Out of all scenes in movies, that introduction with Will has to be the funniest. Props to Sam Claflin, he made his character believable without exaggerating

When i first watched the movie i bursted out laughing bc of the face and sound of the guy i knew he was joking and it was so frickin funny

The world is too harsh and I think they grow a thick skin just so they aren't hurt ( thou the pain is still there) or not taken advantage over. A lot of people would see you that strength ( kindness, purity, innocent, compassion and being genuine) and we hide it so we protect ourselves.
On thing I know is, they are still the same person at heart and will only be who they truly are to people they are most comfortable with, where they feel safe.
The would is a scary place.

Attraction is one strange fucking game. Sweet, cute girls like Lou are weirdly attracted to damaged guys who act cold, nonchalant and sarcastic like Will (of course having Will's looks and money doesn't hurt either). Not guys who lovingly fawn and dote all over them because "they're adorable". They get bored with that pretty quick. It sure is a very, very strange world we live in. The rules seem to always be in opposition.

When I read the book I didn't get it and LOLed when I did...so I knew it was coming in the movies and was SO hoping they didn't leave it out
I found it insulting since I have siblings with disability - BUT it fit the character at this point in time, so it works. I appreciate the fact that they brought awareness to the fact that people with all kinds of disability generally don’t like to be pitied and are aware of when they ARE, so he kind of preemptively set the scene to see how she’d react.
Her reactions, cheerful persona and outfits are epic! She looks like she was dressed by a 4 year old.

There are even two more books... In the Second one "after you" Louisa finds out that Will haver a dougther... It's Crazy!
