I am back !! Next week; Metallica. Let me know what song and especially what version 😉. And if you like my vids .. I do have a buy me a coffee page , link in description 🫶
This is sick!!!! First time I’ve heard of them and they bring serious energy. The sound makes me think a little bit of one my favorite bands/DJs called Igorrr
Hello again MommaTaunT. Thank you for reacting again to our beloved Nightwish with our Valkyrie goddess, Floor Jansen. Metallica has nothing on them. Hope to see you back again here soon. Nightwish Army Phoenix subscriber here for you.
Fans of some bands that say you should have listened to the studio version is because a lot of them can't match their studio performance with a live performance. Nightwish is the exception. They are fantastic live and it's fun to watch the band and the fans. 😊🤘
Welcome back! I'm sure everyone has already written about Floor's growling, but I want to draw attention to her interesting "siren song", which she also used in a few other songs... Attention, you need to know how to sing like this, it's not for everyone!! Regards!
Edit: My google translate sometimes doesn't express my thoughts exactly. I didn't mean that you need to know about vocals because you are a singer, but it was information for "non-singers" 🤣🤣 Sorry for the double post... 😇
If NOT THINK, my favorite songs of Metallica are Fade to Black, Until It Sleeps and One, BUT many others, if I turn on my brain.)) It's my youth, just at all.)) But I can't recommend any video, unfortunately, cause I've just listened to the music and voice.((
Nightwish is nice. Not really my thing cause it's rough. Like rough and the sound is not the best live but it's like the sound sound tech, concert hall, gear, recording equipment for the video, adding an audience changes the sound and there's so much involved to get it right. Ton of experience needed to make it sound good live. Even my laptop and headphones matter for the sound I'm getting on my end. And a band like rammstein or metallica got a ton of money to get the best techs, make live stuff sound good but no doubt it's heavily edited to perfection for a youtube video. It sounds so clean and balanced/perfect and it's not a studio version. Metallica - Fade to black live. ua-cam.com/video/FcoUvu0mGog/v-deo.html The lyrics mean a lot to me. Lost a lot of family, friends and neighbors in the past couple of years. The song is actually not about that. It's my interpretation but it's about loss of something you loved. Not gonna spoil it now. But you could do some other types of music that are not really metal on another day. You liked muse. How about Red Hot Chili Peppers. Give it away or Dark necessities. They are brilliant songs.
Not sure if you are familiar with the chili peppers. They got one of the best and imo the best bass player in the world. Flea. With an unique style so recognizable. You probably know this song by Alanis Morissette - You oughta know. Listen carefully to the bass line, it's Flea. And the story is, Alanis was recordng this song and Flea walked in. He said the bass line sounds weak. I"ll have a try. Probably listened to it a couple of times. And this bass line was recorded in 1 take. Sounds very improvised and you can recognise his style from a mile away. Flea going ballistic and it sounds brilliant. ua-cam.com/video/NPcyTyilmYY/v-deo.html

Was just about to comment MOMMA TAUNT IS BACK!
Yes!!!
I'd suggest No Leaf Clover from S&M ua-cam.com/video/Sh5S3OxiE-s/v-deo.html
"Wherever I May Roam", "The Memory Remains" (Helsinki) or "Until It Sleeps" (Cunning Stunts) please
Floor growling something she used to do a lot more before she joined Nightwish so its nice to hear when we do get some .
For me , this was new
It's called grunting, but I like the song, sounds a bit rough. Cool band!
Nightwish is ALWAYS best experienced live - when there is an official live video present.
So true !

The singer is a fellow Dutchy 😉

Thank you 🙏. And I will always return but I need to go on a full metal journey as well 😉
Hi, very beautiful reaction, thank you
Floor just got even hotter (if this is possible) when she started growling.🇬🇧🤘🤘
Fans of some bands that say you should have listened to the studio version is because a lot of them can't match their studio performance with a live performance. Nightwish is the exception. They are fantastic live and it's fun to watch the band and the fans. 😊🤘
Absolutely true. And a video is maybe not showing how it sounds like being there. Studio and performing live are different. Pro's can. Good comment.
Welcome back!
