If you're here for Frap Tools and don't know Cat - GO LISTEN TO HER, she's incredible
This is such beautiful music
Beautiful
Great stuff!
Yesterday Caterina Barbieri returned to the tune she performed here in an awesome performance in C0C (watched this show online - no video of it yet).
It's called Knot of Spirit - was released on spirit exit
New album Spirit Exit is excellent.
Great stuff, could not understand too much how and where the use of usta I guess it was in song mode. It sure sounded beautiful!
Yeah, he performs MAGIC to make it do what you see here with no step by step show how he got to the endpoint. It was just a FEATURES show to sell the thing. Again, I like mine and I recommend it but the manual is cryptic at best and doesn't have use cases in it. Furthermore, Frap Tools put the entire product line in ONE MANUAL! Really? Its a bad business practice in my opinion. Back in the 70s, when you bought a device, you got a manual JUST FOR THAT DEVICE. When my USTA arrived, NO MANUAL! Whatever Frap Tools... I hate to think when you have a downturn in sales or possibly go out of business, there just won't be anything to refer to... no documentation included at its high price point.
Starts at 8:15
I have this sequencer and I like it. However, this "demo" doesn't tell you HOW to do what he did in some cases. The random stage selection. I've had mine for months and have yet to figure out how to do it. He doesn't show you how he did it, was MAGIC on his part and pre programmed for show purposes. You know, when you do these demos, consider starting from scratch and build it up step by step so the user understands clearly. Then you can approach your device and make it do what it is designed to do. How about finally making a step by step demo of how to use JUST THE RANDOM PROCESS CAPABILITY of the USTA. Thanks!
It's at a trade show, so it makes sense he's trying to sell it, not give a tutorial....
I don’t own it yet, but I have ordered it, can’t wait. I think I saw it on their Instagram page, I think you use the cv input to select stage on a track, and for example send random cv or not to it, or any. Assign the cv in to track stage, or what the phrase is on usta.
Hope it helps,
The artist makes nice Music, think you Catarina. But I hoped you would use more the hands-on capabilities of the USTA which is quite a thing ... I keep on learning and may do a demo on My own ... who knows
@@BromeliadBro I agree but one can wish!
@@bobbfett.musiclab That is what I am doing now. I would like to figure out how to do it internally however.
