I am using this nowadays. It's amazing. I got numerous compliments on this. Remember I didn't get any recently while wearing aventus, MB explorer and DG Light Blue. Very classy, fine, fresh leather and wet bamboo type fragrance. The opening floral citrus disappears in 5 minutes. I have been wearing this in office and people tell me it has a great subtle and classy scent trail. Highly recommended!

I recently got Armaf and gave it away because it was way too loud for me. I gave it to an older friend. This one is a little more ‘light hearted’ and fresher. It’s cool to just have this one in your bag for reapplication.

okay . so the bottle i got . lasted a whole day even after shower. it latched on my skin better than ANY Chanel that i own and love., and there's agar wood which gives a kind of oud vibe. why is your take so different. also , my bottle cap is magnetic.
I bought this perfume for my bf's birthday because he's not much of a perfume person, and it's not too heavy, especially with how long it lasts. Definitely agree with the opinion that this one's more likeable in comparison to the standard Vibrant Leather. :)
Bought it today in 60ml bottle, edp version. A beast. I don't know if it does smell like Oud, but I enjoy it very much. I also got "Water My Emotions" with Tonka/Moss/Amber. (Fougere / Woody). Absolutely fantastic.

If You had You would be surprised. It was the best one that Next had to offer. (Modern Green) It has been discontinued but as we know Next makes great dupes or inspirations as ZARA does. Great review. Very honest and truthful. It feels like a bit of a sham from Zara to name it "Oud" yet no Oud present. I've never tried a single Oud fragrance, not even one like this that has it in "name only". I also haven't had any Zara fragrances. I might order and try Warm Black, and I was considering this to get to try Oud for the first time but nah. Zara seems fishy and sketchy, I know they're super affordable cheapies but yeah.... We need some GOOD quality clones with mid to high end designer pricing, GREAT performance, and GOOD quality ingredients (notice that I said GOOD, not AMAZING like Tom Ford).
You'd have to be incredibly naive to think that any Zara oud fragrance would have real oud in it for less than US$30. Many expensive niche oud fragrances don't have real oud for 10x the price. Oud is an incredibly expensive ingredient that will be reflected, at the least, in the price.
Great review Steven, bugs me why so many companies put Oud in the title when there's no Oud in the Fragrance, don't think I'll be picking this up if longevity is that poor, atb Lee
I know this is an older video but have you tried any of the newest offerings from Zara? The have a new siganture oud line they recently released all created by Alberto Morillas. Virtuous Oud, Blooming Oud, Elevated Oud, and Memorable Oud. I purchased the Virtuous Oud because i felt it was the most versatile of the four. Reminds me of Acqa Di Gio EDP in with a hint of oud.

The scent is very nice,mature,classy. Leather and woods are here done on the very manly side in my opininion. The only thing that is sad is sure,perfomrnace,but is cheap and you can use it more time daily. Versatiliti is i think very good,office friendly.Age 35+ I got that old school manly vibe with this more than date,teens,club.

I used Penhaligon oud but I could not find it in my country at an affordable price. any advice for really affordable ( around 60$) or (50 EUR ) perfumes that smell like this one or like Penhaligon oud? I bought the set and I completely agree. The Vibrant Leather has more of the Aventus opening throughout the entire short life of the scent and I find that maybe they were trying to get more of the smoky Aventus vibe out of the VLO. VLO does last a tad longer that VL and overall is a very nice fragrance. Love the video my friend.

this fragrance has one of the best top notes i have ever smelled, *BUT* , there is virtually no longevity here. I'm really surprised to hear you say there is more longevity here than Vibrant Leather EDP because to me this is WAY worse than VL EDP the longevity and projection department for me. VL has fairly poor longevity as it is, but its "workable". VL Oud lasts me about an hour before it becomes a skin scent.
testing Zara's Sublime Cedar I also noticed a similitude to Sacred Wood by Kilian, just a bit more musky and incensy imho. Btw it's a good scent with a decent longevity and projection

Hey Steven, I've heard the 2019 version of vibrant leather has lost it's strength.. I hear the bitch note and bergamot are bearly noticeable in this 2019 release do you know if this is true?
The 2019 was weaker but the decants were very good! They just released a new "limited edition" vibrant leather and it's abit stronger then the 2019 juice. But one thing I learned is you got to give vl a few months to mature 🤔 why I don't know but my bottle from October 2019 is lasting longer now then it did when I first bought it
@@jahvaults6500 I was going to write the same thing. The 2019 bottle of Vibrant Leather edp I bought in the middle of 2019 seemed somewhat stronger in performance near the end of the year. It's possible Zara isn't letting their essential oils mature before creating the mixtures. The bergamot feels more portent months after the first spray. The 2018 version had very good performance. Another difference is that Zara changed bottlers in 2019 to Mixer & Pack. They were using De Ruy Perfumes prior to that. Both are out of Spain. The problem is getting in touch with Zara buyers or VP's. I've tried emailing about the weaker 2019 version but have heard nothing. Have you tried the recent Limited Edition?

So this video has prompted me to bring up a question about the fragrance world that is really hard to understand. I am just lately getting back into the fragrance world after not wearing any for 10 years. Anyway coming back to this world I keep hearing over and over and over from so many places about Creed Aventus...it seems like so much emphasis is placed on this scent.... anyway....I smelled it in the department store this week for the first time and I was just stunned at how bland and unremarkable it was. I just don't understand why Creed Aventus is so notable in the fragrance community at all. It's just strange. Anyone else agree?
I have zara seol, its good, vibrant leather the second bottle, and vibrant leather cologne, which is horrible, just like they put mr clean in the bottle
Personally I think it's a letdown. The dry down is way too artificially leathery for me and it kind of reminds me of cheap Turkish fragrances somehow. Honestly, they all have that cheap punget and sometimes suffocating DNA. I will not buy a fragrance from them ever again. What fooled me for sure was the top notes on first spray, which were wonderful, don't get me wrong. But the evolution of the perfume lacks charm and natural character.

Fantastic fragrance... I did a test at the zara store... 2 sprays on my inner elbow... Stayed for easy 6 hours with an awesome smell.

But one thing I learned is you got to give vl a few months to mature 🤔 why I don't know but my bottle from October 2019 is lasting longer now then it did when I first bought it
@@jahvaults6500 I was going to write the same thing. The 2019 bottle of Vibrant Leather edp I bought in the middle of 2019 seemed somewhat stronger in performance near the end of the year. It's possible Zara isn't letting their essential oils mature before creating the mixtures. The bergamot feels more portent months after the first spray. The 2018 version had very good performance. Another difference is that Zara changed bottlers in 2019 to Mixer & Pack. They were using De Ruy Perfumes prior to that. Both are out of Spain. The problem is getting in touch with Zara buyers or VP's. I've tried emailing about the weaker 2019 version but have heard nothing. Have you tried the recent Limited Edition?

Zara's Night Pour Homme IV and Rich Leather are also Aventus clones with Rich Leather being the best performer. There's evern 2 differently designed bottles of Rich Leather!
which one from zara smells like terre hermes… so overall there is no zara fragrance that is actually a dupe of aventus( like 90% similar to it at least)?

Did you try the rich leather also from zara the old version im guessing it was then replaced by vibrant leather.. that one was suppose to be clone of aventus also.. do you know how rich leather was compared to the vibrant leather(the old version as you said)
So this video has prompted me to bring up a question about the fragrance world that is really hard to understand. I am just lately getting back into the fragrance world after not wearing any for 10 years. Anyway coming back to this world I keep hearing over and over and over from so many places about Creed Aventus...it seems like so much emphasis is placed on this scent.... anyway....I smelled it in the department store this week for the first time and I was just stunned at how bland and unremarkable it was. I just don't understand why Creed Aventus is so notable in the fragrance community at all. It's just strange. Anyone else agree?

Personally I think it's a letdown. The dry down is way too artificially leathery for me and it kind of reminds me of cheap Turkish fragrances somehow. Honestly, they all have that cheap punget and sometimes suffocating DNA. I will not buy a fragrance from them ever again. What fooled me for sure was the top notes on first spray, which were wonderful, don't get me wrong. But the evolution of the perfume lacks charm and natural character.
