As a Jets fan, its shocking that if you go in the Jets forum groups and read peoples comments theres still many defending Zach for the New England game/press conference and making unlimited excuses for him after the past 2 weeks while simultaneously applying unrealistic standards on Mike White and every other QB. The conversation was pretty one-sided and obvious before, but this should end the 'debate' on whether he's the Jets best QB or not
@monkeball1117 I live near Draper UT where he is from. I saw a few Zach Wilson Jets jerseys in the beginning of the 2021 season. But not 1 single time since last year. Everyone threw theirs away. I'm not hating on Zach Wilson as a person. I just hate the Jets.
Jets passing offense under Wilson was actually about average. Technically slightly above average. Rushing offense (also determined more by the O-line than the running back) was last in the NFL. In the past two games they averaged 60 yards rushing FOR THE ENTIRE GAME. I would also like to congratulate New Yorkers on their management skills: they pick a scape goat, sacrifice him, and just put in the next guy off the streets. This time it was Mike White with 2 interceptions, 0 touchdowns, QBR of 12.2, RTG of 47, 50% completion rate at only 5.2 yards/attempt. The problem is systemic. And I’m pretty sure I can trace it to management and even ownership (you think a NY owner cares more about winning or profitability?)
The obvious pick was DeVonta Smith. Most of these GMs just pick the guy who they can market the best. It's about making money, not necessarily winning. QBs are the most marketable players and sell out stadiums. No one draft pick is going to make a world a difference anyway, so you could draft a kicker #1 overall and still build an elite team with the right picks elsewhere.

The QB position isn’t always about physical attributes. It’s about leadership skills and I don’t see Wilson having much of it. You can see his teammates aren’t ready to follow him.
Coach Saleh’s loyalty to and belief in Wilson was noble at first, but now it’s just delusional. If he continues to sacrifice the success of his team for the feelings of his QB, he needs to follow Wilson out the door.
Saleh is simply doing his job. He’s navigated the media masterfully. Do you really think he believes in Zach when he’s benched him twice over the course of the year? He’s just saying what he needs to say to the media to prevent a wildfire from occurring within the locker room. I’ll be very, very surprised if Zach starts another game for NY

Brady, Mahomes, and Rodgers all played major college football at respectable programs. Wilson played at BYU on a team that was superior in every way to the other teams on its Mickey Mouse schedule. He's talking about who they went out and got but look how bad the line has been 🤔
dude hes trash
Exactly, look at all the erased plays from penalties, Zach went 3/4 on that second drive last night for 37 yards but a false start and a -7 yard run killed all momentum and went into we want Flacco chants.
Jets will never have a successful QB with how idiotic the fan base is with how they treat them
@Bza the guy threw like 94 yards. He isn't very good ATM.
@@Manderenn started 4/8 for 64 yards in the first two drives, completely abandoned the run game and showed they were gonna keep chucking with Zach, had plays erased by penalties and couldn’t get his rhythm going
All the QBs since after testaverdy have been trash so you can really blame the front office for that
Amen@zach has to go elsewhere.. as a new yorker/jets fan stephen spoke valid points.. his career in ny is done ,finito ..he wont get a chance to prove otherwise , change of scenery needed
Stop saying, Right
Everyone wanna bring up Fields now...
Lol..Fields ..makes me.laugh there picking number 1 again cause Chicago is awful
Wilson keeps the jet’s relevant
Its time to let the hair piece go Bart
Why don´t yall talk about the steelers?
Can't be the jags are good
Why are they talking bout Justin Fields like he is some great QB, he is young and better than Wilson but he hasn't been great. He has som flash plays but still has been underwhelming as a passer.
Can you name a reliable receiver he has? I can’t
@@jordanclark6972 You don’t need great receivers to complete 5 yard check downs, dude misses easy throws too often.
As a dolphins fan im glad they didnt take justin fields, you put fields in this team and they might win the afc east division
It’s cus he is a great QB hard to pats the ball when he has the worst o line and reciving core in the leage jets wpuod be in playoffs if Feilds was there QB
He's still way better than Zach. He has probably the worst o-line in Football and the worst receiving core and still manages to produce points... something Zach can't really do.. Fields legs alone make him a special player, Zach has incredible arm power but his decision making and accuracy are not good.
