Gorillaz was the first album I went to a record store with the intention of buying, that was about 16 years ago. Good to see it still translates to today's youth.

I feel like Gorillaz wanted this album to be unpleasant and foreign to the senses at first, kind of like when you first step into a Jacuzzi and your body rejects the heat, then slowly you start to appreciate all the layers and understand the textures and depth of sound, and you start to LOVE the album and embrace everything in it. I'm happy that Gorillaz can create such an album, it makes you think about music from the inside outward..

I think 2D looks as handsome as ever imo. I never thought he looked creepy but I've always been attracted to eccentric looking people and characters. Besides, it's not his fault his eyes look like that, it's Murdocs. He's the one who crashed his car and caused 2D to bust his head and/or face twice which led to his 8ball fractures in his eyes. So, yes, 2D does have eyeballs intact, the blood vessels just all broke. No, they're not sunken in.

I'll wait for the day it comes out. I'm not actually excited about this one. They haven't put in as much effort to build it up and the tracks I've heard so far haven't been their best. I'll still get the 2CD edition for my collection, but I'll probably not listen to it much.
