Great job on the mount, gave me a great idea. I am going to jump in on upgrading the speakers at least for the stereo and see how that goes, probably not surround but something way better than what was put in originally. We have a 310RL. Awesome DIY we ended up putting our sound bar with tie straps under our Tv thanks for the tip ! We just recently became full timers so we are definitely always looking to maximize space ! Hope our paths cross someday where are you guys this summer maybe we could meet up sometime!

Been following ya'll for a while. Love the enthusiasm and DIY mindset. We've got a 310RL and have the same issue with our TV area. How did you remove the TV from the factory mount? Have not been able to find a way to do that. Once I do lookout! Thanks, Bill ... an old retired Navy Chief.
First of all thank you for your service Bill, Chris is an Air Force Veteran. The TV slides straight up, it’s in a track. so if you get a hand under each side of the TV & just wiggle it & push up towards the ceiling it will come out of the mount & you can pull it forward out of the stand.
On our 310 I had to flip the lever on the bottom of the left vertical mount piece before I could lift it off. You can see the lever in the video at the :13 and :30 mark.

Is that solid wood? I guess what I mean to say is, when you put the 10 screws in did you have to look for wood or did you just screw it in? Did the mount come with enough screws? I'm picking one up at Harbor Freight tomorrow and will i stall in our 340RL.. .......Looks great!
There is a backer behind the luan wood that we crewed into. The mount did not come with enough screws. We added self tapping screws to make like a little easier. We have had it up for over 18 months and no issues whatsoever. Grab. A long roll of Velcro to wrap around the arms and the front of the TV. That has worked great to secure it in place.
Yeah.....lots of saw dust!! Install went well thanks to your video. We like the versatility of that mount and the ability to use the wasted space behind it. Thanks!!

I haven’t started living on wheels yet but definitely love this idea. Can’t beat having the tv on a swivel.

Nice set-up as RV speakers and TV speakers stink. Don't pull your TV out too far or you will block the upward firing Atmos speakers on your soundbar
