This has been the most epic reflection on my UA-cam channel 🥴
But for real, thank you everyone who has watched my videos for so long. Y’all are the reason I have been creating as long as I have, and I promise this isn’t a final “goodbye.”

I feel you bro especially with the editing and only getting a little views. 😅 But that's okay as long as it's your passion. I'm still relatively new to youtube and have only started uploading videos last year. It's the process that counts and the things we learn along the way and just like what your banner says, nothing great in life comes easy. I like that. Thanks for that reminder. Just take a break and you'll get that spark back. Cheers! 😀

I've learned this myself with different fields and job approaches, in the end, if you leave it behind and take a break, and don't in any way miss it, then that's a clear sign. There's a quote from Tokyo Drift that I always liked, "Life is easy, we make choices and don't look back". In the end, you're right, when it's making money its easier to make a decision, but when you're making hobby/project type content (For view scale at least) it's much tougher to see that line in the sand for you. The truth as you say even just 3:30 in, if you're not doing it for enjoyment, you're in it for the wrong reason. Stride your own path, even when it doesn't bring it's own reward, it's all part of the journey you're on. Good luck regardless bro, i'm sure you'll make it where you're trying to go.

What are you trying to focus on? I feel like if your goal is to be a big UA-camr you need to nail down what exactly you want to do in terms of content. Looking at your videos they are very broad, not a lot of thought goes into the thumbnails, not being a downer but if your video was recommended to be with any of the other videos I probably would watch it. Only reason why I clicked on this video was the title, I wanted to find out what it was that you were quitting and why because the title was vague so I guess that added a bit of a want to explore what it is you’re quitting.

Hi, I'm really glad UA-cam showed me this video. I am just starting as well, and it's definitely been frustrating at times. I looked through your library and it looks like you've done a lot of scripted self-improvement talking head videos. If you feel like coming back one day, perhaps you can try different types of videos until you find something you feel extra excited about? Perhaps keep the scripted talking head videos if that's where you're comfortable, but try videos about a topic that is not self-improvement. Then, when you feel comfortable, try doing something a bit more different such as vlogs or challenge videos or anything else that you just 'feel like' doing. Or teach us how you get that amazing soft lighting in your studio set-up & color grading, and go into tech. Eventually you may find something that works best for you.
If you don't miss UA-cam at all, then maybe you'll find that you're happier using Instagram or another platform. I've heard of people resonating with one platform more than the others.
I'm still learning about these things and studying the platform, so take my advice with a grain of salt. I wish you the best, new friend!

bro as someone who edits videos it can be really time consuming... seems like you've been pumping out content without adjusting, so your metrics never improved because u didn't change the recipe too much. recover your mental first, you still have the skills to come back one day, or even better work as an editor for someone else for a while if you enjoy it (so you can get paid for your time). I might need an editor soon anyway, to free up time to play, but its gaming content, but could pay per vid in theory
best of luck with the future whatever u do

as a passerby who doesn't know anything about content creation at all I might be able to give a new perspective, i noticed most if not all of your videos are the same - high quality videography but you're just sitting there talking to the camera about a topic. It's overdone and pisses me off, reeks of "generic self improvement youtuber" so I bet others think that as well. I'm not a fan and may never be one but good luck bro hopefully this is your year
