McCree isn't a direct counter to doom, more like a check for doom. He needs help and can secure kills sometimes

As an Overwatch nerd and player, my favorite streamer that I have watched is you, Cyx. You’re just super casual and real versus others, I just feel there is such an elitist vibe with the other pros. You actually explain what you do in videos at times which is something I love. Some people are just like this and you need to play around them unfortunately. Really great job in keeping the team focused on something when people are being idiots with their probably purchased account. "The Doom is going to do exactly this..." still gets fucked up by Doom anyway. I love playing Hog a lot, but u have a problem sometimes...
Some games, I can get 60% or more hook accuracy with 20-30 hooks per round.
Some game, I can't hit crap, and when I do, my one shot combo doesn't work ( even hook shoot melee ) what am I doing wrong? And at that point, should I just switch?

I know exactly how you feel. Maybe you’re sometimes just barely out of effective range for the one shot combo, or your hook prediction is off, but either way, everyone has bad games.

When you hook walk forward as your doing the combo so the entire spread of the scrap gun hits their head hotbox also aim more for the neck , majority of the spread will hit the head hotbox

Also remember the hook Is a stun you got at least a second to line up your shot properly, if you practice it enough it becomes muscle memory
