    I actually laughed out loud at the landing impact sound. I seriously wasn't expecting it to be that funny.

    Sounding rockets are soooo underrated.

    I don't know exactly why that clunk on impact is so funny, but I suspect a childhood built on Looney Tunes has something to do with it.

    Don't know why, but I found the sound it made on impact hilarious.

    Nice job with the titles and supporting animation. Gives a clear story of what happens through the flight.

    It was a Black Brant IX, you can check at NASA's Sounding Rockets Program Office wepage (ID code 36.275).
    Millions? Sounding rockets are waaaay cheaper than that.

    ***** There is no mirror. A rocket engine works by bruning fuel, which produces expanding gas, which in turn goes out the engine's nozzle, producing thrust.

    • @reecewouters1445
      @reecewouters1445 9 років тому

      +Mangey Carl They are essentially the same but apogee is a shorter term for it.

    • @neonknight27
      @neonknight27 9 років тому +5

      +Reece Wouters that is not true. apogee means the point of reference is the earth, specifically the earth. apoapsis is non specific

    • @sepulchrecorpse
      @sepulchrecorpse 6 років тому +3

      Apoapsis is in reference to any body. Apogee is specific to earth (geo). Aphelion is specific to the sun.
