Your talk about it being a prequel is really interesting, because King Krule originally released these tunes as flexidiscs at his shows before Space Heavy was released (I think around the time he announced it?) - but with this EP they've been reworked and added to to varying extents. So prequel/sequel is spot on :)

AVAA King krule is one of the most criminally underrated artists of all time. Dont think he’ll be truly appreciated until he’s dead unfortunately.
AVAA! When I first listened to this EP it was 3 am and I was watching the cloudy sky light up because there was a lot of cloud-to-cloud lightning happening above me. But there was no thunder which kind of fit with the whole vibe. No storm just gigantic clouds flashing every 2 seconds :)

You mentioned the pixies. He has done interviews and mentioned his love for them when he was younger, he’s covered wave of mutilation and I believe his daughters name is also taken from this song.

I just binged so many of ur videos. Plsss check out rod wave. My favorite album of his is beautiful mind. He is a rapper, but uses his beautiful singing voice often. In ur xxxtentacion video u said u like the direction black men in rap our taking where they are more vulnerable and are more accepting to emotions. Well then you will love rod wave because he is the epitome of that. Pls check him out, i will spam ur comment section
