A multi-faceted artiste, Balan Nambiar is distinct from other contemporaries. If Salvador Dali immortalized surrealism, Balan Nambiar brings a confluence of the modernist with the ethnic. Moving away from revivalism and Orientalism, he blends an interpretation of the present.
Although a daunting task, his specializations are lucrative. A celebrated student of the great Italian enamellist, Paolo De Poli, the internationally decorated Balan Nambiar is credited with a phenomenal number of exhibitions, including solos, across the globe. Let's know more about him.
