might not go as high as Sage but it does a decent job as a substitute
Wolfsbane is the closest you can get to sage
Thanks, I didn't think of that
I am so happy to be one of the few people that picked up Nocturne, Namora, and Sersei. 😂
In your opinion is Sage better then Blink?
If Arishem get nerfed, I believe it will be something like Hela, where the 12 extra cards will have -1 power
Wow! Only Ben Brodes could invent a new 1-card deck that defines the meta :)
I think Arishem is competitive at top end infinite. But for us casuals he's a complete walk over.
Playing High-Evo Ajax currently and it’s super fun🎉
I'm not sure I like Lockjaw cycling every card played into it each round... before they took him out back with Ole Yeller, I had really gotten used to dumping a stone and Cull Obsidian. It was a great way to get Cull out.
I love this man.
@@outphase78 I understand but I kind of enjoying playing in infinite rank though Im mostly getting blown away since Im learning new cards. Thanks alot 😊
This guy never misses
Thanks for the Namora deck just got her when trying to get beta ray bill
I'm literally only missing mockingbird from these decks I've got her pinned and im not far off the tokens to grab her hopefully with the token tuesdays i should have her by the end of the season
I was using untapped until it stopped working on Android and I guess a lot of people are in the same situation so I'm always hesitant when it comes to untapped statistics... My Windows PC has no idea what Snap is...
Dang I don’t have Legion OR Nocturne! Will like a Scarlet Witch/Quake/Thanos Switch out work? 🧐
Why does it feel like every Arishem player hits every perfect card. I still win often but it really feels like they get every perfect card
Real, somehow arishem decks more consistent in drawing vs normal decks
It was like that but it hasn’t been since the update. Arishem used to give me great cards but it’s been bricking almost every game for me now
Currently there’s just more good cards than bad cards so it happens
It is not only with Arishem. In every online game, your opponent will get much more lucky than you. Laws of nature. 😄
#2 is nasty
I understand the reasoning behind low statistics to remove cube and win rate, however when talking about each deck you would still mention if the deck have a good cube and win ratio, so I feel like there is no reason to exclude the information from the decks. Have the warning in the beginning of the video, but please keep the info about the win and cube rate. Or perhaps add "low stats data" or something when/if needed.
Untapped probably did'nt like that Alex was showing their stats that are locked behind paywall.
@@killum12a58^ the real reason
Is Nocturne the best card in the game? its one of the only cards I don't have and Everyone is running this card. I was trying to save up for Sersi but I guess I need to prioritize Nocturne.
Nocturne is better than Sersi. Even if they nerf Nocturnes power it’ll still be a decent card.
Basically Nocturne is the new Jeff. It almost fits every deck, it is 5 power You can move, while getting it on the board as early as turn 3. It can also reset unfavorable location. It is a perfect support card. I skipped it and now I’m saving tokens to get it. Next on my list.
Cards generated by Arishem does not count for the weekend challenge 🤷🏽♂️
I know because I have drawn it a few times, won the match, but my counter is still at zero 😅
ahh a top ten when I can't build any of these decks no wonder the game is agony lately
What's your collection level ?
@@YebisuLxck high I've just gone 3keys to the wind for the last 2 months on every significant card spotlight
@@malbi885 ?? What does that mean ? What's your cl level ?
@@YebisuLxckNot the guy but I'm 13,000 CL and I'm missing cards in every single of these decks. Doesn't help that Nocturne was downtalked a lot by everyone and she is in literally every single deck lol. But even then it's just Hope Summers, Gwenpool, Sage, Thena in every other deck.
@deliro8758 same w me, but I'll be able to get all of them in about 3 days time, the game does also make you have to gather your recourses and save them, the game is f2p if you just save and use at the right times.
In your defense you've always said your decks are based on untapped which is a fair metric. Anyone expecting otherwise it's on them
Arishem is boring to fight agaisnt all day long 😴😴😴
For the algorithm ✊🏾
Any sub for Sasquatch on the 3rd deck?
Sage
Thanks for the decks!
P.S. Doctor Octopus has been ruining so many games for me lately. I can't stand that card.
Understandable lol
Same
Yeah but when it messes up its hilarious when that guy just kicked himself straight in the balls.
Doc ock is super good rn
I’m running Cosmo and Shang, it helps
Guess I shouldn’t have taken a break from the game. Can’t make any of these decks. Missing 3-4 cards. 😂
I took that Namora deck to infinite this season
Any tips you can give on how to play if effectively? Like what's your strategy without wong?
Also I swapped out Ravonna for luke cage to counter Ajax decks this week
Ask 2nd dinner to release the raw numbers for us to analyse. Ive played a game that developed its own community around that as everyone went to analyse the true data.
Yeah screw this game. Arishem is legit busted and really makes it not fun
Oooo Nova coming out soon big whoop 😂 its not gonna do shi to counter that +1 energy
I think Arishem got secretly nerfed. His power and text hasn’t changed but he stopped generating good cards since the update. It seems like I get nothing but dead cards now.
Every deck I’m missing Nocturne or Sage🥲🥲🥲
The way this video started made me think the site was under controversy or something like someone got canceleld
love ya Alex
"Damn, I gotta put PANTS on!" - Alex Coccia, 2024
Been looking forward to this
I think the untapped statistics aren't where they used to be because of the inability for mobile (on Android anyway, don't know about iPhones) to run the untapped tracker on their phone. I hardly ever play snap on my PC so mobile only players aren't being represented
I'm gonna keep playing Arishem until SD makes me stop. It's fun and strong and the mirrors are wacky
Anybody have a weekend missions deck?
Destroy is not part of the meta?
it's good and playable ;) just like ongoing still is.
Really regret not getting Thena haha.
I've been a Namora playe for the past two seasons! The only hard counter I've encountered is C3 and Junk lol! Thanks for the rep Alex!
It's a huge problem that every single meta deck has at least 2 cards from the last 2 seasons in it. Card acquisition has to change or the game will just drift into pay to win territory.
I'm a bit disappointed with the best decks of this week. Very little variety, basically all the decks had the same cards: Kitty, Angela, Thena, Jeff, Hope and Nocturne
Also this might be the first week that there isn't a destroy deck 😮
Alex ily
This game has snowballed too far to be able to catch up on the series 5 cards. I enjoy the game a lot and will continue. I just feel upset knowing that I don't have widow, nocturne, sersi, ajax, and others because I just did not have the money or the keys. I wish I got new cards from caches at least every 100 opens? lol. Idk, maybe I am asking too much for a F2P. But I have put a good amount of time and even some money into the game and still find that the game is getting harder to track with.
another great video
Glad you enjoyed it!
I LOVE BETA RAY BILL
have 7k tokens. Should i buy nocturne or thena ?
Nocturne is more versatile, she can go in many decks. Thena is specifically better with the Angela/Kitty package. Choose whichever type of playstyle you prefer.
I cam back to the game a few weeks ago and thought that Hope Summers seemed really strong and pinned the card. I now have 6k tokens. Is she worth it? Just feels bad because iv just found out she was a season pass card 🤦♂️. (I have a few decks she would fit in) oh finally, shes not downgrading to series 4 anytime soon?
Very strong card if you've already got the cards to fit her straight into a deck don't think twice
@@Mr_Paw_revised oh wow! I’m glad i got her for 6k today then. Thanks for letting me know
@@TranceVivi Good for You 👍🏻 I think You’ll be very pleased with the quality of Hope. She’s good in Surfer - sometimes this one extra energy lets You play Surfer with Absorbing Man or Nova, Killmonger, Surfer.
Hope also fits in large number of decks, that really like ramp style play. Good luck and have fun 😉
WHY, WHY MUST I ALWAYS MISS ONE CARD
Nocturne
Hope
Blob
Every damn time
I'm starting to hate snap now as a f2p
I refuse to believe that namora and surfer are doing good with everyone using doc oc on turn 3 and a maybe more than one...cause of course they got another copy with it
Man this sucks. I am missing Loki, thena, nocturne, and sage so I can’t play any of these decks. Doesn’t help the fact they are all 6000 tokens
Arishem has enough randomness that its not oppressive.
Love ur videos
Haha Gambit is a joke. The description should read “tries to destroy whatever card you don’t want it to” it’s pretty funny.
Nocturne nerf asap why does a card that can move and change locations get premium stats???
Love your videos Alex! Replacement for Sassysquatch in the Gwenpool deck?
