In the O Yaara song you guys stopped the video too early, there is an ending shot of Abdul Hannan humming Kaavish's (Jaffar) part which means he has started hoping again...
Another fun fact about Rang is that this take was just a practice but it was so good that they just didn't bother with a final version.

17:20 Kaavish hasn't been on Coke Studio in years. One of the last times I remember was when he sang "Nindiya re". I highly recommend checking that song out, it hits your soul.

She was one of the most famous singer of her times, her ghazals are class apart. In one of her interviews she talks about young Jaffer and how he was musically proficient at a very young age as he saw her partice music at home and took to music very naturally..

Guys you’ve heard Ahmed Jehanzeb before. You reacted to Allahu Akbar from Coke Studio Season 10 a couple of years ago. He was one of the two vocalists on the song. Also, many of the artist featured on CS are social media finds.

Ahmad jahanzaib is one of the most incredible singers and equally underrated. Check out his performance in the coke studio song "Allah Hu Akbar". He can take the live performances to Everest flawlessly.
O yaara is to me hands down the best song of this season so far. Love that you guys recognized it the way I do. Blockbuster as a song is just OK, it's fun... But yea it's the performance, done as a one shot, that I think is the real gem of the song.

tera mera hai pyaar amar is from pakistani drama ISHQ MURSHID . The story is about a guy who changes his personality from being cold carefree shauve rich to being simple goofy poor and silly for a girl who hell in love in the first sight ... its the love story about two people from two different worlds , how the man has char growth and gets a better judgement of right and wrong when he meets the girl , he has deep wounds in his heart but the girl heals him . She is his happiness and the reason to smile ... but the main conflict of the story is that in order to make her fall in love with him , he lies to her ... and the girl is hurt coz of that ... but again the guy had no other choice but to lie coz the girl would never accept someone from a corrupted political family ... and this song is extremely beatiful and soulful , literally i can hear it on loop all day

Amjad Sabri's last commercial performance before he was assassinated. The last time we saw him was on a morning show the day he died, reciting a naat. They ambushed him on his way back from the studio, if I remember correctly. Young guy. Just in his 40s, with small kids.
On a brighter note, Maghron La in Season 15 was sung by his nieces, who call themselves the Sabri Sisters 🙂
fun fact about Ahmed Jahanzaib's "TERA MERA HAI PIYAR AMAR". this song was initially rejected by the production head and the SHE (the production head) chose the 2nd option but in a tiny scene director use these lines as background music and tictok made it viral in a week and then they select this option as main OST

In the OST with "twins", The spoilt heir of a corrupt feudal lord (Pakistan still has serfdom in places) politician, while being particularly disheveled in rain, is given an umbrella by a middle class activist girl (who wants to be a non-corrupt bureaucrat) thinking that he was homeless. He falls in love with her but she hates his kind, so he sort of becomes her dad's servant before joining his office at a junior level.
The scene where she was unjustly arrested was indirectly due to the orders of his dad (who also orders her assassination, and I think her dad's later, so she hates his father), he simply walks in and uses his name to get her out, and saves her and her family multiple times like this or using his power in another way, and when asked how he casually says it's all thanks to his Murshid (spiritual master, which are very popular in many places in Pakistan), which gives the Murshid part of Ishq Murshid name with Ishq being Love.

Amjad Farid Sabri, was a Pakistani qawwal, naat khawan and a proponent of the Sufi Muslim tradition. Son of Ghulam Farid Sabri and nephew of Maqbool Ahmed Sabri of the Sabri Brothers, he emerged as one of South Asia's most prominent qawwali singers. On 22 June 2016, after finishing a morning TV show, two motorcyclists opened fire on Sabri's car in Liaquatabad Town, Karachi. Sabri was shot twice in the head and once on the ear. All of the passengers; Sabri, an associate and his driver, were then shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where he died shortly after. Rest in peace legend ❤
