I feel lucky that my mom & both grandmothers were in the union, so, I grew up with my elders passing down progressive thinking & caring about one's neighbors (of course, I do have a conservative brother & a few uncles & we love em just the same, lol). But it is a HELLUVA thing to overcome long-lived beliefs! It's so hard for people to look at things with a different perspective without letting bias get in the way! That's something to be proud of!

This is the kind of action everyone steeped in politics needs to act on, the press, you’re the fourth estate, hold them accountable...at all cost. Reps. Do as they do when they get away with breaking the law, but do it in what Michelle Obama stated in her speech, “When they go low, we go high”. They are conducting in lower parts of our democracy, so we must get on high to end their overt wrong doings and goings on. As Americans who know right from wrong, we need to vote trump and his administration out. There must be a way this type of crookedness must not be repeated, where dignified people take office, no matter the party affiliation, but for knowing what is right and what is wrong. Any politicians aren’t honest, but none should ever be like trump and his administration; before, now and to come.

actually, Dejoy has like some sort of investment with amazon and since amazon does 40% of its deliveries with USPS, having insider USPS info would give Dejoy an advantage in making good investments (its also illegal) They are saying, that with Dejoy as Postmaster General, as he has all the insider info about the USPS, he would make his decision on future Amazon Investments
Not quite. Amazon gets a great deal from USPS so it's not in their financial interest to destroy it or make any changes at all. Talaib is making a big deal out of his interest in them as a conflict, which it is, but DeJoy is invested in USPS competitor XPO to the tune of up to $75 million. So it's good for him financially to wreck USPS as well as being good for tRump because.... when turnout is high, Republicans lose.

Her ability to hone in on the conflict of interest when he tried his double-speak about "I don't own ..." is absolutely awesome. She just moved beyond and nailed him. Brava!
I’m not sure what his investments are, but if it’s covered calls like she said then that is a lesser conflict of interest than she’s implying. A covered call means he owns the stock and sells a call option. It’s a bet that the stock price will not rise above the option price (strike price) during that time period (expiration date). What she was saying would make more sense if he was buying call debit spreads, that’d be a hedged strategy that benefits from the stock going up and would not have an underlying stock component like DeJoy was saying.
Regardless of that, he’s killing people who get their medicine in the mail and is attempting to manipulate our upcoming election. He should be imprisoned for negligent homicide and treason.

I know the channel name makes them sound like idiots, but they created the number one consumer trading platform that they later sold to TDAmeritrade (one of the largest online brokerages). They have decades of institutional investment experience, and their videos can walk you from know-nothing to moderately proficient. I learned more about actually trading from them than 4-years of university finance courses.
If you consider it, start with Mike and his Whiteboard. That's where they explain the basics, but the podcast segments are where you learn how to apply that knowledge.

Robinhood has no trade fees and all of the legal certifications of a legitimate brokerage so your account won't be eaten away with fees or scammed into oblivion $250,000 is protected by the government. If you can only put $20/week it can still add up fast with compounding interest, but I wouldn't recommend starting until you have at least $250.
Example of why so little works:
Call credit spread using SPY (S&P 500) expiring 9/18/2020 as an example:
You sell a call with a strike price of $363 and buy a call with a strike of $364. Using today's option prices, you will make $14 immediately, but $100 will be held as collateral since that is the max loss, your buying power will go down by $86 until the position is closed. For $86 you can make an investment that has a 16% ROC (return on capital).
In this case ROC = credit paid to you / collateral held
If the price of SPY stays below $363 you make all 16% as profit. If the price goes to $363.14 you breakeven. If it goes above $364 you lose all $86. This investment currently has around an 84% chance of being profitable (delta approximates the likelihood of an option expiring in the money at expiration at that current moment). That's not the definition of delta, but it has a strong correlation to that result.
Granted, I wouldn't make this trade since you want to have at least 30-days until it expires. Tastytrade will explain why, but there's good reasons for it. I just used that example since it is one of my current positions (I opened the position 3-weeks ago).
