- Two convoys of fire trucks responding with air horn, siren and lights to a wildfire in Los Angeles, CA.
Unfortunately one driver decided to stop in the middle of the Pacific Coast Highway which prevented me from getting into the right position, and subsequently made it harder for the fire trucks to get through.

That vehicle blocking the intersection just because she wanted to turn left so she wouldn’t pull up should have been given a series of tickets. But the bystander that moved the cone should get a big thanks. Of course the FD and PD are used to getting through anyway they can. Great job to them.
Im sharing my missions in Iraaan ❤😂
Glad the moving of the cone was captioned. Wouldn’t have understood what was going on there.
Hey! I remember this fire! It was a pretty large brush fire, especially with the heavy winds by the beach. Thanks for keeping my house safe, LAFD!
Yeah it was really difficult for crews too due to how steep it was, most of it could only be fought from the air.
The LAFD do a great job! :)
That putz in the black Audi ,was issued a $1,000 fine. Should've been $1,000 for every fire vehicle ,he blocked.
Yup! That's about $10k
AUDI- Another useless driver inside
People just don't care anymore they automatically think it's a firefighters Jog and when they something bad happens they just don't care sad world
and with a city that has no personal finance being taught till college? seriously? thats a instant increase in the homeless problem thats already sky high.
should have bloody smashed his windows, what a shmuck
The paramedics and firemen deserve a lot of credit your service and time and efforts are deeply la fd responding great catches as usual way to go love and appreciate you guys thanks job well done you should be amazed and proud way to go ! Joe
Man, it's a hell of a day when the tanker steals all the limelight. That was a sweet ride
It sure is! The tanker was the highlight here.
Who is still watching this video in 2019 ?? This is one of the best videos that were ever recorded.
M, mı
My dad is the chief driving the battallion 9 suburban! Pretty cool stuff!!!
Oh that's SO cool! 9 from Westwood, I love that place.
What a stubborn driver! You mean he didn't realize he was impeding the fire apparatus from getting through?! I suppose he thought their was enough room for the big ladder trucks etc .To get through! Hope he got a ticket for impeding emergency vehicle's!
By the way I really like that Peterbuilt tanker!
I hope he did too. The Sheriff did come and talk to him.
Same that Peterbuilt was ace!
CobraEmergencyVideos - North America So I heard him.
Im loving that Peterbuilt
Amazing catch. I love the sound of Q-Sirens and fire truck Airhorns
Thanks! It's epic the way they scream the Q and blast that horn.
Aaaaaaah I know this intersection from GTA V 😂
Same haha! I was there just yesterday in-fact.
haha cool. Me too, I was there october 2016 :) Had a west coast road trip, was great :D
Is this the gas station on coastal 1 in gta5?
@@SwissPatriot88 feex. Y.
Wait is it really in GTA?
LA is very beautiful. Wish I could visit it one day.
It's a gorgeous place
No you dont.....
I didn't read the description until after the vid... so I was like,"What happened that they need so many fire trucks and 2 tillers!"
Aha ;)
@@CobraEmergencyNorthAmericaone is a task force 63 and the other one is light force 69
You should have more videos like this ! I like the angles you held the camera and it's just perfect
Thank god a elite fire department love you guys
Wow! I didn't know LAFD had ground tankers!
Yup - they do! They have two I believe. And I've caught both lol.
there WT88 & WT77
you caught the other one also?
Water Tenders*
If you request a Tanker you are going to get something else entirely.
@Banadit that depends where you live. Many departments call them tankers still. As an example if you listen to dispatch in the suburbs of Chicago you will here both. Some departments call them tenders some call them tanker. You will here town a tanker 101, town b tender 110 in the same dispatch. In this case I believe LA calls them tenders, but across the country it just depends where you are located.
At that point here if they refuse to move and theres to small of space we will move your car for you and bill you for whatever damages are front end took.
Agreed!
Not sure what country you in, but in usa we will sue you for pain and emotional distress, plus you will for damage to my vehicle.
Michael Lawn Too bad that may end badly for you after the judge dismisses your case and awards judgement for the fire department forcing you to pay for damages and for lost time.
Stewie Vaughan Not how that works. Anyone hit by any emergency vehicle in that fashion could sue for negligence and emotional or physical distress. No emergency vehicle operations course give us the right to plow through cars and trucks. In fact, we are strictly told not to. Comments such as yours are quite ignorant.
@@stewievaughan9841 don't feed Michael, he's a nobody. Just a sue happy kid who would go after his mommy if he knew he could get away with it.
Great catches and rare to see a fleet of trucks. Keep 'em coming.
During summer in CA, you see them mobbing down the highway 5-7 at a time.
And jail for not following traffic laws when there’s a 911 call.
Tough! But fair
No wonder the USA has the highest prison rate in the world.
oh while we're at it, lets have a zero tolerace policy for *ALL* traffic laws broken, that would really solve the bad driver issue then!
unbelieveable.. the fine will put that person into a life of prostitution, because thats what it takes to pay 1000 bucks plus court costs and lawyer fees in the city of los angeles.
@@Zeakthecat boo hoo
@@errant3 ignorance and hate is bliss i guess, gives people power, and a fake moral high ground.
at least finland has a very successful rehab program.
Does anyone know what lights and sirens are anymore
It would seem not :/
Nope
right, they teach them its a warning, get out the way, go right, if you hear horns thats worse, it mean worse your either in the way and your deaf, and your plates are taken and thrown at your windshields, lol seriously tho, the city isnt kind anymore to cars in the way they should start with those huge trucks that tow car in every call, if they wanna be in the way they get there tire flattened or they get ticketed, thats the choices they should get, its costs to be in the way. i dunno just blah right
simple, Yes they DO... But THEY DO NOT CARE.... that's the Problem we have with modern day society full of selfish and self entitled people
CobraEmergencyVideos - North America lol
I've never seen a fire rig like that Peterbuilt.
There's quite a few across the US as water tankers/tenders/foam units and some as engines or other rigs with Vol. FDs but no they're not common. ;)
They're very common in rural areas.
That's true they are!
We have a tanker like that at our fd it's a bad boy
Give this guy a ticket and make him go back to drive school
I know your comments 2years old but in the video if listen carefully the officer in background said "you're being issued a $1000 ticket"
Amazing catches!!
Thanks!
Nice video and keep up with the great work and be safe out there.
1:05 and that tanker truck is beautiful
for US conditions for sure an extremly large convoy, while this could be a quite average large one in central Europe :D
Nice catch!
I don't think so
what is it you don't think so? That this is an extraordinary large catch in the USA or that this is a rather average size of a convoy in central Europe?
That it is an average convoy in Europe
well, back in my home town the standard fire-fighting convoy consisted out of 5 units, the extended heavy rescue convoy out of 6 units, the extended fire-fighting convoy in another city Ifilmed at consisted out of 8 apparatus, and the largest one I know consists out of 13 apparatus which roll out of the same station all at once.
And tw those are no mutual aid convoys which gather at some station and then respond as a convoy of several dozen apparatus, but plain normal 1st alarm roll-outs
Well, you're living in a big city. Average doesn't only mean big city
Those are all beautiful rigs. Stay safe
That’s a nice Weatern Star tanker
The WT is named Water Tender. Awsome vid!
Am I missing something? The Firetrucks were able to get through. The gap in the traffic looked pretty big to me. And I completely agree you're not supposed to obstruct an emergency vehicle, but the cops looked like they were directing traffic. I don't know, maybe the laws are stricter over there than here in Chicago.
I've been in a similar situation, but if you have nowhere to go meaning both left and right lanes are blocked, you stay in place because you don't have a choice unless the cars in front of you start to move.
I wanna say they were responding to one of two thing a commercial warehouse fire or a bad ass wild fire
That forest fire must be really really big
Beautiful convoy if you ask me
All Fire Apparatuses in order
1. Battalion ( chief car)
2. Pumper Truck
3. Pumper Truck
4. Brush fire Truck
5. Water Tender Truck
6. Tiller ladder Truck
7. Pumper truck
8. Pumper truck
9 tiller ladder
10 pumper
11 command
The big help of the public in any emergency is to clear the lanes ..
Nice catch!!
At the end of the video footage you see police/sheriff present just off camera. What the hell are they doing just standing there ? They should be banging on that assholes hood telling him to move his ass so the fire trucks can get thru the intersection. I hope that jerks house burnt down in that wild fire because the fire personnel were late getting to the scene of the wild fire, or at the very least give Mr. A-Hole a tickets for, # 1) failure to give way to emergency vehicles, #2) failure to follow emergency personnel commands to move, #3) endangering emergency personnel and equipment while responding to a fire. Let him explain that to his insurance company when they jack up his premiums.
Actually they did go and speak to the guy in the Audi and they were at the window for some time but they then left just as I started filming the Audi as it drove off. I hope he got a ticket but I don't know for sure.
CobraEmergencyVideos - North America No talking, just ticketing like digester 24 said. Awesome video, very nice tiller truck!
Amazing footage like always buddy. Keep em coming
Thanks a lot pal - I really appreciate those kind words ;)
In NY man man would have been moved and moved but good by a Rescues push bumper.
The 911 call came in as a kitten stuck up a tree.
"Hey fellas, there's some pussy stuck caught up on some wood, who coming? " and the rest is history that became a UA-cam video.
This is brilliant.
Sometimes jo e public is a pain in the ass lol that tender got a lil move out of the driver good video sir
Nice video man
Great catch! If only people would wake up and pay attention.
Agreed!
@@CobraEmergencyNorthAmerica h
Those truck is like a truck from 50's
In Australia, they would've engaged low range 4wd and pushed the black car. (After using Australia's favourite obscenities on then of course)
2:11 $1000 fine....nice!
Its quite amazing how low the blazing sirens can go because European fire engines don't have that kind of siren, they have air horn sirens but I don't know which siren sounds louder.
The US has a lot of different sirens that are really loud and low sounding. European rigs mostly have only one and generally prefer higher tones.
CobraEmergencyVideos - North America Really? Holy crap, so it's like European countries isn't it?
Is this the full video? Or is there like an extended one? I'm sorry but this was too good and i wanna see more.
Sure thing - you can see the full compilation here: ua-cam.com/video/vu0eNMXAvVA/v-deo.html
I hope they gave that guy a ticket!!
My favorite place on a firetruck is the back steering wheel on a tiller truck xd
I’ve never came so much to one video in this little amount of time
Where were they headed? Wild fires?
Yup
Did the guy get pulled over by LASD?
LASD came and spoke to him so technically yes. Not sure of the out come though.
That is so lit
Cool video.
Katie Erickson Thanks 😄
Awesome catches 🚒👨🚒👩🚒
Thanks Sarah!
Good Lord! There must’ve been 12 homes that just exploded!
are you sure that you (the creator) was not blocking their way? :D
pretty sure they were on foot, so they could move rather easily
Just so you know In LA those convoys are called light forces
Central Florida Fire Responses Actually it's just one engine and one truck that are Light Forces. Light forces become Task forces when combined with an additional unit like an engine. And Strike forces when combined with multiple units to respond together to a specialised incident such as a wildfire. Essentially this is two Strike Forces.
Thanks!
Plus, Light Force and Task Force are terms used by the L.A. _COUNTY_ Fire Department. I dunno if LA City Fire Dept uses the same terms, and those rigs in this video were all LA City
LA City Fire Dept definitely uses the same terms, as Light Forces are more common in LA city. LA City has light forces at most stations.
LA County on the other hand only have a few but also call them light forces!
So look Task force 63 and Light Force 69
Does LA have quints, and if so, would a single such rig be considered a "light force" unto itself?
That Truck is Moving
Great Video
How come all the fireman respond wearing headphones???
Does the music calm them ready for the fire or something???
chris treacy They're listenning to
"I need a hero."
Kidding 😂 It's to protect their ears from the sirens and allow them to hear radio chatter.
That's true!
0:54 never seen a q mounted like that
Very very amazing video
Thanks!
lil shot of a tesla there
The "WT" on the side of that large truck carrying water stands for "Water Tender" NOT "Water Tanker." The only time the word "tanker" is used is for air tankers, those small to huge aircraft that can drop water, or preferably retardant. This terminology "WATER TENDER" eliminates a duplication of terms, confusing a truck and an aircraft can lead to some huge tactical errors. Words spoken on radios may not be clear due to terrain, distance and maybe someone doesn't hear "water tanker" or "air tanker" just tanker comes through. All vehicle and apparatus that supports other apparatus are labeled as "tenders." There are dozer tenders, fuel tenders, water tenders, helicopter tenders to name some.
LA CO and LA City, the best! Next.
Great fires of London I have never seen that many emergency vehicles respond to one call before that fire must have been really serious and it requires all hands on deck I wish the driver in that black Audi would just move out the way
Why did the audi stop in the intersection though?
Because he is a special rich fuck that is being inconvenienced by working class peasants like us so he had to protest.
Mx7000 code 3 72" THEEEEE BEST!!!
Must of been a hell of a emergency
1. Coming in hot 🤣. 2. Anyone who has done traffic control will tell you most times it will make lose faith in humanity. People are just that stupid. No matter how bright your best is or your flashing lights. Stay safe!!!
Yup!!! I hear ya.
Was that like a memorial day event or what a forest fire tell me please

Wild Fire with Ladders? Are those the wildfire trucks america use?
They don't seems very pratical for forest.
Wildfires burning close to properties means there's the risk of structure fires. They're there in case they spread to the properties.
Plus the aerial ladder can be raised on them to fight fire from above say up a mountain side.
Thank you by the explanation!
I do not know if you are aware of the reality of the Portuguese firefighters, but here all vehicles are classified as wildfire vehicles, urban fires, car accidents, etc.
But it's distinguished realities by the way. We don't have many buildings highter then 30 meters tall, that's why i mentioned the ladders.
Love American fire fighters in force
