Yes I keep coming back to this as well. Played the game on my C64 as a kid and now play along to the track on my synth. The melodies are incredible. It's a masterpiece man!
"I have no words for this. It touches my Heart as a C64 Child. This is pure Magic. Just incredible. ,Me too but the music, incredible ...." "I'm sorry that someone plays this damn game so damn well because the music drove me crazy from the beginning, and I just sat there and listened. Although I don't think I would have made any progress even at the 3rd level!"
@@Janobacsi0 Sorry but i never played it past the first screen. It was just this awesome music that struck me. Guess i will it try nearly 40 years later. :)
I never had a C64, but this music is absolutely AWESOME. From my times of Atari ST/Amiga I remember so great composers like David Whitaker, Allister Brimble, Chris Huelsbeck...but will have a look for other music from this incredible Jeroen Tel, what a crack!!!
@@Jacob-st4gz Best is a too big word... For example, Turrican 2 theme by Chris Huelsbeck is a state-of-the-art melody. Same could say from gameplay soundtrack for Shadow of the Beast by David Whittaker... And so on. This Cybernoid 2 music is directly in my top three of all time.
@@victoralvarez2k The two you mentions are great tunes. I am talking about constisancy and overall work. Huelsbeck is great technically. i know all the tunes and composers from the c64 and amiga era. Still. Hubbard and Tel stand out.
Hewson screwed up with this game, they released a demo that had the original Cybernoid music as a loading tune (stop the cassette to hear it all), then one level of the game with the full soundtrack. I had no need to buy the game after that!
One of the best games and sound tracks on my beloved C64! Hard as hell but also rewarding after you did a level. Thank you both Raffaele Cecco and Jeroen Tel!
@@Zetvue What's even more funny is that I've since learned that covers, which this qualifies as, are perfectly legal. You just pay a small license fee to cover a song and you can commercialise it. Who knew?

Well the tunes awesome but the game video... I originally thought this guy/gal had mastered Cybernoid II, however seems they had immortality cheat enabled lol
Jeroen Tel composed and produced this :) It's part of an album he is working on called Tel Me More, which has remakes of many of his most popular tunes.
@@KimRom Well that explains why it's so good and true to form. The only complaint I have is that he didn't drop the drums during 2:30 and onwards. That section is like made to be a break without percussion. Otherwise the track is amazing.

@@TheOnlyToblin I agree, that would make it even better. Then bring the beat back on the next part (3.04). Everything up to that point is just such an amazing build up! A subtle beat cut lead in would make it even more climactic.

This music is... ...something else. I appreciate this more than anything I have heard in the last 20 years or so.
I like that the themes are going back again and again, but they are becoming richer every time. At the end there is literally an orgy of harmonies...
A Masterpiece became even more mastery!
Jeroen Tel is a Master...

From Argentina with my Commodore 64 in the 80's, thank you for this beautiful memory
One of the best compositions from the 80s of the last century for c64
Amiga, Amiga..
Ale to ten malutki c64 pozostanie kultowym komputerem 👍👊
I to na zawsze :)
Ale Amisia też zawsze w sercu!
Easily my favorite game music of all time. So many good memories

Absolutely one of the most best Game Soundtrack for computer and not only for computer. Jeroen you are a Genius!
C64 was just pure joy machine. Nothing after can compare.
This gives me the chills listening to it.. Outstanding
PLEASE PUT THIS ON ITUNES!! I would absolutely buy the hell out of it!!
How about no? It's a remix, the original creator still owns copyright on that. Don't freaking steal other people's work. Geez.
@@TheOnlyToblin the funny here is that the original creator of cybernoid 2 made this remix

What a amazing version !!!!!! congratulations
