Led Zeppelin at the Seattle Kingdome
July 17, 1977
One of the very few fully-filmed concerts. This being the only one (to my knowledge) that hasn't been officially released by the band.
There are slight cuts every 30 minutes or so (for example, a few seconds into SIBLY). That's from when I combined all the segments of the footage. If I had removed those cuts, it would seem like the video is skipping. It was much easier to just leave them in. I hope that it's forgivable.

This is the first concert since the LA Forum shows, the last of which was on June 27th. The band is playing for the first time in over 3 weeks.
There is a higher-quality version of this out there.. This isn't the Empress Valley version.
Frankly, the audio sounds like shit compared to the other version (with high quality headphones)
I would try to post the EV version, but with the UA-cam copyright dudes after me, that would be near-impossible. This video is completely safe, though.
Enjoy what you all can get.
A high-quality version? Know where?
Where do videos like this even come from? I am amazed they exist!
peter grant would have none of this if he were still alive he had zero tolerance for boootleg recordings audio or visual
+joe doran That's where I give points to the Grateful Dead over Led Zeppelin. They had a light-years better attitude towards their fans' recordings, and it was a much better way around the bootleggers.
Led Zeppelin Rarities Thanks for sharing this with us Led Head fans.Never seen this until now!! I remember watching The song Remains the same, since then I've been hooked.
And altho 17 at the time and 1500 miles away............... I should have been at this show. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFCUK!!
The lack of professionally recorded Led Zeppelin concerts is wildy frustrating. Might have to watch Royal Albert Hall for the 3000th time.
😂😂😂
You didn't saw genesis' live recordings. even tho they did not improvise and planned whay they would play the sound is still crappy at some points... this is actually a great recording for the 70' (you dont see 3 hours of video very often). Can you belive thay one of the most theatrical performances ever made on the 70' was not recorded in video (the lamb tour) and zep just kept busting tha bank haha and there is more bands that didn't had enough money to record video
Even a shitty quality recorded Zeppelin show blows any of these "bands" of today. And its only 4 people making playing these songs. No need for 15 muscians hiding in the back. Long live the Zep!!!
I wish there was more pro quality live Thin Lizzy too.
I Agree Daniel 100% - That was all Peter Grant. He wanted to keep everything so secretive & protected. I would kill for some Quality Concert footage.
If it wasn't for my dad putting drumsticks in my hand at about 10 , I never would have gone further to study the thunder god's art. Bonzo was a genius at all levels. I'm grateful to have learned all of his amazing styles. 61 now and I'm still looking and listening to him. Still blows my mind ✌
This video proves that... JOHN BONHAM was and is the Greatest Rock'n'Roll of ALL TIME.
I was there and it was incredible. This was my band and there was no way I wasn't going to get to the show (even if it was a treacherous journey that I did alone). From Canada, as a young girl who wasn't even old enough to drive and had no money in her pockets.
I ❤ U
Me too what an awesome Concert
Absolutely awesome story ✌🏼
How did u get to Seattle and make it in?
I saw Led Zeppelin on this tour. Oakland. I understand there was chaos in between shows, but damn the show I saw was incredibly bad. Just awful. Iv seen all the legends. Led Zeppelin maybe the worst live band of them. Deep Purple maybe the best. The Who right up there with best live bands ever. Early AC/DC and Van Halen hard to beat too. Best show I ever saw, AC/DC, 1979 in Oakland. Deep Purple at CalJam possibly a tie. 🤘
These guys were brutal, playing for 3 and a half hours non-stop without an intermission! I can testify to that since I saw them a month before this show in NYC at Madison Square garden, in one word: Amazing!!
Best band behind the Beatles
Metallica is right up there with Led Zep. They are beasts too and they have been doing it a lot longer than Zep did it.

Thanks for these links to the individual songs. The song labeled "Over the Top" is actually a portion of "Out on the Tiles" followed by Bonham's drum solo. At the end, Plant calls out "Moby Dick!", so I think it should be called Out on the Tiles/Moby Dick or just Moby Dick. There is no song called "Over the Top", I think it's just what Plant said at the end of his intro.

My dad was a huge Led Zeppelin fan, and he introduced me to them when i was very young. He passed away earlier this year and I inherited his ticket stub collection and among them was a ticket for this show. Definitely going to watch this friday night after I get off work. Thank you so much for this upload...
Sorry for your loss, but it is important that you think of him and remember him now. I lost mine so many years ago and I only have a handful of his memories.
Sorry for your loss. Your dad had to be an exceptional man to have the best taste in music. Unfortunately I wasn't "concert age" and never got the opportunity to see them live. So I watch the videos and imagine I'm in the front row.
And those ticket stubs, hold on to those!! For him to keep every one for so many years....well he gave you something that meant a whole lot to him!!

Would have left this one off the set list.
Another great rock concert by Led Zeppelin. I love the 70s. You get a sincere heart felt professional musical performance. Nothing fancy or contrived. That is missing from today's rock sound. Cheers.
What an incredible band.i live in Kidderminster U.K. about 2 miles from Robert. He is the nicest guy you could ever meet . They fully deserve all the praise they have earns over the years. I love this video. Raw no overdubbing, no messing around . True musicians. God they are so good 😊
Must be nice having him as a neighbor.
We should have a statue of him in kiddy!
I was at this show when I was 16. My ears rang for a full 3 days and it changed my life. This video isn't comparable to the incredible energy that took place that night.

Was it really that loud
I was there too. It was amazing.
There was a big thing about how the roof was going to collapse during Stairway. So many people were staring up. It was funny.
I remember about 10 or 11 of us from the neighborhood we all went down to the Chicago Stadium that was some old man standing there he had tickets for sale we scalped 12 of them I believe I paid $80 for all of them back then I was a lot of money in 1977 but you know what it was money well spent these were the gods of thunder the last tour before the great John Bonham passed on never forget that concert they play four nights we had tickets for the opening night I believe it was the second Night with Jimmy Page got sick they said it was food poisoning but we all kind of figured it was a little bit too much partying back then but they were still our idols they were like Gods when they hit the stage I sit back and think wow where did those years and decades go I'm 62 now was 42 years ago but I remember it like it was yesterday
I bet ur deaf from this crap wtf page is drugged up and bonzo is on a stairway to heaven 🕴😩
When I was 17 I got tickets for this show and drove from Portland to Seattle to hear Led Zep live. The tickets were really expensive, $10.00 each, but hey - Jimmy Page was my hero. How could I not splurge? Amazingly enough, the good marijuana I bought for the trip was more expensive then the good stuff I can get now from the local weed shop now that it is legal! I had the time of my life that night.
I WENT TO THAT CONCERT AND THERE WAS A LOT OF HASHISH SMOKING BUT I DIDN'T SEE ANY WEED AT ALL AT THAT CONCERT
Really? I was there, and we had a large amount of Hawaiian.

28 minute No Quarter! Just sick.
It's good to Jimmy out there with his nerves calm, standing still while he's playing, with his weight problem under control, and sober as a judge.
As soon as Bonzo punches into Song Remains The Same he makes it sound so full you would swear 3 drummers were in that band.
During that solo Plant coulda serviced a dozen ladies, changed undies, wrote a new song & inhaled an oz o blow while gettin a marathon groupie Queen BJ.
During black mountain side he had 6 kids, got married 2 times, jammed with Richie Blackmore and recorded a solo album
For sure. Even if 1977 was troublesome for Zeppelin, Bonzo is brilliant.
Ginger Baker said Bonham was, perhaps a "6 out of 10."
nilla003 Baker: interesting drummer, asshole.
I'm tired of hearing that Led Zeppelin sucked live in their later years. If anything, they became more mature and introspective about their art. You hear it in all of their playing, not just Jimmy's playing. Jimmy has been accused of being sloppy, but he is playing from the heart and he takes chances for the live audience to bring them a better experience. Jimmy is a master of going off on solo tangents but always returning to the scale he needs to be in. It is genius. Who plays like this anymore?
Damn right!
I was there. Still a great memory from my youth with my buddy. I still brag I went to see Led Zeppelin! Thanks for posting!
Hell yes.definitely brag about seeing the mighty zeppelin..even the Oakland 77 show.. they last in America. Wasn’t their best show, but it was Led Zeppelin
The best moment 0:00:00 - 3:30:47
sadly for me 3.30.47 was the best moment otherwise it was mostly discordant noise and posturing. unfortunately this must be one of their best live performances as they released it themselves which shows the others must have been real turkeys.

WOW!! thanks for sharing that.. I hadn't listened to the show long enough to catch the rather "improved" second part.
wow, you're right...I read your comment but wasn't expecting it. All the way up my spine.
Yeah I just made a comment on that yesterday. I had to watch that transition like 10 times. Such an amazing moment to a fantastic show. Crazy how long they played back then. Bands nowadays play about an hour and a half and that's it if your lucky.
Exactly. Especially since Robert Plant announced at the beginning that Jimmy Page was suffering from "sleeping sickness" Ha!!
2 days before this concert I flew into Seattle on a British Airways flight from London. On the way off the plane I noticed 5 or 6 stewardesses all huddled around someone in first class. I asked a crew member what all the fuss was about and was told it was Robert Plant. I was pretty psyched since I had tickets to this show. Those guys definitely had as much fun off stage as on. Can't say I remember much of the show. As a venue though the Kingdom had awful acoustics and held more than 50,000. But what did I care. Plus I had had the good fortune of seeing them play Seattle in '75 at the smaller Colosseum. That was an awesome concert. I'll never forget when Plant introduced the next song - "this is off our upcoming album called Physical Graffiti. The song is Kashmir." Ha ha. Good times. One thing these videos don't convey is just how damn loud those concerts were. My ears would ring for days after.
Nobody could improvise like Page, he never played a song the same way twice, amazing, add to that the way Bonzo and Jones never missed a beat wherever he took them is mind blowing. Also, the coolest cat ever, still is!
No offense but i dont think what hes doing in this concert is a good way to showcase that, he could barely play at this stage
His playing was terrible during this era of 75-77 lol. He was heavily into heroin during this period and it shows in his playing. IMO he was already sloppy before his drug use, but during it he was absolutely horrible.. Im a fan of Jimmy but he's such an overrated guitarist. The band members even made fun of the fact that he would go on his 20min never ending heroin induced guitar solos and it got so bad that Robert Plant would openly complain about it to the crowd. Crazy thing is Jimmy and fans think he actually sounds good too lol.

I saw Zeppelin this tour, at The Forum, 1977.. first concert ever.. I was 14
I was at 3 of the 6 shows in 1977 at the LA Forum, barely 15. After seeing Opening night 06/21/77, I had to go again and again. Truly amazing! It was way better performance than this but I don't know if there is any film/video of 1977 in LA. I love to see it again.
I saw this tour too in MD the Capital Center in DC suburbs. Great ness not ever surpassed in my life ... I had the Class queen with me (Kelly) she was the best... wish I was a bit older 9th grade nothing happend hahahahaha
I was at one of the Forum shows June 1977. My dad bought me tickets for my 16th birthday. My 1st concert ever! 3+ hours of pure LZ joy, some good weed & friends. Still the best concert I've ever seen.
1:09:56 God, I love Ten Years Gone! One of my favorite Led Zeppelin numbers 🥀🌺🏵🌼🌻💐
This was absolutely amazing to see live ... my high school sweetheart git tickets for my 17 birthday in April and we tripped the night fantastic to Led Zeppelin in Chicago in 77 ... funny enough Robert had to stop the crowd from throwing firecrackers on that night as well ...but other than that the night was perfect ...they adjusted to the Chicago stadium sound system which was terrible but they made it work ...they after all are Led Zeppelin and I'm so happy to have seen the gods live ... feel lucky to have been blessed to see them in their glory days .... awesome indescribable talent !!!
Ten Years Gone positively glorious, could listen to it on an endless loop forever! The entire band still sounds like the best band in the world here... simply because they were, are, and will always be! "I' m Neva! Neva! Neva! Never gonna leave ya!

Graham Taylor you and I are right at the same age. I was born in 67. Zeppelin was a little before my time but that doesn't stop them from being my main band.
Saw this show in NYC at MSG. Ragged, yes, but loud as hell and the greatest concert I'd ever been to and ever will.
Joe Schlapik joe if you saw this tour then you remember how insane these shows were. I saw mine in May at the Capital Centre and I remember every minute of it. And the video doesn’t begin to capture the visual aura of Jimmy Page. 4+ hours including a 50 minute drum solo. High point of my life so far....
I saw them at MSG too in ‘77. What a crazy, wonderful experience!
Imagine any band playing for 3 1/2 hours these days. Two groups combined don't do 3 1/2 hours. Led Zep was phenominal.
Pearl jam do very long also
Dream Theater does 3 hr shows with no opening act, and RUSH did it for decades until Neil Peart was physically unable to tour anymore
Jamez N. OR Also, I’ve seen more mistakes in 30 minutes of this video than I did watching RUSH for over 35 years!!!
PHISH
Stephen Webb what it cares?
LED ZEPPELIN = pure chemistry.....
as well as talent.... JIMMY and BONZO are telepathic and JONESY just fills the gaps with whatever instrument he's playing....
Despite all the smack talk(pun) about this show, watching the first song "the song remains the same", John Bonham is killing it. Fast, furious, and effortless.
Bonzo is rock solid throughout this concert. Page and his "sleeping sickness" was a bit sloppy. Playing a bunch of notes fast does not equate to a good solo. Also he plays the wrong notes when he he is just playing the riffs. If they had a touring rhythm guitarist and piano player that would have made this so much better.
I love that some say Pagey is struggling and Percy's voice all beaten up. This is rock n' roll. No auto tune, no click tracks, no enhancements whatsoever. It was a rough deal and they were deep into it.
Concert tours, especially in that day, devoured the practitioners. Never got to see Led Zeppelin, saw the remnants that remained a few times. This ain't no Foo Fighters, where everyone is sober and pixies sprinkle fairy dust. This is rough, gritty sh*t, and I love it.
Hell yeah. This stuff, pink floyd, all those great to the early 80s and before to a little in the 90s. Nothing compares to the creativity and rawness of all this. Love it
Your 100% on the mark. So much of everything since is overstaged and over processed on stage and in studio, the obsession of a flawless piece has left everything dead and boring, no spontintanity. I immediately picked up on Zeppelin's stage non-chalent to be the proper live band by just the few seconds before they start the opening song. You can hear Bonzo,Page, and sometimes Jones just messing around with musical punch lines/drum fills before they start up the show. I've yet to hear another band that does cool stuff like that with tens of thousands fans in front of em, and the crowd knows what's coming and goes wild, then Zep kicks in and lifts the roof off the place, pure magic.
yeah mate 100% on that mate this is cock fucking rock !! it aint fucking coldply
Very true. However, this version of zep was bloated and bored. All you have to do is go back in time 6-7 years when they were constantly touring to see how good they were live. They were probably the best live band that ever played. By this time the heroin, alcohol and roasted voice were affecting them and you know who goes with the above afflictions. Yes it is rock and roll but this is not the same band that was touring in 1970. Age, wealth, drugs and booze. In fact if I had a time machine I would not want to see the creation of the world or the dinosaurs or jesus christ. I would go see zep in 1970.
@@rickchyczewski576 Very true too. No argument. That post was for those who complain about Zeppelin at all. Clearly they were a better band early on. Page was pretty much at his height of weirdness in '77 and Plant had just been through hell. But I would have still killed to be there regardless.
A 1977 Led Zeppelin is still good Zeppelin. worse was yet to come.
I am still glad that the concert was filmed.
Like how Zep starts out concerts in front of tens of thousands in a jam/test session. Nothing pretentious or preplanned, then they kick in 1st song, and it's unrivaled heavy groove and soul that's undisputed to this day.
This is one of the greatest bands ever. Led Zeppelin glad I grew up with the rock and roll generation
Though I'm grateful for "Led Zeppelin Rarities" posting this concert in full (and with close to 400,000 hits), the "Empress Valley" version, albeit in two parts is superior. But let's get down to the nitty and the gritty. These boys are the REAL DEAL. Best ever to take the stage. I don't care what people say about a "sloppy" Page. I'll take a sloppy Page and his incredible improvising throughout the show/s over ANYONE (DEAD or ALIVE). Think of how hard he had to play ALL of those songs. Practically every Zep song has an amazing array of guitar riffs and chord progressions that are difficult to say the least. Yes, if he were sober/straight in many of his shows, he'd be better, but HEY - have you ever tried to do anything with fine motor skills while intoxicated? Yeah, right - wasn't happening! Now play for 3hrs hitting note after note with incredible speed and accuracy. LOVE JIMMY IN ANY SHAPE or FORM. And the rhythm section...thank God for Jonesy and Bonzo. They could ALWAYS bring Jimmy back - while Robert waited for that cue. I'm just so happy and grateful I'm a fan and I've got to see them live and find this GEM. Thanks for this GIFT...
TheZepangel A sloppy Page doesn’t even sound possible. His off days are better than most who fire on all cylinders. Unfortunately, drugs are part of almost any successful artist regardless of the medium. You don’t hear anyone complain when drugs are part of the inspiration for most bands first four albums. It always seems to be the first four. The Stones were hot right outta the gate but pay attention to the phase from “Beggars Banquet” through “Black and Blue”. Heavy party phase and it shows in the music. Especially “Stickey”+”Exile”. Back to Zeppelin, I’ve waited 40 years for this and can say it’s worth the wait.
They're still great but Robert Plant's vocals really deteriorated. Nobody can deny that here, and he's lucky he fronts such a strong band to cover up his flaws. This was just later in Zep's years. Plant is still legend, but you can't deny he sang far better pre-1975.
Led Zeppelin was created as a live band (as opposed to a studio band. They had the balls to try nrw arrangements on stage, unrehearsed and often unplanned. Page never played the same solo twice. Led Zeppellin was authentic.
I’d take Led Zeppelin live over anyone except The Who. No one else could lay A FINGER on those 4 guys in concert
Your right! I agree completely!
Page is not sloppy! He’s fast and loose!
He plays what? 10,000 notes a Concert!
Only maybe Eddie Van Halen plays as many notes in a show.
Nobody else!
I mean they would play for 3 hours!
A led Zep Concert was an experience!
I never saw them live but I wanted to bad.
I tried for the Reunion show!
That was my last chance but no dice.
I didn’t win the tickets!
But this show is much better than nothing!
One of the high points in my life, summer of "77" and some Zeppelin !!!
I was at this concert 15 to 20 feet in front of Page. I've heard a recorded audio version of this. i had no idea it was filmed thanks for sharing!
24:00 and on is a great example of John Paul Jones making the band sound great. Jimmy starts going off on a magical adventure but JPJ is able to change what he's playing on the fly to completely match the style and tone of what Jimmy is doing. He's holding the whole act together. Amazing. What a pro.
Sorry but page was not on his game whatsoever this night. Kinda shit if I say so
Jimmy Page couldn't play the same song twice. Robert says Jimmy has a bit of the sleep issue, what a lie Jimmy was a junkie nodding on stage. Loved this band as a kid and still enjoy the music but the talent was Bonzo and JPJ the other two got lucky.
Yes, especially during that sloppy warts and all guitar solo. I wonder how far Jimmy was into his drug problem was at this point in time.
@@phillipanderson7398 he was well into it, I believe he got hooked in 1975, he was visibly emaciated during this tour because of his addiction
@@kevinjohnson5903 yeah Robert said Jimmy had a "sleeping sickness" so we know what that means. He wasn't doing so well during this era. Contrast with 73 and earlier.

Tossing in Achilles Last Stand made this show a must see. Wish I'd caught this one. Yes, it was a bit sloppy, but it still rocked!
Yeah, a few wrong notes, dunno what happened there, but man, Achilles is one of my biggest favorites :D
I was there. Thanks, Ron Costanzo rip
10 Years Gone. Man, this is epic. What a show :I
Bonham was always great.
Especially at 3:12:40
Deron you are so right.
I have this on vinyl LP for the past 40 year. This is the very first I've seen the video of it. WOW. My all time favorite live LZ concerts. Holy crap, they are all in the zone 100%. Thank you UA-cam.
Nah. Jimmy’s playing was WAY off his usual standard at this gig. I’ve heard him play ten times better than this. I’m certainly glad to have this on video, though the light show for this tour looked a lot better in person than it does on this video. When I saw them in NYC Bonzo’s drum kit lit up in different colors every time he hit the skins. It was a beautiful thing to behold. And Page stood inside a twirling green laser pyramid as he played with bow in hand. I’ll never forget that incredible experience.
July 17, 1977 I was here & and saw the Hammer of the Gods @ the Kingdome.
I love Led Zeppelin.....my absolute favorite band of all time! No other band can compare! I wish Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, and John Paul Jones would come to the West Coast and do some concerts!! They need to come back to California, I for sure would go!
I doubt that will ever happen now. They are getting up there in age, after all.
Proud to say I was there. Ears rang for 2 days after the concert... it was totally worth it.
Dammmm
proud???? whatan ahole u r........jeez

I'd be proud to have that on MY resume too.

I saw this tour .......in 77 ....jimmy was on this night amazing the whole band is like jazz musicians playing rock and roll
NEVER get tired of watching Zeppelin perform. I only attended one of their concerts. It was Oakland a week before this one.
Oakland was a week after this one, their final U.S. show ever.
@@typorter-pp6lh You're right. I couldn't remember the date so I looked it up but I used the wrong list. I used the original itinerary that drawn up before Robert Plant's laryingitis forced them to adjust the schedule. The last show was supposed to have been Philadelphia on August 13, 1977 but like you indicated it turned out to be in Oakland on July 24, 1977.
Oakland was after the show. Oakland was their last one in North America. I know because I was there.
love the Zeppelin. The appeal as a kid was hearing the many bootleg versions of live shows and how different every show would turn out. To all you bashers, you really need to lighten up. ... Great video. Thanks for feeding us.

The Gods of Rock n roll !! Jimmy The God of guitar !!
This is the last tour where they "looked" like Led Zeppelin
By the time we see them next they all looked middle aged. But they still kicked ass!!!!!!!!!! Just noticed the date, a week later they play their last U.S. show and pretty much the beginning of the end.
This WAS their last tour. They only played a handful of shows to support In through the outdoor.
they burned candle at both end from 68-80. no surprise they peaked in 75 maybe, flamed in 77, mellowed/winter, 79-80. sept 80, acpital center tickets announced, i was at my 1st hS footbal game as freshman, bonham dead , show of course canceled. had just seen yes there too.
@@brianpoole3484 I think Rick meant their last ever concert of this American tour, in Oakland.
I watched this last night with a few beers and enjoyed every moment thoroughly. Wow, even on a night when Jimmy was perhaps not on top form this show rocks. Led Zeppelin had charm, glamour, brute force and sheer talent unlike any band before or since. Thanks for sharing.
Zep's studio work is untouchable. There is not another band the comes close. Pink Floyd, the Stones, the Who...please. Not even close. That said, the best Led Zeppelin is anything live. Jimmy's improv makes this band the greatest rock band that ever existed and that will ever exist. I love picking up their boots of live shows...the quality does not matter at all...you hear what they are doing and it is magnificent. Their evolution and production of songs, original or lifted, over their 10 years of existence will never be matched. Hard to believe they only existed a little over 10 years... If you ever feel like music is in the pits and there is nothing out there to listen to, pop on a Zep boot and turn it up.
Very insightful opinion...
Comes close? I got to disagree there. But I understand what you are saying. I personally prefer Jethro Tull.
The musicianship on Led Zeppelin's live performances is abysmal. How can you listen to the incredibly sloppy guitar playing on this recording and think it sounds good. It sounds HORRIBLE. Their studio recording are great; but the live stuff is sh!t.
@@andytraiger4079 I saw the song remains the same film when I was a teen. It was wild.
@@rickmerritt128 I watched it when I was teen too. I remember that I liked it just because I had seen so few classic rock concert videos. The only other concert videos I remember seeing before zep was paul mccartney & wings wings over america and pink floyd live at pompeii. Of the three I liked zep the least... even though I really loved zep I-4 albums a lot.
I was 11 years old here in #Seattle. Love Led Zeppelin! My brothers went to this!
And here You are watching it free, up close and personal 😉
*Well almost 40 years ago when I was there on the left side of that stage and I only remembered a few things like that Plant "Acapulco Gold" part and where he said he got his voice back from being in the Kingdome and the last I remember was Page kicking the firecrackers somebody tossed on the the stage in front of him........back when I was only 19......still have that ticket stub here too.....cost me 3 or $4 out in the parking lot from some guy who had a hand full of tickets and back then I didn't have much money.......too bad John Bonham had to leave us.*
*Thats very interesting*
*Indeed*
My father was also here at 18. He tells me the stories of concerts like this. I wish I grew up during this time.

Caught this tour in Chicago when I was 16. What memories
Is that true, that Jimmy was dressed like a Nazi German pilot on stage in Chicago concert?
They are all the best: Page; Plant; Bonham; Jones. The Best Group Of Musicians Ever . No Individual Star. All them are stars.
Amongst the best

Gone but not forgotten that's for sure Led Zeppelin thanks a lot everyone I was 16 when this concert was happening I'm 61 now God bless you all
There were exceptional groups in those days. And before. And a bit later. But since computers took over, it is rare to hear good performers and true talent talent
Can't complain about the quality, we in the UK didn't have access 2 Zep Bootlegs, but awe the same great rock'n roll band the likes will never come aroonds agains
What an awesome concert. Totally worth watching right through despite the quality imperfections. Still gets you right in there with them.

Robert Plan'ts voice is just like a beautiful instrument all in its own. ❤

Best version of Ten Years Gone captured
Thanks for posting this; it’s a huge privilege to see the mighty Zeppelin on screen! 📺 That said, it’s still sad to Jimmy almost literally a shadow of his former self, wearing a voluminous ‘70’s Rock Star Outfit to hide his somewhat skeletal frame. He’s better once warmed up & it’s not nearly as bad as, say, Live Aid, IMO. Robert (who’s happy & wonderful here) would probably call this performance a little shambolic, which is his word.
This does have many awesome moments tho & I appreciate both the length of the show and seeing Bonzo play live makes it clear why he’s the legend he is. What’s with JPJ getting so little love from the camera?🤦🏻♂️ Bass is important, people. His keyboard parts are lovely, too; like with ‘Celebration Day’ it looks like he’s just down having a good time with his mates.
The acoustic/seated section and Kashmir are phenomenal!🤘
Thanks again for posting this and the effort you put into your channel. I cannot believe I just learned this video exists.
Wow! Just getting to see them play Bron Y Aur Stomp live with Jimmy doing some vocals..one of thousands of treats in this show. Just. WOW. INCREDIBLE !!! Decent sound and picture quality AND they are playing TIGHT !!! FANTASTIC upload !!!!
A concert to keep in mind when you think “Oh, I’ll skip this one and see them next time...”
No guarantees in life.
......btw I am only to the 36 minute mark in the video.........funny what it is like seeing this after 40 years and the camera angle is the same as I saw that day.......sure never thought I would be at my paid for home watching this on youtube on my 82in DLP........hell I didn't even own a car back then that I could trust to drive to Seattle..........BUT I still have the 4X4 I got that very summer and the car I got in 1979....great video so far.
the bluesy, jazzy interlude in No Quarter that occasionally dips into ragtime that comes out the other end into its original is brilliant; glad I saw them on this tour in '77 in San Diego. And endless thanks for the labor in getting this video together, a real gem

The band played for 3 hours and 20 minutes roughly, for the price of a $10 ticket, no backup band.
When it was over they all drove by us in their limos.
