This is the song that got me into modern Indian music in the early 90s. Recently, a South Indian guy I conversed with on a walk got angry when I said I really liked AR Rahman. He informed me that Rahman is not “pure”.

As he lectured me on AR's lack of purity, I realised the real message he was giving me. I was a little upset as I never expected to experience this in UK. Anyway, the music is so good, it calms my soul.

It wasn’t a difference in taste for which mere fools argue, it was a fundamental issue for him. Anyway, take care and be happy.
