19:20 I tried doing the run at the same time as you. While you were hoping to get the carpet, a carpet appeared for me, and I drew Invoker of the Ancients and teleported to the top left major secret, getting +5 skill points and taking the carpet. Interesting turn 3. And then I got stuck for a turn and you got both brilliance and a carpet End result: i lost by 5 points because I thought I had enough health and rhe dragon hit me 6 times in one go... while i had 3 hearts of unused health potions. Scored 84. And it didn't revive me (maybe because someone had already exited?) 2nd game: oh you had someone not be revived too? Weird. Also weird was the no skip button: but is it that weird? Determining the respawn and adding that into the calculations is... Different. Maybe or maybe not hard, but low priority. My score this time was 73: I lost by 1 point.
Supposedly it should revive you though 🤔 The rule does say every player would be revived once after they die. Right? That's unfortunate. Might have been a bug of some kind.
The no skip button is something I didn't expect 😝 that's why I said "weird". Losing by one point really hurts. It does happen to the best of us. I think no matter how well we plan our moves, there's a part of luck involved with how a game of Clank would turn out.
@@Mr.ClooneysGamingArchive Guess what? I just sent in a bunch of feedback because I'm near the end of the collapsing tunnel heroic version and I can't move through a non-collapsed tunnel. I can only take the "shortcut" to the wrong side of the map. The weirdest thing for me was that typing in the feedback form randomly moves the map and makes you seasick. Edit: leaving and coming back next turn, it worked (couldn't undo to test, was a secret in the way) and I got my carpet, so I'll probably live and might win even though I have 26 clank in the bag, almost half the total. Edit: everyone finished and I'm pissed off I came third haha.
Oof... Yeah... That's rough... I had something similar happening to me too... Preventing me to take a path I should have been able to take. Leading to a different result from what I expected. I love the board game. I also love the digital version. It is very faithful to the board game with all the nice visual and audio effects and whatnot. But the bugs... Sometimes they do make the game a little bit less enjoyable. Good on you to submit three feedbacks. Hopefully they can fix them in the next update.
Isn't Sneak a better explore? Well, I guess you get 1 Influence less, but I think the less Clank is generally worth that, and you could get a mercenary.
What card I get vs other potentials is very situational. Can you provide me a time code as when that decision was made? Generally speaking, I do like less clank if I am playing a long game. But at times I would like to get cards that generates a lot of skills.
Was at the very start of one of your runs. Think the 17:54 run. You had four influence, could have chosen Sneak+Mercenary, instead took the single Explore, difference was no Mercenary, plus 1 Influence vs. -2 Clank.
Gotcha. Yeah that run. I am pretty happy with the decisions because I did get both Brilliance and Flying Carpet. Two best cards in the deck imo and there's only one copy each.

That's super lucky! Early on carpet and invoker. Woah, didn't think that play (invoke into sexrey) could be possible. Now I know 😁
