Wow, this has sold me - I'm currently looking for one to buy right now and the Dripex came up. Seeing this really helped. One thing as a shorter dude, what is the distance between the handlebar and seat post? I know the seat can go back and forth, but I've found with a seat too far forward is harder on my knee joints. A shorter "top tube" as you'd say on a wheeled bike is ideal for me, but still having a good range of motion to stomp on the pedals too. EDIT: Ordered one, arriving this week. Can't wait!
@@listicnene5390 Yes, been using it a while. Only issues I found were the toeclips weren't aligned with my feet properly, so I modified them with new holes. The bike is amazing, and very comfortable and easy to use. I also added a Bluetooth cadence meter so I can record my workouts more fully. Hope this helps.
I am looking for a Spinning/Indoor Cycling Bike. I take Spinning classes at my local gym. They have great intensive classes. Love it. Now I am looking for a bike like what they have in the gym for training at home. I have a Indoor bike at home but it is not for Spinning. See I like to stand and do the crazy Spinning movements on the bike. Would this Dripe X be considered a Spinning/ Indoor Cycling Bike? Best regards 😀
Very decent review, nice job, thanks. Looking at buying one of these, this has helped a lot. You mentioned you do road cycling - does this compare OK for indoor training to a typical road cycle (say 16mph average, 30-50 mile ride) in terms of resistance, etc. ? Or would a bigger flywheel offer better comparison? many thanks
Hi Dave, no, the flywheel size is fine, it's a really weighted wheel so whatever the resistance you set it's smooth (nothing like the old exercise bike wheels)
Yes, Yes & Yes. As quiet as they come and it's in almost daily use. Predominantly used by my wife who pulls up a Spinning video on a TV and away she goes. As for recommending it, well it hasn't broken and has stood up well to a lot of punishment.
@@CloughReviews I figgered it out!! Thank uu soo much for responding. The wheel was immobile because of the knob on the tension was screwed all the way down!😄
Join the club 😁. I don't know if it will help the arthritis, but unlike the bike that don't have the flywheel, these are certainly easier to use and far more like a normal bicycle.
Really thorough review - deserves more views.
Thank you for that 👍😁

If I get you correctly, 22 inches from handlebars to front of seat post

Does putting the resistance up help u lose calories quicker
It will make you work harder to do the same. So yes
Please how does it hold up a year later?
Yep, still great after lots of use. Very heavy duty
@@CloughReviews wow quick reply what’s your height I’m 164cm but my brother is 187cm
Is it quite. Do you still have the bike and would you still recommend it.

Great bike, happy to have done it but I appreciate the thanks 😁👍
Thank you..nice review
Thank you for that 👍
Would this hold my weight? 21 stone. 6 foot 2?
Stephen, trust me, this is a really, really sturdy bike
How do I get the wheel to turn?
Not sure what you mean?
@@CloughReviews I figgered it out!! Thank uu soo much for responding. The wheel was immobile because of the knob on the tension was screwed all the way down!😄
What model of bike is this?
The link is in the blurb under the video 👍🏻
Can you stand up and pedal ?
Yep, no problem with that, you can increase the resistance to make pedalling harder and so standing up easier
what’s your height I’m 164cm but my brother is 187cm please
1.8m 6ft. My wife is 5ft 6in
Do you think this type of exercise bike would be good to help with the Arthritis in my knees please?

are you living in a castle :D? How rich are you mate?
Ha, not rich 😁, me and my wife built it 18 years ago, so a bit cheaper that way 👍
