Not ours, we got rid of the local police long ago due to drama and constant issues.
I had a place in a city near, due to needing the VA. I made the mistake of going out at night and ended up in the hospital by police severe beatdown.

I live here in Michigan and YES the cops here are corrupt as hell.
The corruption is in every state, Every county in the united states.
I know of an 8 year old girl the state cops passed around here in the U.P. They investigated themselves and no charges were brought.
They have cameras to hold the public accountable but the public use cameras to hold them accountable is non permitted , they have closed doors and the courts to suppress their crimes and the jury always sides with government especially when pre-warned of retaliation without recorded proof of that act of intimidation.

There are too many appointed unelected officials who wield the power of government and are allowed to do so without consent from the people or laws enacted by a duly elected legislative body. In some small towns across America, they are family owned and run. Meaning that their offices and titles are inherited being handed down from generation to generation.
