the truck @ 8:43 and the"bushwacker" ford@ 11:11 are just too awesome gotta love how the detroit powered ones and the dodges sound ,. i like the one international with double front bumpers
A wonderful line-up of fire trucks old and new virtualy a history of firefighting vehicles -the only complaint I have is why did not the police divert traffic on the other side of the road
Thanks for the nice comments! It would be nice if they would block off the road while the parade is going through. Our truck is going by the camera at 4:27. Yhis was the first year that I did not ride on the truck in the parade. I wanted to video tape it and take pictures too of every truck going by.
Is there anyone from Saginaw who remembers an old fire engine that was parked on Bay Road near the old Bubbas building? It was parked there for a long time. I was trying to find out what happened to it.
Help !! Nearest International Airport to this event please, worth a hop over from the UK do you think possible to do some aFire Buffing during the week? Many Thanks
I was surprised to see those old tiller ladders. Definitely not one of the common types to be preserved or at least I have encountered very few tillers that were very old..
Is it just me, or do the Q2's of today wind down faster than the Q's on these old classics? I like the old ones that were still winding down when we were loading finished up and loading hose back on the truck.
I find it stupid that the cops didn't help out at all during this parade they couldv'e least block traffic. what if a car hits one of the fire trucks anyway this was a very good recording I liked the truck going past at 11:04
Here is an unlikely visual treat... a large print made from a 50s Russian firetruck brochure. Crazy! www.etsy.com/listing/114050532/vintage-truck-print-cccp-russian

I like watching antique fire trucks, and imagining what it must have been like in the times that they were used

It's mind-boggling to think of the combined total of all the emergencies these great rigs responded to....
Love those old trucks...and the pre-electric sirens they had.
My 2 and a half year old son is in love with this!! Watched it so many times I've lost count ♥

Seeing a Crown Fire Truck from the West-side of the Country is super rare!
Man, the classics were the best. Awesome video.
I Remember the Old Hand Operated Tiller Ladder Truck. I think they used it as a spare ladder truck in Buffalo N. Y. It was about 1956.
Cool looking firetrucks
Seeing the 1958-60 ford f750 w/ wig wag headlights👍👍
