CoasterMC Generally it's because one hand is better at certain aspects than the other - For example, in the beginning of the OST called 'Invasion' from Bleach, I use my right hand for the bass melody, and my left for the soprano in the beginning.
I figured that would be the reason. But there are some people who just do it look cool and kinda "show off". Personally I try to avoid crossing my hands because of the haudy attitude it portrays
