Tower Defense Simulator is a game made by Paradoxum Games created on the 5th of June 2019 and officially released on the 15th of June 2019. It involves players teaming up with one another to fighting waves of different enemies until they either are overrun or triumph that particular map. Players gain cash by damaging enemies and from wave bonuses, which can subsequently be invested in buying new towers or upgrading existing ones. Once players are defeated or triumph, they gain EXP, which is used to level up, and Coins or Hardcore Gems, which can be used to purchase new towers, emotes or skins. - Ігри

My take on consumables being usable on hardcore:
It shouldn't
It's called "hardcore mode" for a reason.
It is supposed to test the skills of players. The challenge for the true game sweats.
Consumables would indeed help make things easier and can open up more strategies. But, I digress.
Think of hardcore more as almost similar to CHIMPS from btd6
It is the true test for players to see if they know their towers well and know their way around the game.
Although hardcore mode became alot easier. I still think right now, it is still one of the most challenging mode in the game. The only thing it needs are reworked/refreshed enemies including patient zero being added

Uh do not compare tds to btd5 or 6, whatever it’s called! And btw, Hc will be reworked obviously because All legacy modes are going to be reworked(easy mode is already reworked) and since intermediate mode is new, it should also be added to hc like you said. I also didn’t wanted consumables in hc too since I wanted hc to be a separate, calm gamemode without OP Consumables! But oh well, the community wanted consumables in hc, and the devs also started to think that is is a great idea lmao. I just can’t wait for Molten, Fallen and Hc Rework
Hardcore is problematic since its suppose to be hard, although its open to fresh level 50 players which makes it hard to balance around. (Which is why having multiple hardcore difficulties would be better than just the "one size fits all" mode we have"

the point of a game is to have fun, if you want a challenge then dont use them
not only will adding consumables into hardcore make it easier for newbies to win (and get accel/engi easier) it can also make certain strats possible that wasnt possible before. Also you get more leeway to fool around in hardcore making it more fun

apparently most people want to keep it "hard" rn (hardcore isnt hard, its early game is horrendous and final wave, thats the "hard parts" after that its legit just any other gamemode if you have non-brain dead teammates and good towers)
a way to add them to hardcore would be like to no longer allow anyone to use them after wave 45 when the music start playing because like obviously that music basically means the stronger enemies are appearing. this would make most of hardcore easier but they could just make the void reaver stronger by simply not allowing consumables on wave 45-50
Yeah we're going to have a ton of stuff I actually got that the commander we work with either come this week or next week yes I was wrong but also I'm assuming the ace pilot rework is coming out next week and other new stuff like the roadmap is not so good next week

I think if they add consumables to hardcore they gonna atleast make a modifier in hc that’s like consumables does half their damage in hc
I dont know how to feel about consumables in hardcore, its kinda like how in btd6, consumables are only disabled in chimps, which makes sense, but at the same time chimps is the only place where you would ever need consumables

I just think they should stop with the weekly updates so they wont be pressured. They will have time to test the game after implementing the updates and fix the bugs that may arise so by the time the update releases to the public, there wont be any issues or complaints anymore
You are right since raturatix lefted paradoxum games below hires new tester that why we are having like 1 update evry week not like 3 years ago back in 2021 we had to wait like 6 month for an update but anyways they should rest a bit and maybe try to publish an update like 1 every month instead every of 1 or 2 week btw i dont speak english well but i try my best
Also one day the developers would be out of idea due of keeping update the game every week and the game might die soon that why they should at least update the game just 1 time a month

I'm all neutral with hardcore having consumibles or not but i would like it being added. Players were already using strategies from others wich the only skill you need is reading (and the purpose of a strategy game is MAKING strategies, not COPYING them). But with the new consumibles new players will make their own strategies, and over time they will learn to use them wisely and more foward they will learn to not use them to improve their skills.
