Congrats on a nice buck. Also, a tip of the hat to you. You knew the shot was a little back and didn't make excuses, you just pulled it a little. In all honesty, any shot that brings down the deer quickly and respectfully is a good shot. Is it really like that hunting in Texas? Big bucks, a lot of them, and the deer don't all run even after shooting one 😁...Congrats again and Rock on 🤘😎
Yeah these places are called high fence hunting.
@@FBIcounterscammerdepartment Didn't realize that when I first saw video. Kinda like shooting fish in a barrel. 😟
Awesome! Nice gun, nice deer... I need to check out that UTV though!
Ought to be! Costs as much as a nice car!
@@GenX-Grampa yes in deed! Just saw that!
Yamaha SxS and quads are exceptional !
What ammo did you use?
Great video, guys. And good shot!
What are you waiting on!
I need that gun. Unfortunately I am having a hard time finding it locally
Have you tried Gunbroker?
One thing I can say about people that pay to hunt private land. It keeps him out of my woods. Public land.
Looked like a gut shot to me.
It was hit back and we didn't track for a little bit but it didn't go 200 yards. Was piled up dead on the trail it took which I still find weird based on where the bullet went in. It must have done more damage at impact than we thought. I was worried we were going to have a long track but that deer looked like it died running based on what we found when we recovered it. Not my best shot for sure
Why do people whisper after they shoot game? Its odd
Actually most do it in case the deer beds down quickly so as not to spook the deer anymore if it's a good hit. It's why folks give deer 30 minutes to two hours before tracking and they try to be as quiet as they can be
Kok
It's also to bot scare off other animals that may be close by
so you don’t spook game and push it further
So theirs still another chance that another deer can come out they’re not really scared of gunshots unless other deer are spooking and running away
👍🦌🔫👌
I counted 11
This hunt was irritating ! That hunter TOOK forever to shoot ! I felt like he was waiting for that buck to come sit on his lap ? I have hunted since I was a young kid, 64 yrs old now, and I have hunted with several people over the years and NO ONE HAS EVER TAKEN THAT LONG TO SHOOT !
Thanks for your comment but with all due respect this was his first deer ever and he was really wanting to make sure he made a perfect shot and the deer was in a place where it all his vitals were lined up. Just because you choose to shoot fast doesn't mean it's the best to do so. We think he did it perfect and congratulate him on a perfect shot and his first deer.
@@WhitetailDiaries The angle must have been different then it looked ? Because it looked right in front of him, and he could have thrown a rock and hit that buck ? Also I don't have the luxury of hunting a well stocked private property ! Must be nice ?
@@dannyf100 Open range danny, Open range that is well managed but it appears that you're just going to pick this persons first deer apart and frankly that's sad. And yes the camera is a good three feet to the side and angle on all hunts are different from what the hunter sees and regardless it's his shot to take when he's ready.
You do is all you do is talk and try to sell
