I am astounded by your abilities to just carrying on and doing it. Hell it takes massive kahoonas to do what you are doing. However to quote a world class driver (Michael Schumacher) who once said "if I was to be lost I would love it to be in Canada". Keep going and never look back. Love everything you do. ❤❤
No I was an ex coal miner, but I'm sure the fishing industry is a lot harder, hope this answers your question, we had a few ex trawler men I worked with in the mines, 😊
The Ocean Dawn is a Hull registered trawler... why is it operating from the north-east of England, and not from Hull. I've also witnessed Grimsby trawlers 'GY' moored at Brixham.
Take dramamine , it's water in your ears that makes you sea sick. Don't bend over. Blow your nose... alot. Pop your ears. Hold nose and blow till your ears pop ! If you turn green ... Get pictures for Halloween. Ha Ha
£150 just for being on his phone and in bed ? i wouldn't of paid him anything considering how hard it is to get a job on a boat loads of us that would love that opportunity and he just disrespected Phil and his Crew big time
It's a privilege in such a shrinking industry, I was lucky to get a job on a charter boat taking tourist out fishing and that was the skippers last season he switched to taking divers out better money and he didn't need me as an extra hand. Anyway it was a summer I often reminisce on fondly and I'd have taken a week on a trawler as a gift regardless of the outcome.
" i've got an expensive lifestyle..." he's got it all wrong. fishing IS the lifestyle! the hard graft is the lifestyle! not fishing for cash to go clubbing in noce clothes!

As stocks diminish fish form larger and fewer shoals before the collapse of the fisherie. Just ask the Newfoundland fleet.

It's not essential to change where the boats registered.

My worst paycheck is USD170.....for 4 days at sea
Todays youth want the paycheck but don’t want to work for it!
RESPECT for Travis though...man worked harder than any 40age people I know...and he's way younger than that age group 😎🤘🤘
@@pajino7116 well that should be how it works. We're you just kidding? Younger people have more energy.

Poor John. He looks so out of his comfort zone. To me he looks more like a university student. I'm sure he belongs among books not on a boat.
Have you ever been on a fishing boat?
