Loving the car content Kobie. The high mileage on that car is great. Just shows what you can get out of the car. Here in the UK we're to quick to change cars. I'm certainly going to keep my current car for the long haul this time.
Check the subframe bushings, it's easy to check, have someone rock the car forward and back while you look underneath right by the control arms. If you see where they're mounted to moving as the car stops forward and back, the subframe bushings will need to be replaced. Make sure every switch works. Remove the Direct Ignition Cassette and see if it has an SEM label on it. If it doesn't, make sure the exhaust isn't restricted by taking it for a drive and just give 'er. Either a flashing CEL will come up meaning cylinder misfire, or the car will be lethargic when really trying to accelerate. With the engine running, open the hood and carefully listen for any hisses, low pitch growls or high pitch whistling (hissing is damaged vacuume line, low pitch growl is hole in flex pipe, and high pitch whistle is manifold bolts coming loose), for the high pitch whistle, you'll need someone to hit the accelerator while you're listening. Also, check all the lights as well.
Prices in the UK seem to be rising - especially for pre facelift 9-5’s . I was lucky to find a 2004 Aero estate last summer for £1150. I absolutely love it. Second hand cars here in France go for ridiculous prices. I did a Maptun stage one ethanol remap on it. Just love it !
Help Me, I have wanted to biy one since I got to know about them in 2015... But we dont have very clean specs here in Nigeria... Interested in purchasing through you if possible
I have a 2003 saab 9-5 now i am from the states but mine has on star aswell, these cars are awesome i only had mine for about 6 months until i bottomed out and put a hole in the oil pan 😭

Thank you! 🙂 I ended up selling the car at well over 300,000 kms. As long as maintenance is done, they'll last seemingly forever.
have an 04 manual 9-5 aero with big turbo and do88 intercooler and i love it. The best buy of my life.
Nice. I'm looking at getting one myself. Any tips?

@@samuelwilliamsbassey Sorry, but that won't be possible. I have no SAAB's anymore and have no idea about importing/exporting a car.

Thank you!
What would make it unique, if it was 5sp. MT Driving characteristics are totally different from AT.
I have a 5sp and it's a completely different car just by the way it drives and delivers the power.
