I was so looking forward to this! I like the fact you actually stop to talk about the insights you have. Awesome reaction!
Yay!!! I LOVE seeing people watch to the documentary for the first time!!
Well, I guess I'm watching the docu all over again!
Real one!!
XTRA XTRA is amazing and I cried at the end.
I'm looking forward to your reactions.
Looks like I'll be joining this ride too. :) Thank you for reacting to this series.
Next video comes out Thursday!!
loved seeing them as kids, what really struck me was how they all expressed such similar motivations too, it takes incredible focus and drive to accomplish what they've accomplished but also teamwork, all being on the same page, that really came through clearly
i had a very different take on simon though lol, he strikes me as a run of the mill abusive coach who lucked into finding 11 year old girls who could survive his psychologically torturing and manipulating them for no reason, children who thrive despite him, not because of him. you mentioned how this couldn't happen in america, and at least the part where they move in to a dorm he controls luckily wouldn't (how is that legal???), but the general tenor he strikes is depressingly familiar to me from american sports coaching world, guys who couldn't cut it on their own and resentfully take it out on kids with no way of fighting back
like hyunni i don't really know the girls' present day personalities, after this i'm rooting for them all the way though lol
