Hi Suz! The only thing you were in the wrong about was having a fb account, lol. Hey, don’t feel bad as I have one too and have tried to delete it, but once you have one you never can fully delete. I know I have tried. I had something similar happen to me and like you I let it get to me. After that I just never went back on fb. To me it is just a place where a lot of angry (not all) people go to vent their anger onto others. It’s always easier to say mean things behind a computer than it is when you are face to face with someone. To me I just don’t mess with it other than like yourself and I am in a handbag group which I rarely visit. I found being on fb is not good on your mental health, lol. 🤯🤪🤣 Now that I am a little older and wiser I would not put up with anyone like I had in the past.😉 Thanks for sharing your experience! I know there are many who feel that time is better spent sending letters to military personnel. If that is how you prefer to spend time, I'm certain men and women fighting for our country appreciate knowing they have our support. There are also many families that would have been better served if there were more resources for rehabilitation and education to improve the lives of prisoners...not everyone in prisom is a Charles Manson type. Two very different humanitarian discussions that have strong opinions depending on your personal life experiences. Suz, you unknowingly stepped into a hot bed. Yeah, I'm not on Facebook much anymore either. Life can be really heavy at times and social media adds flames to the fire most of the time. I agree with the other prior comment that is is very difficult to understand all of the details by messaging back and forth in social media forums.

I can’t believe the backlash you got for trying to help good people who are working for your country. I do use Facebook quite a lot just to keep up with family and friends but I have had did some words with people before, especially during Covid.😖 I use Facebook for making people aware of situations, health scares and things that I think they should know. I’m a person like you who would be trying to do good. You never know how people are going to respond. And of course you were no where in the wrong. You’re kind hearted and were just trying to do something good.🥰

I just don’t need any negativity in my life. I think when we’re younger we get more triggered and take things personally. I’m just too old, sick and tired to care or get offended.😩😂
