Finally someone mentions that Poles came after Justin was drafted and Cleared books bad contracts anything adverse to building the team, unfortunately for Justin he was a victim of the PREVIOUS regime & needed to put out a GREAT season with his arm specifically but was never developed.

Honestly as a fan it was hard at first to come to terms with fielding a team that wasnt built to win that year. But watching Poles completely gut the roster and rebuild it has been amazing to watch. He earned the first overall pick in 23 by being the worst team and selling off any player of worth. Then sold high on that horrendous season and landed the first pick again but this time as a team that was a handful of plays away from being in the playoffs. As a Cubs fan it’s strikingly similar to the approach Theo Epstein took to get the cubs that coveted World Series win. Im not saying we win the super bowl this year but im very confident the Bears become a contender this year.

Proof positive that luck just plays a sizable role in the direction of things like the fate of a franchise. The Texans completed a completely unlikely comeback to cough up the #1 pick to the Bears, then Poles executed that trade with a Panthers team that no one thought would be as big of a disaster as they were with Bryce Young at the helm, securing the Bears that guy who would have been the consensus #1 overall pick the year prior as well.
I'm not complaining (I'm a Bears fan) or putting Poles down at all as you play a role in creating your own luck, but damn that's some lucky shit.

I’d like to believe that things are headed the right way, but historically this organization is built on sand and before you can blink there’s a new staff new QB new hype train to jump on. I love everything poles have done but i still don’t understand the roquan trade, He is one of if now the best MLB in the league and the deal he got from baltimore was more then fair, I wish we still had him.
He better get the offensive line shored up. They needed two or three guys. That line was not good at protecting the pass. Good run blocking.
Next year’s draft/free agency should help a ton 👀

They might of drafted Caleb Williams, but hes just as likely to be ass and decent. Bears history leans towards him being ass. Jay Cutler could be the best bears qb ever. Caleb hasnt even surpassed Trubisky so lets not get ocer hyped on williams till he actually....does something?

Bears are setting caleb up for failure just like they did fields and trubisky. They have more of a chance, but they will still screw it up. Love the content👍👍
