Question of the Episode - Would you have used Esau Jr. or stuck to the plan we did??
I would have probably went for Esau junior after a couple of items

I would of stuck with the plan because I try to avoid Esau Jr. at all costs!!!
I take as many trash items as possible, so like almond milk on that first floor, then swap when a decent item turns up and permanently play as Esau Jr for the rest of the run. Free flight is such a good benefit plus the trash items hopefully get rerolled into something better.
That early in the run with two guppy items, I would have done the same and ditched Jr.
I would not mind at all if you took a week or 2 off to rest your voice, I'm not saying this because I think it negatively impacts your videos at all, it's just troubling that you have to deal with this for so long. Like I'm grouchy if a cough persists for more then 3 days, and you've had this for a few weeks now I think. We care more about your health then Isaac videos, please focus on yourself first.

Sin, yes I usually use your videos to sleep bc your voice is so calming but your health is in the first place so don't worry that your coughing "interrupts" sleeping. You should worry about your health first.

Sinvicta I'm a fairly regular viewer and honestly you're one of the chillest dudes on UA-cam. I often turn on your videos just to listen to while driving, working, etc to calm my anxiety and I gotta say it works better than music 😄
Take a break if you need to, and if you want to talk about life stuff I know that at least I actually kinda like hearing about personal stuff from time to time. Issac is fun and I like your commentary but just speak your mind, especially when it comes to stuff like this.

Perhaps taking the half price fanny pack before doing the gimpy fire play would have hopefully produced some more soul hearts or red hearts to keep the chain going.

There are so many cool plays with the glowing hourglass. It is very effective at negating bad damage, but I also like being able to do otherwise risky plays knowing it’s reversible.

To answer question - i would use esau jr here immediately - you basically trade all red hp for 2 flat damage, flying and 3 black hearts (you can still get red hp), it is safer to reroll kinda useless starting item (hp upgrade in this instance), for something else. I think it also make sense to use it after first devil deal, where you trade red hp anyway.
Sinvicta forgetting that all his tear upgrades came from chess in that guppy's tail + matchstick episode.

Based on what the wiki says, Gimpy has about a 4.8% chance of paying out with -0.9 luck which is one payout in 20. You would need 20 luck to reach 25%, Gimpy pays out much less frequently than I thought.

Gerd, asthma, post nasal drip are the most common. Menthol soothes the cough once the cough has irritated your airways. Whatever is starting the cough is the start. Then the cough leads to itself later in the day.

I watch your videos pretty much every night to go to sleep, and I have for a couple years at this point. While I'm definitely concerned for your health and wellbeing as that cough doesn't sound too fun, you don't have to feel bad about disrupting us. If I'm being honest it hasn't hindered the "sleepability" of your videos in any way shape or form (at least for me).
Basically what I'm saying, yes please go get that dealt with for health reasons, but don't feel bad about disturbing us sleep watchers, as it doesn't hinder our (or at least my) sleep.
Health first- always. However I do understand (nit literally ofc) how much work it took to make such a streak with daily videos. So maybe shorter greed runs with short captions/ commentary on decisions, instead of "talked" formula is an option?

Sin if you want to get rid of coughing, there is a way i used and it worked, take a tablespoon of honey every morning before eating anything two to three days and it would disappear

Genuine question here that might seem dumb but why if an item has no negative affect and only small benefit why do you not take it? I don’t think it happened this video but if did almost happen with the rib item on mom floor.
I am one of the people that uses your soothing voice for sleeping, personally it really does not bother me when you cough. I also don't think you need to stop talking about your cough, it affects your main income and something you are passionate about, it makes sense you talk about it.

I hope so, too 🥰 I just started learning Russian, partially because I want to for myself, but also partially to get one of my partners to do so as well since his parents speak Russian and we never understand a word they say, but this way we can maybe snoop in the future 👀
The alphabet is SO confusing tho, you know ¾ of the letters, but half of them make completely different sounds D: also, I didn't know in how many places of your vocal cords you can form a g, and how many variations of ch- and y-sounds there are😅
@@studikatzethat's only the first part of the difficulties 😂 It's the hardest language I had to study, since when we came back to Russia, I spoke only my mother language (Adyghe) and German, I was studying it as a foreign language. Reading longer words felt like an achievement on itself, and Russian cursive felt hellish 😂 Not to mention all the cases and participial we have. The worst are the double or single "н" (n) in adjective which also follow specific rules or the numb sound "ь" in verbs 😂
The grammar is hard, but I believe also that if you take your time and learn cyrillic, how to read and the main vocabulary - it'll go much easier. ❤

If the chief concern about the cough isn’t the cough itself, but coughing on the recording, you could just have a hotkey set to mute your mic. Otherwise, get your throat right yk? We’d rather sinvicta’s health over anything
I've actually tried that and it's OK, but it's difficult to use during Isaac. Obviously I need both hands on the controls for the keyboard and trying to catch every cough with a hotkey input while also not taking damage in Isaac is definitely challenging.
