@Joe Dodd No, it was "The Big Valley," with Barbara Stanwyck and Lee Majors. Martin and McCloud were the henchmen of a fake preacher named "Brother Love," played by Robert Goulet.
Yeah Chester would drive me crazy too. His greatest quality (and why Dillon keeps him around) is his absolute loyalty to Dillon. That's why Dillon has complete trust in him, not a small thing.
Although I watched the TV show, once I listened to this radio show, the TV show pales. It's edgy, rough, many times unforgiving. The production values are amazing when you think these programs were recorded with actors, in a recording room, with special effects and music.
Matt Dillion would be a visionary on a mission for the future for the people for the country not a #&@% man your kind of language shows you have no respect for yourself or any one else or anything you could be tracked down by the filth you leave in your wake probley grew up in the projects on food stamps GROW UP AND BE THE MAN YOU THINK YOU ARE AND PLEASE DONT HAVE ANY CHILDREN !!!
Good episode. Thank you 🤠
Another great show 👏
L & M stands for flavor. Lol I miss free'er America.
Thank you!!! 🙏🏻🇺🇸
TV version Cooter played by the great Strother Martin...1957.
We recently watched an episode of "The Big Valley" where Strother Martin and Gavin McCloud (!) played the villain's henchmen.
@@davidsigalow7349 wasn't that death valley days?

Yep, Dillon is a bad ass however, Chester "the sidekick" would drive me up the wall, crossbar hotel is cheapest in town

This one makes me really sad
Sure wish Dillon was around to clean that old potato out of the whouse
I want my Trump economy back!
Don't bring politics into this. Ridiculous.
@@lonniedeckermusic It's our lived experience right now. Because of bad political policies our standard of living is declining. True or false?
It's a Gunsmoke episode it doesn't need politics

I love Gunsmoke but unfortunately I can't listen to it because of that L&M cigarette commercial knowing the harm that cigarette have done and can do
Understood. However, I'd rather watch/listen to those advrts than ANY of the salacious crap we have now.
Do you patronize gas stations, grocery stores?
Matt Dillion is the fucking man.
