I am so proud of our community medical services people. Last Monday they paid a visit to our house to take Lee away. It is not the virus but renal failure. He has a rare disease Retroperitoneal fibrosis and Addison's disease along with advanced bladder cancer. They were very cautious about exposing us and we of them. Every night at 8:00 our community salutes our hospital workers. I have lots of firework candles that I shoot off. Tonight my town Police department showed up. Well, those guys ended up firing off some too. Now to this gorgeous painting. I watched it 3 times to catch the way you held your paper towels and did the swipes. Thank you for being such a great teacher. I was blessed the day I found your channel. Thank you.
Hey Cathleen. Im a medical receptionist for a large clinic, we are a back up clinic to our local hospital and do minor procedures and triages and deal with minor traumas, so I do shift work, we are open til late. Im so thankful & grateful to our nurses and GP's! We are crazy busy and I can tell you it is not an easy time! This painting turned out just gorgeous, Im in love with it 😍😍😍
Loved it. I just picked up pour painting during my recent staycation and an still trying to learn. I am a family medical physician in Washington state. Thanks for the shout out to healthcare workers. I also want to thank the grocery store workers and other people who are still having to work through all this.
Don’t forget construction workers! We are still working everyday, going to multiple locations, but no one has been sick so praise the lord for that! Also, we are all very thankful we still have a job, we need to pray for the people out of work, I know many, and they are not receiving money fast enough, having a hard time feeding their kids. We need to raise hell and make them open up businesses gain, people re getting seriously financially hurt right now. So if you can still afford groceries and your bills be thankful because I personally know dozens of people out of work who cannot, and this is not right, we should not have shut down business, we should have just sequestered the vulnerable. Raise hell people and open America again!
I am a recovering health care worker, a physician associate by training. I LOVE your work, and it is a key component to helping me work through my PTSD. Thanks for all the inspiration.
Hello from NC. I'm a clinical nurse manager for hospice here in Wilmington. I am so grateful for all disciplines: physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains and nurse aides. I am proud to be a part of this magnificent caring team. Thank you for distracting me, I love your work. I'm just learning. Stay safe.
Thank you Sherrie for all you do. Happy to help with those distractions now and them. Reach out if I can ever help with your painting journey. Stay safe and be well Sherrie
Hello Cathleen! My name is Lisa McConnell. I have been a nurse for nearly 20 years. I currently work as a floor nurse in a rehab and long term care facility. I want to thank you for your kind words and your art. I started exploring are last fall. I love to watch your noodling, all the different techniques you do and your amazing art! Your channel was one of the first that I subscribed to, so thank you. Looking forward to your next video, Lisa.
Hi Cathleen, I'm sorry missed this episode by about a week. Love your channel, thank you for all you do for those quarantined. I am a Registered Nurse. I work in Home Health taking care of geriatric patients. Love my job. I would like to thank all those essential workers out there giving their all, from those cleaning the hospitals, grocery store workers to truck drivers. Too many professions to name, Thank you all!
I’m a receptionist at our rural health clinic. I love all our patients we have a very large senior population. Thank you for your art and being so generous with sharing it is all so spectacular.
This turned out super cool as usual, lol. I am a retired cytology prep tech. Twice cancer of my jaw followed by 2 brain surgeries made me retire out. I miss it greatly but I will say that it has to be quite scary for all that step foot in the medical world during this pandemic. I only mentioned myself not for myself but to bring light that there is more than just Drs and nurses putting their all on the line. Im not discounting them by no means what so ever, so please know that but to watch the news, all they talk about are nurse and Drs and hospitals wouldn't function without all the people in support roles like cytology where we run up to CT, Endo, OR etc to assist in fine needle biopsies of sick patients. I appreciate you mentioning all medical workers, not for myself by on behalf of all those who don't get mentioned. So thank you, you're such a sweet gem
I'm an EMT in the UK, and painting has kept me sane in these circumstances. We have been working flat out for the last few weeks and had to cut my 2 week holiday to 3 days so its nice to get a thank you. Everyone stay safe!!
I love watching your videos and listening to you! I'm an RN. I've been in the medical field over 30 years now. I love helping others. You are a great inspiration to me and help me unwind after a stressful day. Thank you! ☺️💞
Hey Cathleen! I work for one of the national laboratories in the country and so proud that we have run over 800,000 COVID tests for patients! Our amazing staff have been working 24/7 for patient care and am so proud to be part of this effort! Thank you for your videos that provide so many of us a creative break and lots of inspiration!!!!
Love this piece. I have been in health care for over 30 years. Front line work is no longer for me at the ripe age of 65 so I retired. Who knew I would become addicted to painting. Thank you for the beauty you create and all your inspiration.
I love your work! I’m frontline staff for Kaiser Permanente! I process all the FMLA, short and long term disability and much more so I can make sure patients don’t lose their jobs and can be paid during leaves of absence due to surgery or illness! I’m proud of what I do, I’m off for three days and I’m going to paint my heart out this weekend! ❤️
I am a nurse, have been for 28 years. I have been in health care for 32. I still love it! I know this video was three years ago but still wanted to give a shout out.
Hi. I absolutely love your work, and I am a beginner paint pourer and I also sing and wrote poetry.....and I also work in the Medical Field. I am a Clinical Associate in one of our local hospitals in the Emergency Room. I work three 12 hour shifts a week and every third weekend, so sometimes I work 4-5 days in a row, and singing and paint pouring are my outlets.
Another beauty! More magic! Great cells looks like lava bubbling. Your color pallets always inspire me. I’ve been watching your “noodling” and have begun to add bits on my pieces, what a huge difference on the finished piece. And since I’ve been using the GAC800/Floetrol as my PM no more crazing or cracking! I have been in Healthcare since I was 14! First as a Medical Assistant for a Surgeon, then as an X-Ray Tech, and now I’m a RN. although my last position was in Dialysis, my passion is Wound Care: Non-Healing Surgical Sites, Pressure Sores..... when we finally get these areas to heal it’s life changing for my patients.
Sweet Millie. Thank you so much for all you do. Grateful beyond words. It’s a scary world out there right now. Wishing you good health Millie. Be well stay safe. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Stunning as always!Thank you for your inspiration & the shout out to health care professionals. I’m a nurse & art has always been a great stress reliever. I love being a nurse. It is not a job, but a calling. Much love to all people in this difficult time. Stay safe! 😷❤️
i think this is a bit outdated but im a registered nurse here in northeast ohio! i appreciate you! love getting the tips and tricks and finally trying real painting in my off time! thanks for being you!
This turned out beautiful!!!! The flaming torch will always burn for the health care workers. God bless them all they are HEROES.........🤜🤛 Great job my friend 👍👍👌👌💖🎨👏
Hey Cathleen 🤗 just wanted to thank you for sharing your skills with us all! You are amazing with your talents! I am a CNA and just started back to painting during this pandemic we are all enduring, as an escape to ease the mind! And also sharing with my elderly patients as most have been scared of the unknown days that lie ahead! So thank you thank you!! Also a big shout out to those going to work so we can have groceries gas ect. May God be with each and every one of us as we battle this virus!
Wendy bless your heart. Thank you so much for all you do. I can’t imagine the fear your elderly patients are feeling as well as what your feeling each day. Please be safe Wendy. Thank you girl 🤗
Love !!!! I am an activity director at a skilled nursing facility. This is my escape and happy place. Thank you for your inspiration during such a stressful time for us.
I love this one Cathleen as I do all of your paintings! I have 2 son in laws that are police officers and one son in law who is a firefighter. I too am so grateful for all those who are working in this crazy time and putting themselves in harms way. God bless them all. This one reminds me of fire and I need to try this one day. My daughter has a photo of a huge California fire and my son in law is standing in front of the fire and it is like his silhouette. She had it put on canvas for him. Thanks for sharing your talent as always! Hugs friend, stay well!
Very beautiful as always & gave me some great ideas for what I want to do (try) with some other colors we discussed recently . God Bless all the Frontline workers caring for people through this horrible time . CraftyJenn did a beautiful painting to Thank them & I've been trying to figure out a way to let someone..anyone in the Medical Field aware of it so they can see & share it with colleagues just to brighten their day even if just for a few minutes. I worked in the medical field for a very long time at a Children's hospital but at the time I was a mother to a small child at home who I would come home to in the middle of the night and just sit at his bed & end up crying myself to sleep over all the scary horrible things I saw and had no way to protect him from so it really plays a number on you & I didnt ever want to be able to "turn off" those emotions that so many in the medical field have to be able to do to even do their jobs so I took a break from it and got into a different line of work ..anyway I have lots of Dr & Nurse friends I still keep in touch with and they are truly heroes EVERY DAY just dealing with life's every day tragedies & illnesses let alone dealing with this horrible devastating virus that has to feel like the equivalent of looking down the barrel of a gun pointed in their faces every day and they deserve way more recognition, respect & thanks than they get so I'm sure whatever you have planned will be amazing . Thank you Cathleen for being the kind & wonderful caring person that you are !!!
🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 it’s a scary world out there. I can’t even imagine being in the middle of this pandemic Julie. My heart is heavy. So grateful for our Health Care workers. Be well darling 😊🎨
Retired Firefighter/Medic here, just found your channel as I am newly diving into Pour Art.......super excited! I saw your stuff and was like, WOW I WANNA TRY THAT! So here I am :) I love how you explain as you go and you don't go so fast that people can't keep up. I'm old and need that kind of guidance....haha I absolutely LOVE the art you've done, it's gorgeous and I am hoping that I can have some of the same gorgeous successes you've had with yours. I am starting today......wish me luck! LOL
Aloha Cathleen! I was a Cardiovascular tech/Interventional Radiology Tech for 15 yrs. Now I work in contracts and content management for the Supply Chain side of a large health system as a financial analyst/data analyst. Thanks for the shout out to all the people that make patient care possible!! Take care!! 🤙🏼❤️🤗
there are many people who do beautiful things, but you, for me, you are of high level! There is a deep work of the material, the colors, the organization of the painting. I really like your work. It touched me a lot. Thank you for sharing.
Hi there!!! I'm a pharmacy porter in the biggest hospital in my city. Which means I deliver medication for inpatients, as well as chemo for outpatient cancer patients and inpatients throughout the entire hospital. ❤ Love your videos! Just started pouring art and absolutely love it! It helps me mentally/emotionally
Absolutely stunning! Love the metalics & black. I'm a therapist, I also do safety training for health care workers. I have end stage cancer myself, but my work is considered essential services so I've continued to work since its been hard finding people wanting to work during the pandemic.
I appreciate your message to health care workers. I am a RN and NREMT- Paramedic. I am enjoying your videos. But I wanted to respectfully "educate" you and your viewers regarding the archaic term "ambulance driver" in the 1960's and earlier that term was accurate. But today ambulance's are staffed by Emergency Medical Technicians, EMTs. There are various levels of EMTs from basic to Paramedic. It takes 2+ years to become an EMT-Paramedic and it is a college degree. There is some variation between state certifications but a Nationally Registered EMT-Paramedic is the highest level of.certification possible. Please help us show respect and support to these medical professionals who are the first line of defense and help in medical emergencies and trauma. It is a rewarding yet difficult.profession that takes a toll mentally and physically. We certainly don't do it for the money. Paramedics make a fraction of what RN's do while being able to provide much higher interventions medically. One doesn't refer to a RN or MD as a 'hospital worker'. Thank you in advance. We change the public's perception one person at a time.
Hey cathleen this is beyond gorgeous. Just watching u paint is comforting to me. I am a heart doctors assistant nurse and i love my job and all the people that r part of it.
Love following all your work, COZ 😄 I’m a clinical quality and safety specialist in a large health system. I’m behind the scenes supporting all the clinical staff, process improvement, providing “at the elbow” education and regulatory readiness. I do art on the side for fun but not anywhere near what you pros are doing 😇👍
Beautiful work! I work for a medical manufacturer. We make injectors for imaging machines. I work on the receiving dock so I come into contact with drivers from all over the US. I truly appreciate all the front line workers such as doctors and nurses as well as store clerks and truckers. Please don't forget about all the other workers who not only make the equipment for the hospitals. We have suppliers who are also still working so we can make what they need.
Another beauty Cathleen! It's amazing how only a couple of colors can have such a stunning impact along with your talented swipes of course!!!😉💖💖💖 I used to work in the medical profession and know the risks healthcare workers are taking so.....THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!!!❤ Our daughter is pregnant with our 3rd grandchild and we are scared for her and her baby, but they are doing everything right. Staying home away from everyone.👍 Lori💙
What a gorgeous pour! Thank you for the shout out. I am a nurse practitioner in Ohio. You have been an inspiration on my journey with acrylic paints. Thank you! We are all essential.
Young daughter isn’t into painting but she is in healthcare. She is a nurse recruiter. They get travel nurses to different hospitals in need. She works from home but works very long hours to get these nurses set up. I’m very proud of her!
I love this piece!! It’s wonderful that you swiped from different directions and the motion in the middle looks like beautiful flames licking at something enticing. Thank you for the healthcare worker shoutout! I’m a registered nurse and definitely create and watch the creation of art to decompress after long days. Thank you for painting and being an inspiration for us all! 🙏🏾❤️
I love this. I have been a potter for 16 years but now just getting started at this type of painting. I trained at regular oil medium painting for a few years past but what you and others are doing stuns me Beautiful. I will be 84 this year.
Hello John and welcome. Pottery is my first love. I throw in the winter months. Love getting my hands dirty in the clay John. You keep at it now. Reach out if I can help. Be well 😊🎨
Love, love, love your paintings. Started working with acrylic painting during the pandemic and after I was diagnosed with cancer. It's been a rough ride, but painting has been a great distraction. BTW, my daughter is an oncology nurse, so she has definitely been a blessing to me.
I know this is an older post but the world is still running with this virus! My daughter is a nurse in day surgery and everyone tries to get their surgeries done by the end of the year so November and December are crazy busy! 2 Nurses have COVID, one was just diagnosed with cancer and one had surgery and can’t do any lifting for 2 months...that’s a lot to take on for one department...she’s in tears driving home after a 12 hour shift where she started at 8AM and now on her way home she eats her lunch that she didn’t get a chance to sit down and have at work...please continue to pray and uplift our healthcare providers! We need to keep them healthy!!!
I love doing acrylic pours and do them with my grandsons often. I cant wait until we can be together again. I have been fortunate to still be working during this pandemic. I work in a assisted living facility and we’ve been on lockdown for 7 weeks now. I happen to live in the same building which has been a God send as I would be by myself with no human contact otherwise.
Hi Cathleen, I work with the Developmentally Disabled as a Direct Support Provider and prior to that I worked with Seniors for a Home Care agency:) I am in Columbus Ohio!! Love your art and videos!
Hi Cathleen. I just ran across your video. I’m new at pouring. Turns out that pouring has been an amazing stress reliever, better than therapy. I am an RN at a mental institution. 😷 I learned a lot from your video. Thank you!
Hello Amy. Welcome. Yes on the stress relief. Thanks for joining me Amy. Let me know if I can help or answer any questions. Best of luck with your Painting Journey. Be Well Girl 😊🎨
This is so gorgeous! Gotta love the copper and gold! 🤎💛 The cells add a nice touch-just the right amount. Thank you for sharing this with us. Be well❤️ Much thanks and love to all our healthcare workers. You rock!!
Hi Cathleen! I love watching your videos. They are a very needed stress relief. I’m an LPN and work triage for family medicine. I like using these colors when I paint as well.
I've watched a ton of these pours lately and I must say, this is the most beautiful one I've ever seen. The technique is amazing and the colors you chose are so rich and satisfying. So well done!
You my dear are talented! You are first person I’ve seen who doesn’t just allow the paint to fully dictate the out come. Your swipes really were like a dance. Beautiful!!! New subscriber!!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️
Hello Cathleen, I am a Radiology/CT Tech/MA at an Urgent Care. We treat minor procedures, trauma, broken bones, many other minor medical needs plus COVID-19 testing. We work 12-hour shifts as most medical personal do. At our facility, we don't have any nurses, we are the front line. I want to thank you for your prayers and thoughts! Btw, this painting is fabulous like all of you others are. I plan to try and recreate some of your pours for my new house.
Beautiful !!! Love it.... I have the next three days off can’t wait to paint this weekend..... I work in home health care with people with brain injuries..... stay safe
Laurie Cassada ....god bless you, my daughter had a head injury, confined to a wheelchair. She passed after 3 strokes after being stable for 20 years. TBI patients are hard to take care of. You deserve a metal.
Pamela Neibuhr I’m so sorry ! My daughter also has a TBI since 2001 and is confined to a wheelchair.. that’s how and why I got into this field. No medal needed but thank you ! Stay safe...

LOL

there are many people who do beautiful things, but you, for me, you are of high level! There is a deep work of the material, the colors, the organization of the painting. I really like your work. It touched me a lot. Thank you for sharing.
Sweet Evelyne. Those are smiling big words. Thank you so very much for them. Thanks for joining me here as well. Be well Evelyne 😊🎨
Love your work and your channel. I am a cardiac nurse. Thanks for the shoutout! Happy painting
Lori thank you, for all you do. Stay well Lori 😊
So kind of you 🥰 Respiratory therapist whom is very new to acrylic pouring...Your work is beautiful, thank you for the video tutorials.
Thank you Seastar for this information. Thank you as well for all you do. Wishing you good health. 😊
Love this pour. Colors, design and movement.
Stunning, Greetings from Sydney Australia. Blessings to all those helping during this testing time.

Beautiful work👍😀❤️
Love following all your work, COZ 😄 I’m a clinical quality and safety specialist in a large health system. I’m behind the scenes supporting all the clinical staff, process improvement, providing “at the elbow” education and regulatory readiness. I do art on the side for fun but not anywhere near what you pros are doing 😇👍
My name is Rita, I’m a RN . Love your metallic pouring! So dramatic!! Thank you for sharing your talents 😊
❣❣❣
Beautiful work! I work for a medical manufacturer. We make injectors for imaging machines. I work on the receiving dock so I come into contact with drivers from all over the US. I truly appreciate all the front line workers such as doctors and nurses as well as store clerks and truckers. Please don't forget about all the other workers who not only make the equipment for the hospitals. We have suppliers who are also still working so we can make what they need.
Another beauty Cathleen!
It's amazing how only a couple of colors can have such a stunning impact along with your talented swipes of course!!!😉💖💖💖
I used to work in the medical profession and know the risks healthcare workers are taking so.....THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!!!❤
Our daughter is pregnant with our 3rd grandchild and we are scared for her and her baby, but they are doing everything right. Staying home away from everyone.👍
Lori💙
Lori wishing you and your daughter all the best. If she is healthy and being cautious she will be fine. Congrats on Gbaby #3 you are so lucky 😊

Hello there Jacqui. I’m a Ohio Girl. Born outside of Akron, Canton. Where you be girl 😊🎨
Young daughter isn’t into painting but she is in healthcare. She is a nurse recruiter. They get travel nurses to different hospitals in need. She works from home but works very long hours to get these nurses set up. I’m very proud of her!
As you should be Debbie. Hoping your girl stays well. 😊🎨
Oh my Miss Catherine.... Stunning play! I wish I was as adventurous!!!
Nalla thank you so much. Love playing with those paints 😊🎨

I trained at regular oil medium painting for a few years past but what you and others are doing stuns me
Beautiful.

Virginia thank you. I am wishing you good health. Please reach out if I can ever help with your painting journey 😊🎨
Certified Nurse Illinois love this art. Your colors are brilliant 😁
I love it! I am a pediatric RN in Tennessee. I so enjoy your videos and your sweet spirit. Thank you for sharing with us. God bless...
Teresa thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do during this crazy scary time. I am beyond grateful 😊🤗
Oh my Jolene. Hoping that you stay well. Thank you for all you do. We will be able to see our loved ones soon. I’m hoping. Hugs to you 🤗
