For anyone who hasnt felt snow before think of these two things happening in your hand at once
1. The way wet sand sticks together when you squeeze it in your hand
2.the coldness of an ice cube in your hand and you can feel it slowly melt
Very rarely the snow will be too dry to stick together or melt fast in your hand so its more like dry sand texture but cold still
