Toby played really good and smooth, as expected from a pro player. I feel like Aylex is taking it easy though, like he's not putting too much effort into winning but rather having fun for content, I think he could have scored more. Also correct if im wrong but is Aylex's footwork wrong or maybe it's just for the sake of this box game? My coach told me that when you lift or clear to defend, both your feet should be side by side, not front and back which should be used for defending net shots.
In doubles defense, depending on play style, some people defend with the right leg in the back for more range of motion. Box game is halfcourt so using doubles defense stance would be better.
It also involves a bit of probability game. Like 4:36, most players will smash straight. Getting left leg behind will give more room to hit better return on that side. If the smash is flatter I bet Aylex could save it.
In doubles, your defending stance points to where the bird is. If the bird is on the left side, your right foot is in front. If the bird is on the right side, your left side is in front. If it's in the middle, you can also have it side to side with one foot forward slightly or something.
Hes a better play than the other 2 ofcourse his coaching-self will come out its not his fault he likes to EDUCATE others on their wrong doings He just wants to help others and he had the most points against the OLYMPIAN have that in mind
I have a problem with the forehand from the boundary line.... the problem with footwork is when I try to chase the shuttle after dribble from a short service line and the opponent returns it on my forehand boundary line.... Most of the time I try to drop it onto the net.... but the opponent is always ready on the net to smash me... so how can I return my forehand to my opponent's boundary line with proper footwork and technique...
why are they on one side of the court? is that some kind of special rule? usually after one serves, you can hit the ball anywhere within the court depending on if you're playing solo or duos.
kid be educated lil bro, when u won just like Provincial, common Tournaments rank 3,2,1 and even national in bronze u are considered yourself Advance bruh he's not assuming but that's what advance players called for
There are things you need to know. 1. Remember, the Olympian is 30 years old, and i think he is retired. 2. Be honest, looking by his skill, I do not think Aylex was a national bronze medallist unless he stopped for some reason. Idk 3. There was a point when Toby's shot hit the baseline, and Aylex said it was out, like what.
Also, they’re playing the “box game” where the boundaries are different. All front shots must pass the service line and back shots cannot pass back service line.
People in here so bitter questioning Aleyx as advanced.. he has national/provincial titles hencehe is advanced.. how many similar titles do you guys have? Quit being bitter, guys..🤦🏻♂️
POV: me at 1:09. I hate when that happens 😭 When u hit it but for some reason the world glitches and thinks that u didn’t hit it. Just bc the world hates u😤
If u ever lift too short for the opponent to hit like that then you should rely on your instinct because most of the pros also do it to return it back(if you do return it back the opponent will mostly loose balance and won't be able to return it back to you)
Alex is who I wanna be when I grow up he plays an instrument ( I play an instrument )he plays badminton I play badminton he's a good chef , I wanna open my own restaurant granted I do wanna do more things but he's awesome. Plus im ASAIN
I highly doubt players like them would want to fly out to Canada just to play with some youtuber who they could easily beat even without using their full power
Bro Toby Ng only using probably his 5% of his power bcus if he probably already used his 100%it will be over for them and Toby will probably only give them 1 point each round
The Olympian movement is so fluid
You are right👈👈
Yamette kudasai🔥
Toby with 0.2% of his power
Toby sorta cracked ngl
Yes toby is a god

Also no, if Toby wanted to, he could've absolutely smoked him way harder + it's half-court box game so Toby can't do as much.
Man won’t shut up when others are playing constantly gives advice and coaching but is trash when it’s his turn, definition of an overcompensator
He mentioned he hadn't trained for 6 years so idk but i do remember his videos he would rank himself as a better player than others..
fr blud had the audacity to coach online with that playstyle
Being good at the game and being good at teaching the game are two separate skills.
does it hurt to give advice ? at least he is trying his best to help others bro

They were playing half court
They’re playing box, only the middle of the court and it’s half court. No front or back line
Enjoyable match to watch
Yall gotta remember before flaming my man he hasn't had traininf in a few years or so and he mostly makes piano videos now
I don't understand why you even play box game instead of a full court match for this video
I love the batminton recket sound 😂.
As a badminton player I might say that you actually have skills like you could beat me in singles but doubles I think you still can
