A younger Stipe, like even the one who beat DC, would beat Jon. He is the nightmare matchup to Jon. He can wrestle his ass off, and hes a great boxer like Gus but only hits way harder(Jon has struggled against good boxers at times) and Jon in the past had trouble w guys near his height and reach. And Stipe has lost to 1 shot KO guys which Jon isnt that. But Stipe is too old and damaged at this point i think. To bad the fight is off. And i know Jon aint fighting Aspinall or Pavlovich so we will have an interim Champ and watch Stipe(who turned down the chance to fight for the interim title) still get the shot against Jon all bc thats likely the only guy Jon will fight. And then they will both retire and Tom Aspinall( who would destroy Jon and will destroy Pavlovich) will be elevated to Undisputed Champ
