I have the carbon version and theres always 2 things reviewers seem to not notice: 1) The top lateral vents are noisy when open. The wind becomes way more noticeable and high pitch. The top middle is fine. 2) The chin camera mount does not include all the pieces needed. You still need to get a screw and nut somewhere else so it actually holds the camera in place. Apart from it, it's a great helmet
A great review of a fabulous helmet. I have one of the carbon ones and it’s mega. Top build quality, fit and finish is superb and very comfortable in use. Thank you👍
I have x.wed 3 zero pro carbon. All the best, almost. Enjoyed this summer with 100% (gold) & Leatt (black) googles. I do not find any problems with the helmet peak, even paired with GS short (enduro) windshield on the highway 140kmh. Helmet is rain tested as well. Can't wait to test it in the winter. Att: Nexx R&D Check chin curtain removal & instalation?! Internal shape (& liner?) needs a bit ergonomic redesign. I find it difficult to fit in (only) one particular position where helmet outer shell does not put pressure on my skull. When I set that, fun, joy starts
I like that helmet a lot. What I don't understand is that there are no other inlays to change fitment. And since I went to a Shoei dealer who can adjust the lining I don't know why other manufacturers don't do the same. It's not that expensive but the difference is huge
The chin guard seems very flimsy, my girlfriend has the WST 3 and it just keeps falling down when she is putting the helmet on or taking it off. Guessing this might have the same problem since it is the same. I have the WED 2 just keeping up with the changes on this one.
I have seen people say you can but I honestly don't see how. One new feature I didn't mention is how easily the visor can be taken off. This is usually a faff on most ADV helmets, but with this it's so easy you may as well just stop and switch it out. - Andrew
As far as I know, Charly Sinewan ( his channel in here on YT ) wear a Nexx X.WED 3 helmet and he used to wear googles most of the time. You can see his last video in Ecuador
I bought the Carbon Pro, its probably going back to the store, cuz I find the peak is way to high, the weight is 1750 g and over all its a massive helmet - l prefer something less weight and slimmed down like the Airoh Commander. But the nexx build quality is in a league of its own, very impressive.
Just ordered mine on sale for Black Friday! Can’t wait for it to arrive. I got the trailmania matte black / high viz green and I’m so excited to see it in person!
That's a new 2025 item from Rev'it! And it's very interesting! My review for it will be out on 5th October. That's all I can tell you for the moment I'm afraid - Andrew
@@TeoRomera Just an update, the ETA for the jacket has now been moved to early Jan25. A little disappointing as my review is ready and waiting for the stock to arrive! Andrew
I had the Nexx Wed 2. Nice helmet but the sun visor mechanism failed, out of warranty as usual, and would not stay in the stowed position. I took it apart and the thing is operated by a really thin and flimsy plastic arm. Not buying again.
I had same problem - design flow. Not sure will I go for Wed 3. Also visor mounting system is not so great on Wed 2. I see that they change it on Wed 3.
It's actually great, since there's a little tab on the opposite side from the D's so you can put it on and take it off really seamlessly without having to undo it entirely. Just pull the excess and button it in - takes seconds!
I’ve purchased my first helmet with d-Ring and I must say that the comfort of riding with it feels much better that with a different mechanism. It’s always the right length. OK it’s a bit fiddly to close but you get used to it.
I know I know. I'm making up for lost time and hitting the studio hard! I'm filming 8 reviews this week! Always difficult running the business and finding time to do the content too! - Andrew

Many thanks - I need to replace my very well used Schuberth E2 which has been great but fancy trying something else - this might be the one !
Excellent review and straight to the point. Thank you 😊
Solid review! Cheers from Sweden.

I agree. It will be a problem for the winter.
Can you wear goggles with this helmet when the visor is still attached but raised, or do you have to remove it?

That's great, thanks. It's a great looking helmet and will definitely be added to my shortlist. Thanks for the brilliant review. @AdventureRiderMoto

Double d ring fastener is a deal breaker for me.
It’s the opposite for me!

I love double D😂
