Hello Craig, another comment from me again and I'm not really a comment guy. Commented on the movie about this trick in which another guy told you he had "the rights". Well I'm from The Netherlands, and it's here on pre-sale. So I gave away my cat and my dog, to save on there food, and bought it! (Just joking). Can't wait till it arrives this month! I will study it well, and I know already it will become part of my EDC.

This looks really good, but I find it quite alarming that I cannot find one official review of this set. It is only you producing lots of content about it. I can imagine it being a real worker, but this is quite unusual for a product which is already one year on the market 🤔

Hey buddy! Let’s talk about Lethal Tender. Obviously Apparition was inspired by Lethal Tender among other routines however there is a massive difference between the two. Let me break some of these differences down
1 - Firstly there is a massive difference between a packet trick style wallet and a purse. It makes sense to put a coin in a purse, while with a packet trick wallet there is a lot of empty space. It’s obviously designed for something bigger than coins. Have you ever seen a layperson keep a coin in something like a packet trick wallet
2 - Due to a purse being smaller it’s easy to switch the purse for a duplicate ungimmicked purse. A card and a wallet becomes more challenging
3 - For the main Lethal Tender routine you need a card to do the change. The card serves no purpose other than to make the change happen. With Apparition there is no card, it’s a small purse and a couple of coins
4 - A big difference is that you need to tap the card against the coin to effect the change with Lethal Tender. With Apparition there is no physical contact unless it’s structured into the routine. You simply wave the purse over the coin and it changes. If the coin is on their hand they don’t feel anything it just changes. It means you can have the coin change under misdirection and have it change with you nowhere near the coin.
5 - The purses have been customers designed for this trick. One of the features is that when a shell is stuck to the purse and you place it into the spectators hand they will not feel the shell. It means that you can perform routines that don’t even involve coins switching places. You can perform multi phase routines where coins appear under a purse on a spectators hand over and over again. You can see this in the performance on the trailer
6 - There are WAY more routines and applications with Apparition. I believe there are 15 routines on the project and then others that have been added on bonus videos and in the after show and I’m filming more. There are mentalism routines, penetrations, chop cup style routines, coins shrinking and growing, a three purse Monte and way more. You can perform a Lethal Tender style routine with Apparition but you cannot perform these routine with Lethal Tender
7 - As an extension of the previous point there are a lot of routines that aren’t involving the Chinese coin. In the trailer performance I actually performed two routines. The first was a transpo and then I went into an in the hands coin under purse style routine that didn’t involve the Chinese coin. So in answer to your question about the spectators seeing a pattern there is no pattern to see as you can go into multiple routines that don’t involve coin changes.
8 - Lethal Tender involves black art. All of my routines do not involve using black art. There are coin changes on the project by Peter Nardi and Lloyd Barnes that do use black art but for all the main routines it is not used at all
9 - the gimmick with Apparition covers the sides of the coin as well as the top which gives more cover when performing routines in a strolling environment
10 - The use of a coin purse means that you can combine Apparition with other coin routines and gimmicks. For example you can switch for a regular purse and coin into coin productions etc. you could use Nate Kranzo’s Stone Purse as a finale with ease because of the use of a purse instead of a wallet and a card
I could go on but I hope you see my point. I am always about doing the right thing. It’s when I found out about Justin Miller’s Dream Kit I reached out to him and made a deal that he was happy with which allowed us to continue with his blessing and he contributed routines to the project. But Apparition and Lethal Tender is a different thing. Magic grows and evolves over time. Apparition is an evolution of Lethal Tender and while we should acknowledge the past it shouldn’t stop us from moving forward.
