I will admit, from an aesthetics standpoint, I prefer the base party member personas to their upgraded ones. Though it is kinda neat that the motorcycle was a damn Transformer.
Or as I like to call it "Makoto beats Kaneshiro without resorting to an awesome bike persona". Seriously this is the same situation she was hoisted into, forced to investigate students in trouble but this time doing it because for her friend and not just to prove her worth.

I did end up romancing her because of meta implications (fucking the prosecutor's sister ha ha) -and because one of my friends dared me to- , but I'm just salty about how the game made me max out a stat only to find out that the guy I'm supposedly competing against looks like a stoner.
According to this video, it seems you can make Makoto reach rank 6 (20:20 Rank 6), but I have been stuck at rank 6 ever since I reached rank 6. So how do you trigger the scene at "24:41 Rank 7"? I am already past 11/6 Sunday, and I am actually on 11/14! Note that all my stats are MAX'ed up like "knowledge", "charm", "guts", etc. Anyhow, thank you for this video though.

I don't hate Makoto, but her fanboys really grind my gears. I just don't like her as much as I want to, plus maxing your charm to even get closer to her just really rubbed me the wrong way, so by the time I was done, romancing her just wasn't worth it to me. I just see her as a teammate and the team's big sister if that makes sense. P.S. Ann's best girl IMO.
