My version.
Garlic, onion, a piece of ginger.,
Saute and add squid meat. Then add 1tbsp Oyster sauce.
After, then add then sauce from the can.
Let simmer.
Add black pepper to taste. Done! Sarap!😁
I like squid, but i hate the insides.
Youngstown and zaba must give u money. Ur doing a extremly good job for them
It's sad that Saba Salmon has long gone from store shelves. So I make do with Saba Mackerel, simple ginisa with talbos. I tried this canned Saba Pusit once but didn't like it's taste & texture. But I'm going to try Mr Bulbul's recipe invention since he swore by how good it tasted. Now I'm hungry😁👍
Mr. Bulbul go do this next time. Promise, it will be more delicious.
1) Saute garlic, onions and bell pepper
2) Add the contents of the SABA can.
3) Put 1.5 Tbsp vinegar, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp water, 2 bay leaves and 1.5 tsp sugar, ground pepper and chili flakes or powder.
4) Simmer 3 mins
5) Eat
"It look yummy but it's not adobo"
You had it coming Mr. Bulbul! 😄
i miss that. we usually had that before for lunch. just sautee it with onions & garlic, & a little oil. it's simply delicious. my mom even cooks pansit using saba squid as the main ingredients for flavoring.also good!
Sarap 👌
You should add the vinegar while you are cooking the adobo mr.bulbul. It makes the vinegar taste better
Try SABA mackarel then add sinigang mix, add chili pepper. Let it simmer a while.
Instant sinigang na mackarel.
"savor" did the magic
This is good, keep it up Mr.Bulbul 💕
Sir also try other saba canned seafood like saba mackerel n.oil, salmon, rosebowl sard t.s. thanks for trying the product.
Natakam ako a. Gusto ko tuloy magluto ng adobong pusit.
sarap.
I love cooking adobong pusit using fresh bought once. That product on the other hand has a stench that I can't tolerate.
Canned Squid is always available in many groceries here in the Philippines. I don't understand why because I only found one buyer of that product here once in my whole life.
I'm thinking a while ago
"Just one squid in a can?"
Rethinking about it
"How would too many squid fit in a can?"
That's a nice deal
Reflects how Filipino love to share more food to others.
Mr. Bulbul, can you try Primera Light Brandy on your next videos.
awesome cooking!👍
loved watching this :D
you have great content. thanks for sharing this with us.
always love watching filipino creators
I was wondering why front camera seems dark? maybe settings u forgot to adjust? or you forgot to edit? anyways it's a nice video. I should try your recipe haha it looks yummy :D
Looks yum!
I will try this recipe
Now im craving for adobong pusit
haha sarap naman po..dahil nagutom po ako mr.bul, maraming de lata kaso alang saba squid😅, pag tapos sumipra🎸..walang magawa eh quarantine, kain ulit 🍛😂
Mr bulbul i suggest sarsyadong sinuuban for your next video plss notice...
Personally, I haven’t tried the Saba squid in can. I eat squid, but its not something I would crave. This became like the sardines video for some reason.
I also heard of a fermented squid banchan, but I haven’t encountered it yet, same with lotus root.
Does it taste like the normal squid? Or it has this canned / artificial flavor?
Try SABA Mackerel.
You can add some sugar and it would be more delicious.
I love that de lata squid. If the squid is small but when its big. Theres a taste that is very bad in your tongue.
Doesnt matter how you cook it or how it should look like. Whats important is it is edible.
I try this before SABA SQUID is good 👍😋😋😋
Hyungnim..aja aja...mani sol mogo...lol..idol..
when you cook and put some vinegar, dont stir it.wait for 3-5 mins to cook the vinegar

맛있는 delicious!
We ❤️ u mr. bulbul!!!!
And family!!!!
good day......you should try the real adobong pusit ehe....take care there
That could also be called adobo Bulbul version.
im looking for that video of korean-filipino couple with mr bulbul...wonder what happened???
For some families that amount of viand can actually feed at least 3-5 (6Max) people due to the savoriness of the sauce. :) You just got to have lots of rice. 😅
If I was Mrs. BulBul, I'd probably eat half your plate if you only made one hahahaha. I love adobong pusit!
A eureka moment!
I cook adobo in a rice cooker, I'll do what I want 😜
Add tomatoes when you saute..use sinigang mix instead of vinegar:)
You should let it simmer for 5 mins after you put the vinegar to evaporate the acidity. (DO NOT MIX AFTER YOU PUT IN THE VINEGAR) But after 5 mins of simmering you can mix it.
Btw. I really want to try that lol.
Bulbul you look like kim jong un! :D
Masarap 😁👌
Mr. Bulbul it looks like sisig
Hello!
Using pusit in canned is not good for cooking adobo coz the taste of it is already sweet and already marinated.. u cannot get the nice taste of pusit in adobo.. so i recommend use the fresh pusit..
Never found this in my local grocery.. How did it reach Korea 😂😂
same man =)
I just recently found out while I was looking for corned beef. I myself was shocked to see that there’s like a product that actually exist. Surprising.
Omg you guys! What year you were born? When I was young, my mom usually buy this one.
it is actually for export market...i seen that in middle east before...but it is also available in select philippine markets recently...
"adobo in a frying pan, I'll do what I want" 🤣
That was our dinner last night, coupled with veggies and kimchi.
Adobong tamad mr bul bul 😂
I'm filipino but i never really liked that. My father would cook it every now and then and i taste it everytime but never gone for a second time. 😞 im failing my culture
Don't worry, you can kill people!
@@laifuthelife8483 huh?
@@lugsborro what do you mean 'huh'
@@laifuthelife8483 what does your comment mean i didn't get it sorry...
Lol
And I'm even cooking adobo in frying pan though. There's no such way of where u can cook it like u can cook it as long as u r comfortable whether in a pan or kaldero.
"Don't cook adobo in a frying pan."
Me: Cooking any food that I want in a frying pan
Wow you did a great job! ☺
SABA is one of our fave food here in the Philippines and we're happy that you really enjoying our unique foods, this is the first time i saw squid adobo by Mr. BulBul ( second Filipino Father of us ) 🌈🇵🇭
But di ko pa ntry
Anything with Maggi Savor is addictive 😂
msg is the secret ingredient
Squids, Shrimps and other Crustaceans have high levels of natural MSG like mushrooms and tomatoes in vegetables.
The flavor/umami was further elevated by the Maggi seasoning.
04:52 "oOhH yeAhh!!"
Hahaha! I'm also cooking adobo in a frying pan. 🤣 Now this makes me hungry even more 🤗
Love watching your videos! Taste is always subjective, as long as you enjoyed what you've made. More power sir! Be safe!
doesnt matter how u cook it as long as it tastes delicous, everything is just the same when inside the stomach 😂
Yummylicious Yan Mr. Bulbul! Masarap Sa Kanin! #EwicMukbang 😊✌Watching From 🇵🇭Philippines🇵🇭
Try it with fresh squids. Theyre much more delicious than canned ones
Vinegar gives more flavor and taste while its hot - congrats Mr. Bulbul
Sakto! That's our ulam for today too and I'm cooking 😆✨
You can actually smell the food by just watching it.. Mr bulbul has done it again 😎🔥🔥
why??!!
And now im craving this... At 3am. 😂
u forgot the kamatis (tomato)
Good job on experimenting! Really looks delicious
Now i'm hungry again lol
Mr. Pubic Hair.
i wanna try this!
great video! 😍 loved watching it, but now i am super hungry!
thanks for sharing this and more power to you!
Hope you continue creating great content 🇵🇭🤯
This is my favorite can of adobong pusit. 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍Tastes better than 🇸🇬🇸🇬🇸🇬🇸🇬🇸🇬🇸🇬🇸🇬🇸🇬🇸🇬🇸🇬🇸🇬🇸🇬🇸🇬🇸🇬🇸🇬🇸🇬🇸🇬
Ayam Brand Sardines and Ayam Brand Mackerel.
The only reason it taste that good is because of your cooking skills🥺
Yep, it is not authentic Adobong Pusit. But hey, it is your palate that will enjoy your cooking. Thank you for appreciating Filipino food, Mr. Bulbul.
Kamsahamnida. :)
Amazing discovery Mr. Bulbul.......enjoy the meal
Oh mr. Bulbul u already have 200k subscribers. I told u before back when u only have 25k to 30k something that u will have more. Keep safe
Mr bulbul. Please try the KALDERETANG KAMBING
Make it a little spicy too.
Please and make a video its my #request please :)
You will love it
its READY to eat depends on you.. if you want more spices or ingredient you want to do more not a problem.. i usually open the can and reheat it with chilli then its done for me.. I ADD FRIED TOFU FOR pulutan in a sizzling plate with a sisig twist😍😍😍
SABA squid is also my favorite. Simply saute it with garlic and onions and boom you have a good dish already... Try next time SABA mackerel in natural oil. The most yummy canned fish for me.
There is no authentic/original adobo in my opinion. Philippine cuisine is based on the available ingredients you have or ingredients you have on your region. You can cook adobo with any sour agent you have. Or you can substitue soy sauce with oyster sauce just like I do with my Adobong Sitaw. Same goes with other Filipino food like Sinigang. You can use tamarind, kamias or guavas. But you can still call it sinigang.
The texture is different in can. Much better if adobo fresh squid. B t w, I am a new Filipino fan and I feel uncomfortable with your name!!! LOL!!!!
Entertaining. Except you doing drinking liquor • its really good to see you loving filipino food. Hellos from Dubai!
Nice Mr. Bulbul! Pwedeng pang pulutan!
I enjoy watching your show .i always check if there is a new video since i probably have watch almost all your vlog.good job .continue to entertain people.happy eat watching.
you can add tomatoes.. try also saba kare kare . kare kare in squid flavor.. very delicious :)
The bad thing about using SAVOR for adobo is that you get a lot of MSG. Savor is supposed to just be used sparingly on cooked mat dishes, if at all.
Will have to find Saba tomorrow cos of this post 🤣
Adobong pusit taste so much better if created from scratch. Those canned squids already have their own seasonings. Must use the small pusits :)
Adobo pusit using fresh squid is better but I'll never say no to adobo using canned squid ! We make it super spicy to mask the "canned food" taste
Im gonna try cooking this Ádobo v Mr BulBul. Thanks for the recipe. 😁
Adobo like any other cooking is subjective to taste.. if it tastes good that means you've done a great job. That adobo looks so delicious!! good job!! keep safe!
You should try the big can of SABA sardines. Its freakin good!
I love the spicy one of SABA Sardines
My parents would always say to not mix the food just right after you put vinegar. It makes the food bitter
그래서 필리핀 음식이 전반적으로 식초처럼 싸워한 맛이 나나봐여... ㅋㅋ 맛있어보여요...!
