Poor Mrs Buster! You know she was devastated to lose her husband. And great to see reactor actually recognize the fabulous Lauren Bacall! The kids never do, so way to go Mom! The book the movie is bssed on is just as riveting.
I absolute love this movie! Seen it a bunch of times, first time in the theater. Classic Stephan King, the actors were great and the storyline?! Absolutely terrifying but not in a supernatural or gory way. It's more suspenseful and realistic to how crazy and obsessive people would react. The hobbling made the whole theater scream! Lol
2:00, you kidding me Storm? It would be awesome! In fact this movie and a smattering of other King books are what inspired me to hopefully become a writer myself!! With a good level of English taken already at jr. College, currently studying Communications at SJSU!
Kathy Bates won an Oscar for her role. You should watch her acceptance speech. It’s funny. My Dad showed this to my brother and me from a Blockbuster Video store Another claustrophobic thriller where the protagonist is confined inside a building is WAIT UNTIL DARK. With the lovely Audrey Hepburn. Through a series of events in the prologue, a doll ends up in a blind woman’s basement apartment. It is stuffed with heroin and three crooks want it. What starts as a hustle gradually evolved into a nail biting battle of wits and an intense home invasion. There’s even a jump scare or two that will make your hearts burst out of your chests.
I was just wondering today what happened to that Storm Akima channel for reactions, I was subbed and for months there was no videos. I found this new channel and im subbing again because I love your reactions. Misery is one of my favorite Steven King movies. Kathy Bates was incredible in the role, she still creeps me out every time I watch the movie.
I was either 17 or 18 when I read the book! Trust me when I say this for that matter, if you intend on reading the book, just try to be prepared for it. Because this right here is like an episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse compared to what happens to him in the book. Trust me!
31:17, and actually, ma, there is some detail within the book. You're right storm, he was found due to Buster being killed there. But in the book, after the 'torture' scene, he is eventually found by a young State Trooper named Dwayne Kushner, who Annie, of course kills, and in a different way. In the end of the book, he is found by two other state troopers named Wicks and McKnight.
In honour of Maggie smith who passed away here are some films of hers for you guys to watch. THE SECRET GARDEN, HOOK 1991, NANNY MCPHEE RETURNS 2010. RIP MAGGIE SMITH FOREVER OUR PROFESSOR MCGONAGALL AND HEAD OF GRYFFINDOR HOUSE 🦁🪄.
1. A mustang isn't a very good vehicle to drive in the snow. 2. Red flag #1: Anyone that says "Oogie" 3. The way she responded to the fire in the BBQ pit when he threw a match on the book: What do you expect? 4. In the book Annie chops his feet off (not just hobbling him). It IS Stephen King after all. 5. Kathy Bates won Best Actress Oscar. 6. Rob Reiner is a great director but, it's too bad he's a CPF.😭🤬 7. King wrote this because of a deep-seated fear of what overzealous fans might do. 8. RIP James Caan 😇 9. FWIW Kathy Bates recently announced her retirement.
This is the first time my boyfriend and I saw Kathy Bates in anything. After that, no matter what he sees her in, he cringes. 🤣 I think this is a particularly scary movie for men because she emasculates him. Don't normally see this in movies.
The director pointed the camera looking up at Annie. That way the audience see's through Paul's eyes & feels his pains & fears.
Green Goblin : "Misery. Misery. Misery, That's what you've chosen, I offered you friendship, And you spat in my face."
Would Norman be afraid of Annie, Annie of Norman, or would they be a match made in hell? 🤔
@@darthken815 I think Norman would be afraid of her but Annie & Green Goblin would have a hell of a time!

A classic definitely. Kathy Bates is iconic in this and James Caan gives also a great performance
Well Deserved Oscar for Miss Bates ⭐️☑️

She is AMAZING in everything I have watched. I first saw her in Deloris Claiborne and I was so impressed!
"He didn't get out of the cockadoody car"
Thank you guys so much!
“Cockadooty!” 😂
“You POOP!!!”
Kathy Bates won an oscar for this!
I read an interview in which King said Annie Wilkes represents his battle with addiction.

I second that, I'd love to see them react to It Follows, I think they'd really enjoy that movie. It's so good.

If you think that's good, you should buy the book. It-'s MORE graphic, more descriptive.
